Andy's Pizza Adams Morgan

I travel for work a lot and always look to try local pizza. Saw this place and decided to give it a try. Just got a simple slice of pepperoni and it was great! Will definitely go again next time I'm around.

Lots of seating, pizza as whole pie or by the slice (I did basil, mushroom onion, and white). Really nice service - definitely recommend it for a Sunday night spot. Pretty fast and delicious - will be back!

Love Andy’s! The pizza is the best around. The shop in Adams Morgan is already a staple in the neighborhood. Come here almost weekly. And the burrata is so good!

The pizza is perfect. I like their approach of simple and perfectly executed pizza. The sauce is just smashed tomatoes with some salt, but it’s so good that I crave it almost every day because the tomatoes are so yummy. The cheese is excellent, and the Parmesan is some of my favorite. I’ve definitely saved 1 or 2 small containers to put on pasta. I have tried every vegetarian pizza option and I love them all. My favorites are the margherita and the white pizza (usually don’t like white pizza but the ricotta is SO good). Try the white pizza with hot honey and some red pepper flakes. The meat eaters in my life love the pepperoni and the carnivore one.

Andy’s also has a wide variety of drinks. I’ve had everything from a super cheap Jameson on the rocks to an old fashioned to an espresso martini to some craft beer I don’t remember to some good red wine. The staff is knowledgeable about the drinks too, so when I described what kind of beers I liked, they gave me one that they thought I’d like and I did (something called Jackie O). My mom and her friend really liked the glass of wine and two slice special for $15.

Finally, the service and environment is really good. I complain about service in DC a lot and didn’t initially expect a lot from a casual spot but it’s great. The staff is mostly bilingual, very friendly, and efficient. If I dine in, a manager always checks on me sincerely. Dan the manager even remembers me and what pizza I like, which gives this restaurant a homey feel. The music is also great. I’ve brought a lot of people here, all with diverse tastes and dietary needs, and literally everyone has been happy.

Andy’s Pizza 🍕 will blow you away!! It certainly gave me everything I look for in a pizza + more… And now I have a reason to visit Adams Morgan more often 🤣. When it comes to New York style slices… They really hit the mark. I rarely eat the crust, because usually I find it a little dry… but I literally devoured the entire slice!!!

Got myself the pepperoni special and I was definitely not disappointed. I couldn't put the thing down, couldn't get enough. The people there are also very pleasant and I loved every moment of the experience

Back when I was in Japan, I wasn’t really a fan of pizza – I’d even say I disliked it. But after moving to Italy and trying pizza there, my perspective completely changed. The flavors were incredible, and I had to reevaluate my bias against pizza. Even Andy’s Pizza was amazing. Without a doubt, eating it in the restaurant beats takeout by far – the crispy texture is just unmatched.

Very good! I always wanted to try them and finally got a chance with my friends. The server was super helpful and gave us a helpful tip. Instead of purchasing one slice 4.65, we can get a whole pizza of 8 pieces and would be more economical. The best part was that we could mix and match with the slices set out. I really enjoyed the thin bread and the dough tasted of good quality. Definitely will return again. My favorite were the margherita and pepperoni.

Inclusive Environment

We order here all the time but today was different than any other. My daughter is a Special Olympics athlete & hearing impaired and the young lady behind the register told her she works for them and communicated with our daughter in sign language! We couldn’t contain our smiles. Any inclusive place we can find gets 5 stars from us.

I have been here numerous times and the quality is great! I think my favorite might be the mushroom-and-onion pizza, but all of the kinds are great. Make sure to grab some of the shredded/grated parmesan on the counter.

I am disgusted with myself. I always thought I had self control in my eating habits.

I stayed in the neighborhood for three nights. And ate Andy's Pizza four times.

I honestly don't recommend trying this place if you also want to keep up the facade that you're fully in control of your life. Andy's will make you question yourself.

The pizza is hot and available quickly. They have reasonably priced alcohol. There's occasionally a very cute boy working the front. What more could you want?

Easily some of the best pizza I’ve had. Staff is lovely and friendly and they’re margarita pizza has just the right ratio of everything. They’re partnership with Lost City Books next door is very cool!!

I was visiting a friend in DC and I stopped by Andy’s Pizza. They have the best thin crust pizza I have ever tried. The place is fun, the music is great, the guys working there are very friendly! This is a solid 10!

Was at Andy’s pizza in Adam’s Morgan and never thought the pizza would be good. I was blown away! The atmosphere was amazing and the manager was very attentive and went above and beyond his customer services skills. Truly recommend this pizza spot!

The chard lemon broccolini was absolutely amazing! Also got 2 slices of vegetarian pizza that really hit the spot. Definitely best pizza spot in the city

Absolutely fabulous pizza place. Simple casual take out.. exceptional quality. They always have a wide variety of pizza-by the slice.. and the past two weeks, they’ve had an extraordinary lamb sausage with basil and- mint specialty pie ( a little Mediterranean take- curated by a Michelin * chef friend of Andy’s ) Yum!

Best pizza and pizza experience in DC. Delicious pizza and really nice happy staff. And don't forget to try the broccolini!
