Crenshaw Guest House B & B

Our first visit to Auburn was made more memorable by staying at Crenshaw Guest House. We stayed in the Samford room and found it to be extremely comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was delish every morning matched by great service and company from Mary Jo. She is the kindest, most knowledgable and most accommodating host. Each day we met two return guests whom she treated like family. That's the best compliment, right? A return guest. Highly recommend staying here. Location, service and comfort are top notch!

We absolutely adored our stay at this delightful and serene retreat! Nestled in a tranquil setting, the accommodations boasted incredibly cozy beds dressed in luxurious linens that promised a night of blissful sleep. Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous and wholesome breakfast spread that could easily rival a feast for a football team!
Our family had the pleasure of staying in the quaint Pat Dye cottage, a charming separate unit on the property. It was an ideal choice for families, offering two well-appointed rooms. The first room featured a grand king-size bed, while the second room served as a multifunctional space with a kitchenette, a cozy sitting area, a dining space, and innovative bunk beds built into the wall. Both rooms were equipped with televisions, en-suite bathrooms complete with bathtub-shower combos, top-of-the-line Dyson hairdryers, an abundance of plush towels, and luxurious bath products. They even had two Tesla chargers in the parking lot.
The outdoor spaces added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Surrounded by Japanese maples, pecan trees and camellias. We had a blast with unique activities like axe throwing, relaxing by the fire pits, swinging on the porch swings, and unwinding in the hammocks. The service here was exceptionally warm and attentive, striking a perfect balance between being helpful and giving us space.
This little gem exudes Southern charm at its finest, making it a top recommendation from us. Whether you’re looking for a family getaway or a delightful escape with friends, this place is a splendid choice. The warmth and comfort it offers are simply unmatched!

Stayed here one night during a college visit after friends recommended. Very easy, short walk into the main shopping area and the college. Amazing experience! The cottages are adorable. We stayed in the Pat Dye cottage and it was perfect! Comfortably decorated with a lovely porch out front. The owners are so accommodating and nice! Breakfast was amazing! They really do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Staying here is like a home away from home. Next time we are in Auburn we will definitely be staying here again.

Crenshaw B&B was beyond amazing from the moment of booking! We booked the Thach Room for an elopement wedding weekend and though the room was old, all the amenities (TV, dehumidifier, air conditioning, kitchen, Dyson hair dryer) and the extremely comfortable beds and pillows (even the bed in the "squirrels nest") made it completely worthwhile. Mary Jo was exceptional from the first phone call, to breakfast, to wedding prep - she brought "above and beyond" to a whole new level! I am still dreaming about breakfast and the pound cake pancakes! We are so appreciative of Mary Jo and Crenshaw B&B, and will definitely recommend to everyone visiting Auburn!

Crenshaw House is amazing. The property is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the staff is outstanding. They have thought of every detail, from fresh baked cookies to fire pits and hammocks. The staff is super friendly and they are like little elves that are always there to make sure everything about your stay is perfect, but you never notice them. A very difficult balance to achieve!

Great location and accommodations. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful and went out of their way to provide a great experience. Our family particularly enjoyed the grounds which includes cornhole and an axe throwing game so the kids had ample activities to keep them busy. The fire pits and making s’mores at night were also memorable experiences for the family. Would highly recommend and we plan to visit again.

What a wonderful place! Bed was luscious and room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and I currently wish I had one of the peanut butter cookies that were left out for guests! Host was wonderfully responsive and allowed us to check in after hours since we were helping daughter with move to Opelika.

Our visit was wonderful. The team at Crenshaw were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were awesome. The Thach unit was charming and the grounds were gorgeous. All the items such as sheets and toiletries were top quality. We hope to return for another visit soon.

A stay at the Crenshaw is a real treat!

We had an outstanding visit in Auburn staying at the Crenshaw House. The staff go out of their way to acommodate even the smallest wants and needs that we had. Clean, warm and refreshing, particularly in the midst of Covid. Breakfast was a real highlight and was done with an extra special touch of planning and care. Waking up to the smell of bacon rising upstairs to our room was unbeatable. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay over Valentine's weekend 2021 and we will certainly be back. A real gem of all the B&B's we've stayed at.

My family’s time at Crenshaw Guest House was simply divine! Mary Jo was extremely kind and hospitable. The accommodations were TOP NOTCH! The food was unforgettable and I hope to repeat this dreamy experience again soon.

Beautiful place! Lovely people! We truly felt at home. The rooms are comfy. The food is delicious. The hosts are gracious and friendly. We were there for an Auburn visit. The night we arrived we lounged in the yard, took a walk over to campus(stopping for popsicles on the way), visited with the dog,
chased fireflies, and had a restful sleep. The breakfast was yummy and waiting for us when we got up the next morning. We were able to leave our car parked while we walked to campus for our tour. I can only hope my daughter chooses Auburn so that I have a reason to return to the Crenshaw Guest House

Awesome! Accommodations were very comfortable, nice, and clean. Owners were very friendly! Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were very well kept and pristine. I will be back if I am ever in Auburn again. We stayed in the Coach Dye Cottage and it was perfect for us.

We loved our stay at the Crenshaw house! We stayed in the Pat Dye cottage & it was perfect for our big family! The service was exceptional and the homemade breakfast each morning was delicious! Great location-close to campus. We walked to the game. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here during Camp War Eagle, and we were so care for! They already knew we needed to leave early for breakfast, and coordinated with us to make sure everything was ready in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, too!

Our accommodations were clean, private, and comfortable. We recommend it to anyone heading to Auburn!

The Crenshaw house is amazing and so are the people that work there, it's a beautiful property with a fire pit, hammocks and a outstanding breakfast! 5 stars plus!! If you go to Auburn this is the place for you!

Absolutely gorgeous!! Beautiful inside and out. Comfy, Comfy. Food was delicious. Hostess was outstanding. My room's bed slept super well. I loved my visit at the Crenshaw House and plan to return when I can. Thank you Crenshaw House for a great experience!

This Bed and Breakfast is the best we have ever stayed in, the rooms are cozy and wonderful. George our host is an excellent cook and provides a substantial great tasting breakfast. Plus the atmosphere is all "Auburn Tigers" a nice feature when visiting our college daughter.
