Best Hot dogs around. Bring back memories of the 80s with the mom and pop buger joint. The super dog is my fave. Get it with a chocolate malt. It's hard to beat. It's definitely a must eat at place. You won't regret it. The Orange shake is pretty fantastic also. I have made myself hungry.

Small local place with crazy parking when it's busy. Got three foot longs, super, chili cheese, and chili with slaw. Chili was my favorite and it beats Sonic foot long chili cheese. The strawberry milk shake was the best thing, so good. Get it when you go here.

Just what I was looking for in a chili dog. This place has maybe the best chili dog I've had. 4 generations and over 70 years. They are obviously doing something right.

I've been a customer here for over 35 years and it's STILL my favorite place. Sadly, it's one of the very few original places still open in Opelika. Thank you, Bob and Rhonda for continuing the legacy of love your family so graciously shared with us❣

Mrs. Story's dairy bar is exactly what you would expect from a roadside soft serve place that's got hot dogs, chips, and sodas. This isn't gourmet, this is old school comfort. We didn't partake in any ice cream on this visit but partook in the footlong hot dogs. The hot dogs are pretty mild in flavor, so I do recommend getting many of the topping combinations they offer.

Love this place. Easily the best chili dogs in the Auburn/Opelika area. If you haven’t been you’re missing out also great milkshakes too. Best part is this is one of few places around you can get a great meal for a great price!

Not a fancy restaurant but simple and absolutely delicious hot dogs and other treats which you order from a counter. In particular, we love their chili which reminds us of the older hot dog places in downtown Birmingham. Otherwise, this place is very popular with locals and so be prepared to wait in line but the service is usually quick and well worth it!

Maaaan, these footlong chilli dogs though, when I come home this is definitely my first stop very time. Has been a staple in my childhood for as long as I can remember. It used to be one in my actual hometown of Tuskegee many moons ago, lol. Thank you for the tradition and the memories!!!!!

Great chili Slaw dogs. Busy on weekends. If you want a good hot dog, this is where you go around here. Good malt milkshakes too. Great for kids & grandkids!

I've enjoyed sundaes here for more than 60 years! Took a friend from Lagrange Ga who had never been! Dining alfresco it was just like the bistros in Paris. It was fabulous. Merci...Merci!

Old timey milk shakes and chili dogs. If anyone remembers "Sani-Freeze", the chili dogs are pretty close and would bring back fond memories. The Story's and the Hunt's came into business roughly within a few years of each other (1952 & 1960). Try the chocolate hot fudge milkshake and a footlong chili dog.
