Holiday Inn Express & Suites Prospect Heights, an IHG Hotel

Everything was wonderful from the beginning to end of our stay. We liked the pancake machine, so much easier than dealing with the waffle maker, IMO. The hotel is on the bus route and across the street from a few stores. Jennifer, the front desk attendant, was such a pleasure. She actually went above and beyond, making sure we enjoyed our family trip even beyond the hotel. Jennifer offered advice that I took into consideration while visiting downtown Chicago. I would definitely stay here again.

Room 502 was the best! We didn't hear another person the whole time, like we had the hotel to ourselves till we went for breakfast and it was full. Clean hotel, nice breakfast, quick check-in and quiet.

Very nice hotel. Standard Holiday inn Express breakfast, which was good. Exceeded my expectations for the fitness room! Multiple machines and a full weight rack! Very happy with that. Room was clean and no issues.

Our experience was great, clean rooms, extra comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Breakfast was wonderful, very well attended and stocked. Pleasant and professional staff. The only negative was Exterior noise, but you can't control that.

The rooms are super clean. The breakfast is really good. Everyday it has something different with the eggs. It met my expectations.

Most impressed by the level of professional service given to each guest throughout our 3 night stay. The staff did their very best to ensure guests' special requests were met with the highest level of service. Clearly management and senior staff have not only trained their staff very well, but they also set the benchmark high with their own actions and words. Most impressive! Congrats Holiday Inn Express!

The hotel was in a convenient location. It was about a 15 minute drive to O'Hare. The drive into Chicago was about 30 minutes. We arrived early to our hotel and the staff let us check in early. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of on-site parking in the back of the building which has key card access. The elevator did not have long wait times, which I was thankful for. The room was very clean, however the first few days the hallways were not vacuumed and were quite messy. The elevators need to be mopped more frequently as well since there were two days of coffee spilled on the floors. The room had a refrigerator that was decent sized, only wish it had a freezer area inside. There was also a microwave in the room. The AC worked great and kept the room at a cool 69 degrees, which was lovely after coming inside from the terrible heat we experienced while visiting.

The surrounding are was very quiet. There are food options very close, including the next parking lot over.

I experienced a flight cancellation as I was getting ready to check out and the staff was excellent about letting us stay in the room past check out while I figured out what my plan was. When I needed to re-book the room again for that night, they were accommodating and had me re-book on hotels.com and checked me back into the same room immediately.

I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for 1 night for a baseball tournament in the area. The hotel was comfortable and quiet, the staff was friendly and they even opened breakfast for our team a little early. For those looking for a pool, this hotel does not have one. Which was no issue for us, as we knew this during booking but want to make sure those with kids are aware. We would stay here again.

The room was super clean and pretty!!! Went to get our complimentary breakfast and were greeted by an amazing lady called Lana! She put out fresh bacon, sweet rolls and was just very friendly! Amazing hard working people who care is always a plus! I am a very picky person when it comes to service. An A+ to Lana. She cares.

This Holiday Inn has amazed me on how wonderful their service was. My family and I stayed at this hotel for over a week. I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied and happy I was that I chose to stay here. I have been to many Holiday Inn's in the states, but the staff was unmatched here at the Prospect Heights Holiday Inn.

One of them stood out, her name is Tzvetana H. (Lana). Every morning, Lana would greet you and treat you like family when you have your breakfast. I looked forward to waking up and being treated the way she did every single day. She made my family and I feel like home away from home. If all Holiday Inn Hotels had a "Lana" within their staff, they would all get 5 stars reviews!

Once again IHG did not let me down. Staff was nice and check in and out was a breeze. The housekeepers never knocked on my door and let me sleep in peace (im a late sleeper). Theu had my brand of green tea and a great patio to sit and enjoy it. There is a beer store and a great sports bar within walking distance. I WILL be back when coming through again. Thanks!!!!!

The staff was kind and helpful, the shuttle was right on time, and the breakfast was surprisingly tasty! I really loved the associate at the front desk when we arrived; she was wonderful!

This hotel is probably one of the cleanest ones I've stayed at in a long long time. It's either a newly remodeled hotel or they've kept extremely good care of it. The staff is friendly and eager to help, they have good covid policies they're following. And procedures they've put in place. The only complaint is hot breakfast isn't served due to covid19, but we know it's the same across different chains. We would like to see that returned. Theres other buffets open, so I'm not sure why hotels are still not serving hot breakfast, besides the costs it saves.

Lana, the lady who is in charge of breakfast is such an amazing and professional human! She makes sure breakfast area is clean and stocked up and serves hot breakfast! She provides excellent customer service! She needs to be promoted to be a manager.

Had great experience. Highly recommended for those who seeking hotel near to airport. Staffs are nice. Serves hot breakfast. Loved our stay.

Very happy with my stay here. The front desk called an hour after check-in to make sure everything was good with the room. The room had a lot of very nice touches that you can tell they added to ensure your stay is pleasant such USB plugs in all of their outlets in the sleeping area, a night light built-in to the light switch of the bathroom, a lamp with a universal power outlet for out-of-country guests, etc. Even the key you just press against the lock instead of inserting it in a slot so it's easier. The styling is very modern. The bed is a very comfortable Serta bed where you get a great night's sleep. 24-hr use of the gym is included. Breakfast is too, which had a very good variety of oatmeal, cereal, fruits, biscuits and gravy, toast, waffles, eggs and omelettes. I usually hear running water when another room is showering or people walking in the hallway in other hotels. But, not here. The only caveat is the road noise. Make sure to ask for a room away from the main road.

Park, sleep & fly was a great value for our money. We appreciate the shuttle to & from the airport. Everything went smooth.

This hotel has restored my faith in Holiday Inn!! It was beautiful and clean! The bed were comfortable. The staff was helpful and polite. The hotel is ccovient to the expressway, a small strip mall, and plenty of places to eat. Great experience. Thank you!!

This hotel was an amazing find! Rooms are clean with the most comfortable new beds, grounds are well kept and the breakfast is great.

The hotel room was roomy and comfortable, and the front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was indeed back to buffet style.

Hotel staff took IHG COVID-19 policies serious. Excellent all around.
