Hands down the best place to get a kid's haircut. Everyone is nice and friendly. They are also very calm and patient with the kids when they are nervous. We always book with Alberina, she is amazing with my son!

First time being here. My son's haircut was $23 dollars. WORTH IT. The stylist that cut my child's hair was Ms. Donna. 20 years in experience. Was open and accepting to my son and his disability. She was straight forward, guiding me what to do to help with the haircut process. My son is autistic. Haircuts are hard. Ms. Donna worked her magic and the experience was so much better than his first time at a hair salon. I was able to sit with my son. That was so helpful. Ms. Donna praised my son for how well he did. She educated me with tips to help him. Professional and kind. So thankful for Pigtails and crewcuts! Staff was welcoming and professional. Clean salon. Masks are optional here.

Brought my daughter here for her 2nd haircut ever and Carmen did an amazing job. She was so patient with her 2yo sassyness. I highly recommend. Before her hair was wild and unruly.

We had a great first haircut experience today with Stella. I attempted to cut my 22 month old’s hair myself and wasn’t happy with the result. She listened to what style/ cut I wanted and did a great job!

We went for our first haircut for a child with very curly hair, and we could not have been happier. Everyone there was extremely friendly and Carmen did an absolutely fantastic job on our son's hair in what was a very smooth and enjoyable process. We cannot recommend their Glenview location enough!

We always book with Marina and have always been happy with the cut and service. After our latest appointment, I am compelled to write a review. Marina and and the receptionist, Jake, were welcoming, patient and kind to both me and my child with sensory sensitivities. They went above and beyond to make my child feel as comfortable as possible and it is beyond appreciated. Would 100% recommend.

I took our 2-year-old son to Pigtails & Crewcuts and he loved it. It was his first haircut. Marina was AMAZING. She greeted us right when we walked in and made certain she interacted with my son to warm him up to the experience. There are toys everywhere. We were in a fire truck chair and Marina had two trains in front of him. After the haircut Marina offered him a treasure out of the treasure chest & a treat. Great place, fantastic stylist. I recommend

I cant say enough good things about pigtails and crewcuts for your child's hair cut experience. I went to other salons for my children and left feeling dissatisfied with the service and quality of the cut. I don't live close to Glenview, but I will make the drive because our experience is always great! Marina, is wonderful and I highly recommend her. She is friendly and welcoming, patient, and knows how to engage and talk with the kids. My 1 year old has never cried at a haircut appointment. And her haircuts are always well done.
The price and drive (if you arent local) are worth it!!!

We had our first haircut here. It went great, we had Jen and she was great and quick. We paid for the first haircut package and although we didn't get the picture or frame we got a lock of his hair, I didn't realize we could have gotten the picture and frame until later after we left so that was on me. My toddler was able to sit on my lap to be more comfortable although the fun airplane and car chairs were also available. They had TVs playing kids movies so that he was distracted and entertained. Definitely will be coming for the next haircut.

Marina was so welcoming, friendly and amazing with my son. He gets scared during haircuts and she made the process so easy! We had fun playing and taking pictures after our haircut too! Definitely will be back to this great place!

Took my 6 year old here who always struggles with haircuts but Marina was amazing and made him feel calm and relaxed while she gave him the haircut. Will definitely be coming back to see her again. Thank you!

We love this place! This is our go to place for kids haircuts. After an average experience at a chain store that expected an 8 month old to wear a mask for her first haircut, we tried this place.
The staff has been super friendly and very family friendly. Plus it’s easier to make appts for both my kids here too!

My son gets scared of noises and people touching his hair. We got his hair cut a year ago and it was so rough we just let it go and fell in love with his long hair. It was time for a change and a cut and with all the amazing reviews I wanted to give P&C a try! Oh My! Jaime was a magician with my son! She gave us so many tips and tricks! He was scared to sit in the fun car chairs but she had in sit in my lap facing me with no cape. She said this way he does not see her or himself in the mirror and the cape can scare them as well. She was so gentle and warm! Through the tears and some screams she worked with my husband and I to keep him calm. She even thanked US for helping! The place is so fun with toys and the cars it made him comfortable as well. My daughter was occupied looking at all the beautiful bows and toys while her brother got a haircut. 100% recommend this place! All the staff was great but Jaime was extra special! Thank You Pigtails and Crewcuts for an amazing visit! We cant wait to come back!

I got a "dad's cut" while my son sat in an airplane-shaped seat next to me, and my daughter waited in a comfy chair next to him where she could see all the action. We were done within 30 minutes, and they styled my son's hair with "dinosaur horns" which made him very happy. Both haircuts were really good, and prices were very reasonable all considered. On the way home, even my daughter said, "I like that place." That could have had something to do with the fact that they gave the kids lollipops!
