Barkman & Smith Physical Therapy

I’ve had many physical therapy sessions through the years in other locations. The experience with Barkman and Smith has by far been the best! They give compassionate and competent care, and the staff is wonderful. They listen to my concerns and I know I’m well cared for. I highly recommend this practice!

Chase and his fur baby are very professional and supportive. I love that Chase takes the time to help me feel comfortable and complete my therapy that has been a great help. The sciatica pain is much less now and I can function. I love the alliance location.

Now this is a great facility! Everyone is so friendly and genuine as well as professional. I’m getting treated for bulging disks in my cervical spine area and the stretches are helpful. They have a good amount of staff and patients which is a good sign for me. The last place I went to was bare 😳.

Exceptional and professional staff. They customized my treatment plan to help boost my core strength for a lower back injury. And gave me detailed at-home exercises to keep me going long after I finished my therapy sessions. Highly recommend them.

Amazed by the Drs. and therapists and even the office staff. They are great people who care about the people who come there. Everyone is friendly and makes coming to physical therapy a pleasure. I always come away feeling so much better. These are good people who love what they are doing and CARE about the people they help. They brighten my day each and every time I come in.

Personally recommend this physical therapy center to everyone! All the staff are super friendly and definitely know their work. Also, care a lot about getting your rehab done, with the least amount of pain with results.

We have been 100% pleased with Barkman and Smith! The entire staff is so friendly and our PT, Michael, is so warm, professional, and knowledgeable about our situation. He is so good with our six year old daughter and has made all the difference in her recovery from clubfoot surgery. He comes up with awesome exercises that our daughter loves, and engages her in such fun ways. The ladies in the office, the techs, and the owners are all so supportive and encouraging of our little girl and her progress. We love this place and these people, and we highly recommend them for any treatment at any age!

I have been to a few PT places but this one I'd the best!! Ron and John are very knowledgeable and good at what they do.

I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism, compassion and knowledge of each of the therapists that have worked with me. I had a very big emergency back surgery 2 1/2 months ago (a 360 Laminectomy, had a fusion of the L4and 5 and a 3inch cyst removed from spinal canal) and it has been a long recovery and still have a way to go to get my strength and mobility back and I feel like I am making my best progress since going to Barkman and Smith. I had inpatient physical Therapy, Rehab at home and now outpatient physical therapy at Barkman and Smith.

My daughter and my mother had also been patients and Barkman and Smith Physical Therapy so I was already aware of how good they were and when I needed physical therapy I immediately wanted to go to them.

I will gladly recommend Barkman and Smith Physical Therapy to any family and friends in need of physical therapy.

I have received physical therapy from several different providers intermittently over the past six years and Barkman and Smith has been the very best. Their therapy is highly individualized and you receive constant one-on-one instruction, attention, and assistance. This is the only place where I feel truly confident that I am safe during therapy.

Today was very good therapy. I accidentally hurt my lower back and was given prompt attention. They tried to alleviate the pain and make me comfortable. They were successful! Thank you!

I was in great pain. My lower back was completely messed up. I went to the HEB Hospital in Bedford to get help but their PT Dept. was a mess and the therapist did not know what she was doing. I left after two sessions.Next, I went to see a chiropractor but he was not able to help me either and after three visits I quit. Then, I went to see Barkman and Smith. I had no hope but Mr. Barkman gave me hope and we started the therapy twice a week for seven weeks. After getting fifteen sessions my pain is gone and I feel brand new. Everybody there was very kind and supportive. They gave me excellent care and I highly recommend them!

After experiencing other centers I was pleasantly surprised to find Barkman & Smith. They have the friendliest, caring staff and maintain a very clean facility. They make therapy enjoyable. Thanks B & S.

Great people producing great results! I've had to go here twice for ankle issues and they have been so helpful, friendly & fun! Besides that, they've taught me how to make my ankle work better so I won't have to return!
