TownePlace Suites by Marriott Auburn University Area

We came in for a wedding yesterday, every time we walked by the front desk we were spoken to. Late last night Waffle House forgot to give us syrup for our chocolate chip waffles after being asked if they did. The young lady at the front desk took care of us by filling a cup up with syrup, we will definitely stay here the next time we are in town. Great service, customer first service!! Thanks

Great location- close to AU and rooms were very clean. More importantly, Talisa provided excellent customer service. She greeted us with a warm welcome, was very friendly, professional and extremely accommodating.
EDIT: On our second night, we also had the pleasure of meeting Jasmine! She was super sweet and really went above and beyond to help us when we realized we had forgotten something at home.

Great place to stay, conveniently located close to campus. Andi is awesome. She always greets you with a smile!

Good place to stay! Recommend if looking to stay someplace comfortable, convenient and clean. Room included a mini kitchen (2 electric burner, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sink, utensils and necessities), perfect place to settle in and cook or relax. The rooms do offer a lot but do feel rather packed in due to the amount of items within them, but it is all in a comfortable atmosphere of a relax unit. Location is near university and surrounding growing community of restaurants, shops, etc. Would recommend a stay and a drive/walk around area.

Our hotel room was amazing (1 queen bed + 1 pull out). It was super modern with 2 TVs that both worked. It had a small stove, dishwasher, full-size fridge, and a microwave. The A/C worked extremely well. Everything was clean and organized when we arrived. There were outlets EVERYWHERE! So convenient. The complimentary breakfast was great and they had a laundry room to use. I did not use the pool, but it's there! I also saw that a room was available for individuals that need accommodations (hard-of-hearing /deaf/blind) which I thought was really cool. The staff was super nice. Yeah, it was awesome. I recommend it highly.

Everyone here was very friendly and service-oriented. Went out of their ways to make a point to greet you and wish you a nice day. The hotel is well-maintained and in a great location if you are visiting for Auburn University or want to be near downtown.

This place is truly amazing. My mom is handicap, and anytime we stay at a hotel, it's a struggle. Usually things aren't actually up to ADA code and she needs a lot of assistance.

But not this place. This place has amazing handicap accessible rooms. There are rooms with full kitchens and it's pretty affordable. The staff is amazing. They help mom with whatever she wants no problem, and they are all so sweet to her and always want to know how she is doing.

This place is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Mom has stayed here 4-5 times now over the past few years, and it will continue to be the place we stay at when we visit Auburn.

I cannot recommend it enough. This is the only affordable hotel in Auburn you should ever stay in.

We came in yesterday and it has been wonderful. Everyone is so nice and accomadating. The place is beautiful. Breakfast was amazing! We are here til Saturday. My daughter is doing Drum Major Camp at the University! This will definitely be our go to place when we come back down!

This is a lovely, new hotel with an outstanding staff. We chose it because they allowed us to bring our small Sheltie puppy. Upon arrival he was offered a variety of dog treats. The room was clean and comfortable with a separate living area, fully equipped kitchenette, small desk area and two closets. The staff is the very definition of "southern hospitality" -- kind and caring. We highly recommend this hotel.

For once I didn't have time for a reservation before going to Auburn. It was a last minute travel request and I literally got the last room available. The lady was very nice on the phone. She was able to accommodate me even though the area was mostly sold out due to a conference being held on campus. Other than the friendly staff, the room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived as evacuees from South Florida and the staff could not have been any nicer. EVERY single staff member was amazing from the moment we booked 3 rooms. Mary was so very helpful every night and we felt like FAMILY from the moment we arrived.. I wanted to move in and have the staff as our neighbors :). Breakfast was a real treat every morning. I am sorry I did not catch the Tall Gentleman's name that worked so very hard to make us feel at home. Rarely have we stayed at a hotel that every detail was well thought out. I love the shower so much that my husband (Mr Wonderful) took pictures and will redo my 1960 Blue bathroom just like yours. :) We would even consider returning to Auburn just to stay at the #Towneplace Suites by Marriott Auburn. FYI its 10 hours away from us. Thank you again for creating your amazing team and facility. The best part was our puppy dogs could stay.

My wife stayed two nights there leaving from the hurricane. This staff bent over backwards to accommodate all of the people there in the same boat as we were. The service was outstanding and the warm hospitality was a much needed and appreciated gesture. This entire staff needs to know what great impact they make on the on the people they serve. Located right next to a Starbucks coffee and within short driving distance of central Auburn and stores. Very clean rooms and common areas. Professional and friendly staff. Rooms are kept clean and neat. Was surprised at the closet in the room. Breakfast was nice including variety of cooked eggs, bread, and waffles.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. They are wonderfully pet friendly, and extremely helpful. I forgot a few things when I checked out, and they called me to let me know. When I arrived to pick them up, they had everything wrapped nicely.

I am happy when I spend my money well. Staying here was well worth it. I was impressed with the amount of space in my two bedroom suite; its an apartment actually and not an efficiency. I will look for TownePlace Suites in other cities and the brand will certainly be my home away from home going forward.

Excellent hotel for business or pleasure. In spite of some technical issues with the television the staff was quick to respond and get me moved to a new room. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Hotel parking is free. Although much closer to Auburn than most hotels it’s about a 20 minute walk to the football stadium

The place was great, we had an issue with our original room at first, but when we spoke with the lady at the front desk she was very kind and instead of having us wait to have it fixed she just put us in a whole new room which was really nice! Will definitely be back again!

Great place, is a basic hotel with a great location ... near downtown, Starbucks, books store, Walmart and Restoran’s! Very secure neighborhood.

The space at the room is fine, have the basic to cook and to refrigerated. Due to covid they have less cleaning personal so the cleaning room service is each week. But if you need more coffee, paper towel or change towels you can do that in the front.

Front attention is well, the guys try to give you all that you need despite the loss of staff due to covid.

They don't speak Spanish, this is a trouble if you don't speak English. By the way, the breakfast is basic not big deal, due to covid have a few tables to eat there or you can take to go to your room.

they Have a little pool, I not used it because is winter. they Have a little gym open 24 h, have the half machines working due to social distance.

We stayed here before an Auburn football game and the mission was great! The hotel was very clean and the rooms had plenty of space. It is across the street from a J&M bookstore. There was also a Starbucks out front. The breakfast at the hotel was your usual hotel breakfast.

I am a loyal Marriott rewards member, so nearly always stay at Marriotts when traveling. This was the nicest TownePlace Suites I have stayed at - clearly very new with all new features. At check-in, I was complementarily upgraded due to my membership. The only problem during the stay was another guest whose car alarm kept going off at about 11 PM. I finally spoke to the front desk, they said they were aware and taking care of it, and shortly after the alarm stopped for good.
