Wow! The Cajun chicken & pasta was phenomenal! Also, you have to try the homemade cheesecake with fresh strawberries& whipped cream! Our server was Kayla! She was attentive to our every need. The restaurant was located in a beautiful historical building in downtown Cullman. We will definitely be back. Try it! You won’t be disappointed 💜

Our 1st time there. We got a lg Calzone stuffed with Pepperoni Sausage Meatball Cheese and Sauce. It was good but not what we thought it would be. There style is Chicago we are used to Massachusetts or Florida Calzone. The young lady was awesome on 3/2/24. We will be back to try their lasagna.

Went with my boyfriend on a date and it was very inexpensive!! Our total only came out to $33 for the both of us. There was a mistake with our drinks, but our waitress was friendly and provided quick service. Overall, would love to eat here again! :)

Carlton's is a favorite spot for my husband and me when we come to town for a night out. The last time out, I had the Tuscan Pasta. The sauce was not too heavy, and the touch of bacon was delicious! And, there was so much to eat! I'm looking forward to eating my leftovers for dinner tonight. If you're looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere, you have to try Carlton's.

The pizza was fantastic. We are very glad we stopped. It has a great old time Italian feel in the restaurant. The pizza sauce was delicious, and toppings were just right. The crust is light and chewy. I would definitely recommend.

Great food. Was very busy and had a long wait on food but we all had a great time.

Yhe food was exceptionally good. The food had great flavors. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The atmosphere was really laid back. You could either dine out side on the patio or inside the restaurant. We choose to dine on the patio outside.The inside had an old fashion feel all the way to the bathroom doors. I love the bathroom doors. They even have a grassy area that has beanbag toss. If my review was helpful please 🙏 hit the like button.

The staff here works hard to serve you. Pleasant mood makes for a great meal, clean tables, and plenty of seating

Fantastic service outstanding actually We sat out outside Great atmosphere. The food was phenomenal Very pleased with the prices two entrees two beers $50 and we both took food home Highly recommend!!

Carltons! Yes still cranking out good pizza. We went for a Friday lunch. Service was excellent and knowledgeable. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. The atmosphere was great on the patio especially on a crisp fall day. Unusual in this area in early September. Overall a great experience.
Since 2017 we’ve been back multiple times. They always have great food and friendly service. We love the dr blalock pizza or the calzone or just the Friday special- lasagna garlic bread and a side salad.

Carltons had expanded their outdoor dining area and it has the big fans for summer as well as plastic curtains and heaters for winter. Fabulous during spring and fall! Great anytime of year. Go early for outdoor seating.

This restaurant has so much charm and was decorated from many different forms of re-purposed items! For example, our booth table was an old door that was salvaged, the walls were decorated with an old, wood, gym floor from a school in Cullman, the pillars, doors, fixtures and ceiling were also repurposed and I found the ambiance to be an exceptionally warm and inviting! But the most important thing was the FOOD!!!!! I ordered a spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli and my husband ordered a calzone. My meal was soooooo good!!! I would have to say it was the best food I have had in months and my husband also agreed his was fantastic as well! I was a little worried when we got there because in the front window they had a sign that said they were hiring ALL positions and I thought we were going to be waiting awhile for a waitress and for our food. To our surprise, that was absolutely not the case at all! The server was very friendly. She refilled my glass several times. We didn't have to wait a long time for our order and the food was hot when it came to our table. The dishes we ordered were prepared with a "old world" recipe taste that was so exceptionally good!! The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful! Also, there was an outdoor area that was very inviting but we chose to sit inside. I will include pictures of everything so you can judge for yourself if you would like to go there. I found the prices to be very reasonable. They also had a small menu of wine and beer. A tip I would like to give: we went to dinner early (around 5:15pm). By the time we were done with our exceptional meals, the restaurant was packed with customers! If you want a seat, you have to go early! I feel this restaurant is one I won't forget for a long time! Fantastic food, charming, warm atmosphere and friendly staff! What more could you ask for? Enjoy!

So good it ain't funny... had the Crab Ravioli. But, my wife had the wedge salad, and I ate some of it, too. I'll be ordering it next time! It was very savory.

Always enjoy eating here! The food is always good and hot, and the service is great! Kyle was our server the last 2 times we ate here and he is awesome! He never lets your glass get empty and he's very personable, great work Kyle! See you again soon.😁

We ate at Carlton's tonight while visiting Cullman for the Christmas in Cullman festivities. Although Carlton's was not our first pick, I'm extremely glad that's where we ended up. The food and service was well above any Italian restaurant we have had.
Now to explain why we had to go to this "second choice". The first choice restaurant is a local restaurant as well but would only seat us on their uncovered patio, in the rain.... Yes... you read that correctly, an UNcovered patio IN THE RAIN. This was due to us having my service dog riding in a closed stroller with us. I won't name that restaurant because this review is not about them, it's about Carlton's.
The hostess at Carlton's was so sweet and apologetic for the experience we had at the other restaurant. We and my service dog were welcomed with open arms and seated quickly. Our waiter was very attentive, the food was wonderful and as we were leaving the hostess walked with me to the door and invited us and my service dog back anytime we were back in the area.
They are a local family owned business and deserve to be recognized for their commitment to out of town guests. More businesses should behave in this manner and could learn ALOT from this small family owned business...

Ordered Dr. Blalock special and pepperoni with double pepperoni and cheese,both well done. Pizzas were hot and absolutely delicious. Nothing beats Carlton's Pizza IMHO.

Carlton's has always been my favorite local restaurant in Cullman. It doesn't seem like it's as busy as it used to be, probably since Cullman has so many new nice restaurants, but the food is still great and the service was good.

This place is awesome. I had the ravioli and it was phenomenal. On top of that, quick service, and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. This was my first time here but I will be coming back the next time I am in town. I also had a piece of red velvet cake. This was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some good Italian food.
