Sportsman Lake Park

Clean park with many picnic tables, some along the lakeside. Many pavilions for rental that have lights and power. Food for a fan. Splash pad, mini golf, snack bar, and rental pedal boats. Small park train for the kids. Restrooms spread out in the park and clean.

Highly recommend taking the family here. They have a splash pad for the summer. You can feed the ducks or ride the train. You can also go fish or rent a paddle boat.

They have a large park here as well as a small splash pad. There are biking/walking trails, putt putt golf, a train ride to! You can rent little boats and bikes too. The concession stand has the best milkshakes! There is a lake where you can walk onto a dock and feed ducks, geese, turtles, and fish. You can rent a camping space to or just have lunch under a pavillion. At Christmas they have the most beautiful drive thru light show to music! Overall 10/10!

Great walking trail a lot of it shaded. Pup friendly! Did notice some people didnt clean up after their pets such a shame people are so lazy.
Concession open reasonable food prices. Splash pad, bike rentals, kayak rental,paddle boat etc.

The playground is new and very nice and they have a splash pad for smaller children. It's not very big in terms of sprayers and it wouldn't be good for older kids I feel. They have mini golf, several picnic areas, host parties and they have walking trails. There is also a train that goes around the lake on certain days.

Conveniently located off of 65N in Cullman County with maybe a 7 minute drive from the Dodge City Exit 👏 Sportsman Lake Park is a very clean and nice park to visit during any time of the year; however, I highly recommend going to see the 1+million Christmas lights and displays that never cease to amaze me... Especially when it only costs $10 a carload 😊🌲☃

I love this place! They have a wide paved path around the lake, that provides great way to exercise with your family or kids. The splash pad is a huge hit, and playground. They have many small covered pavilions to eat your picnic at. They also have a train for kids to ride (seasonal). There are a couple of mountain bike trails, and hiking trails to explore. The putt putt golf course is a summer hit!

Sportsman Lake Park is and always has been, a beautiful little spot in Cullman to walk, camp, have a picnic, or enjoy some fishing. It’s free to enter and fishing permits are only $2. There is ample parking and a large children’s play park and splash pad. You can feed the ducks, geese, and fish - they have quarter operated feeders. There’s a little train that goes around the lake, a paved path, and restroom/bathhouses along the way. It’s a place I have fond memories of coming with my folks and fishing with my dad.

Sportsman Lake is like a temporary get away. It has ducks and geese that you can feed. Feeders are located near by so bring your quarters. A nice big play ground to play on if you have little ones. My favorite thing is the paved track there is for walking. There are plenty of picnic tables for eating at too with your friends or family.

Been going here since I was young. The walking trails are clean. There is a splash pad for the kids in the summer. Camping and hiking trails. The train ride is always a must. Everything is handicap accessible and safe. The best park in the county.

We love sportsman's lake. From the train to the pavilion rentals to the yard sale to the Christmas lights. Absolutely amazing.

Such a great place to go for Family fun. They have a small train, putt putt golf, a playground, camping area for RVs and Tents. You can rent Bikes and Paddle Boats. There is also Ducks and Geese around the Lake. There is so much you can do, something for everyone.

A relaxing environment for taking a healthy 1.5-mile walk or jog around the lake. The pine trees offer plenty of shade, and the path is wide enough to allow for family and friend walks.

First time my son and I have ever fished there. We caught five bass right away. Lost a crank bait. But seeing the smile on my son's face because he is bank fishing was PRICELESS.

Best $4.00 I have spent in a long time.
Kids are only young once.

Great park..very clean...people are truly nice and there is a Beautiful Christmas lights display and carriage and train rides at Christmas!

Cool pavilions in the shade. Plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Had car shows,train rides, putt putt golf, splash pad for kids and paddle boats plus kayaks. Good snacks at the office and friendly workers.

Great place for the kids. They have multiple activities to do there. Plus, they have different events that occur throughout the year.

Trying to find ice cream on Aug 23rd @ 1pm and Sportsman Lake was our 4th stop!!!
They were open and ready to serve!

Camping here is great. Not too crowded. Paved walkways and bike trails. Putt-Putt golf, splash pad, train ride. Our son absolutely loves coming here.
