Pizzeria Paradiso

Came here around noon on a Friday and was greeted with superb hospitality. The garlic knots were superb as an appetizer. The pizza we each got was hot and delicious. Additionally, there selection of beer and wine provided options for all. I was visiting in the area but would recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great pizza with a cool drink. Fantastic atmosphere as well.

We came here after we spent the day walking around the White House etc. We were tired and hungry and fortunately we got seating right away. We did have to wait a while, but it was so worth it! We just got the margarita pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The other pizzas looked really terrific, I was sad that we couldn't try everything. We have really wonderful pizza in California where I live, and this is definitely up there. I would recommend stopping in here and trying the pizza! Looks like they run different daily specials.

Great place for pizza and a beer flight! We enjoyed the selection of beer and thought our pizza was a good value! The waitstaff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant wasn’t too busy on a Sunday evening.

First of all this place has an incredible beer menu… so far so good. Then the pizza we ordered was so good too. Very friendly staff and a quaint homey feel makes this a good stop in DC for pizza. There is also outside seating but it was way too hot. Overall I’d say this makes my list of places to eat while in DC

Stopped in here for lunch after an afternoon of walking around.
The location was not too busy for a walk-in without a wait.
The service was friendly and attentive. From the dining room you get a view of the pizza oven.
The draft list was extensive and had plenty of local and imported options.
We ordered the macellaio pizza, which was delicious and perfectly crispy.

Good local place for pizza. This is the specialty higher quality type of pizza place, as opposed to the greaselord type (which is also good, just different). Crust is light, airy, and crispy while the toppings and sauce are just enough and not glarpy. Ask about their multiple pizza specials. Beer selection is pretty good, with happy hour till 6 on most weekdays.

Wow! The quality and flavor of ingredients here is really good, definitely a step up above your average pizza place or Italian restaurant. Highly recommend for a yummy (but not too over the top) pizza.

Very solid pizza place, more Roman style than neopolitan. Great crisp, quality toppings, excellent cheese. Impressive oven. The pies could do with a bit more sauce and the crust could use a bit more airiness and lightness for me personally, but overall it’s very solid. Highly recommend the bottarga pie with the egg on it- really special and surprisingly delicious. The cauliflower salad is a great way to make yourself feel better about consuming an egregious amount of cheese, carbs, and meat.

The pizza was amazing. I love that I was able to add my own toppings. It was delicious & full of flavor!

Amazing gourmet authentic pizza. Crisp and extremely flavourful. This place has the best beer and pizza pairings I've ever experienced. Very impressed with the tastes offered and pleasant dining experience. If you're looking to try some good craft beer, this is the place. Pizzas come in 9" and 12" and are so good. I had the atomic pizza with pepperoni added. Olives were provided as a light snack which paired perfect with the beer. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area for a great experience.

Had a fantastic time here. The food was delicious - had some pizza and a salad. Salad was a decent portion. 12” pizza is enough to feed two people. Garlic olive oil dressing was superb! Great atmosphere. Tip - there are two bathrooms downstairs, so you don’t have to wait for the 1 upstairs to open up!

Pizza is 5/5 stars, superb flavours on the macellaio pizza and amazing crispy crust that’s not too thin. The chicken wings also had good flavour but needed to be much crispier.

Pizza is delicious! 20 percent dine in charge.... not aure what thats about but ill tip anyways.... it was good and i will definately be back... garlic knots were slammin!

Loved this pizza place! Great pizza, awesome beer selection and good service! They will do half and half pizzas and a specialty pizza with an egg and fish eggs on it! Was a great refill spot after sightseeing for hours. Highly recommend it!

Excellent pizza paradiso! We visited on 5/29 and were given a contact tracing paper to fill out for dining in. I thought it was a great idea and felt safer eating here knowing if someone tested positive and reported back, then we could be notified. The pizza came out hot and shortly after we ordered. Way better flavor than usual chain pizzas and not too salty like most. Would recommend to others and will be back in the future.

Best pizza I've ever had. Consistently. Quality toppings and they have the baking down to an art. Wine and beer selection is outrageously good as well!

This is a great place to grab a slice and enjoy your favorite beer, wine or cocktail in Dupont Circle. The pizza options are plentiful and diverse, whether you want a specialty pizza or build your own. The dough is a medium crust and complements the toppings well. There are pasta, salads, calzones and other options on the menu as well. My husband and I tried a couple local dark beers and found them both delicious. The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. We would come back again. Thanks!!

Update November 2020: Stopped at Port City Brewery the other night to pick up my DIY pizza kit as part of a partnership event with Pizzeria Paradiso. I love these events during COVID-19 to support community small businesses, while staying safe. I ordered the Paesana pizza kit without realizing that was the same pizza we enjoyed in person about a year ago....lol. I guess I know what I like and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back to the brewery and participate in future events....Paradiso pizza is awesome too! Thank you all. :-)

Excellent pizza. I had the pepperoni with mushrooms and fresh mozzarella. Truly delicious and no upset tummy! The place looks very presentable and the service was excellent. They accommodated me last minute. I would go again. I am a slave to good pizza! This was quite good. PS: they made me a small pizza to go as my original order was deemed too small by the establishment!

Pizza was really good. But beer, I'll try it again. You can have one small pizza and a glass of beer around $20. If you have a chance to visit Dupont circle, try this place. But the staff was not that kind.
