Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar

Absolutely fantastic! Maria was our server and she did an excellent job. Made sure all of us were well attended to. We came here for restaurant week menu and we were completely AMAZED by how delicious everything was. Well-sized food portion and great flavor. In DC it’s hard to come by a restaurant that gives you, your moneys worth for the food. WILL FOREVER COME BACK.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! We had a 3-course meal. The food and service was on point. Our server Eddy was very attentive and friendly to what we needed!!! I highly recommend this place for all occasions. Well worth it! Will definitely come back!!

Great service from Eduardo! He is attentive, warm, patient with helping us recommend dishes from the menu with detailed explanations. He provided excellent service. Had the sample cerivache and found the fish fresh but there’s a strong lime taste in them. The roasted chicken skewers were great! Atmosphere is nice and lively due to the bustling activity. This is a popular place with crowds at 3.30pm

If you're worried this will be out of your comfort zone, let me allay your fears. It's delicious! Not too spicy or fatty, perfectly balanced. We ordered a steak skewer, a beef dish with rice and onions, and a fish and calamari dish with rice and a light sauce. We probably could have gotten one appetizer and one main and split. The main portions are pretty generous. Cocktails were really fun! I liked the sours a lot, not too sweet.

Service was excellent. Raul our server, took time to explain the menu (because we're novices to Peruvian food) and was always there just when we needed him. All his recommendations were awesome.

Atmosphere is energetic with date night lighting. You could bring kids, but I probably wouldn't. Not sure about parking.

We were able to get a later evening reservation night of on Saturday.

Been here New Years Eve for 4 years in a row for our anniversary, and my boyfriend and I are excited every time. The food is always cooked perfectly and the pisco sours and desserts are always delicious. We’ve had great service and enjoy the atmosphere as well.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pisco y Nazca, and I must say, it was a truly outstanding experience! The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with precision and bursting with flavor. The ambiance created the perfect atmosphere, striking a balance between cozy and elegant.

A special shout-out to our server, Christian, who went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor added a delightful touch to our dining experience.

We were taken in before our reservation. This place is beautiful and has a very nice Latin atmosphere. The food is extremely tasty. I've been to other people Peruvian restaurants and I can tell with confidence this is above the beyond. The service is fastx effective and attentive. Our server Oscar R was a great host and solved all our doubts and request. The lobster ceviche off the menu he suggested wowow! A delicacy worth every penny. Definitely we will come back for another special ocasion. We order pescado a lo macho and the tacu seco de cordero. Espectacular!

Definitely the best Peruvian restaurant I have been to, in terms of both taste and value. Given what things cost these days, I cannot believe the Pescado A Lo Macho only cost $25.50. Great portion size and variety of seafood. It also included the best yucca fries I've had and everything tasted amazing with the sauce. The Aji de Gallina Empanadas appetizer was delicious as well, once again with the sauce being the star of the show. Finally, the Tacu Secu de Cordero (lamb shank) was also great value at $30. Great portion and the lamb was very tender. I would say the taste was very good, but maybe slightly too salty, not quite at the amazing standard of the other two dishes.

In the experience we only had one slight negative. I would say we are pretty low maintenance diners and we weren't in need of our waitress much, as a large jug of water was provided in the beginning. However, we definitely noticed the waitress came to check on us less than other places. Not a big deal for us, but may be for others.

Finally, we came for a late lunch between 2-230pm and the restaurant was still pretty busy. They had room for us no problem, but would recommend making a reservation if coming during peak times as I would imagine the restaurant is quite busy then, deservedly so.

Reservations made, arrived early and seated early. Our waiter Hugo was excellent. He made great suggestions as it was our first visit. Service from wait staff, to servers and bussers was quick and very pleasant. Drinks were tasty and food was super.

Delicious Peruvian dishes & great atmosphere. Can’t go wrong with a maracuya (passion fruit) sour 🍹 this is the chef special pork with honey sauce over fried rice. Our server Jaime was attentive and pleasant to be around as well!

We went here for the late Valentines Day dinner and it was fantastic! We couldn’t believe the amount of food we get for the price. Additionally, the service was quick and friendly especially our server Eddy. I would highly recommend a pisco sour,the ceviche and the bistec a la pobre.

4th time having brunch and it didn't disappoint. Had the prix fixe brunch including the empanadas, crepes de aji de gallina, lomo saltado, avocado toast (yum), blue berry pancakes, and alfajor pancakes (my favorite).

I love each and every visit I’ve made to Pisco y Nazca! After having been there to celebrate work functions, a birthday and now date night - I can honestly say that it’s a great venue for all occasions.

The food is always freshly prepared, beautifully plated and delicious.

This last visit, Carlyle was our server and we could not have been happier with the service. He was super attentive, knew the menu, ingredients and serving of each dish very well; we got great recommendations on what to order for our palettes and most importantly he made the dining experience that much more elevated.

Menu wise, as it’s a Peruvian restaurant you would be remiss if you didn’t try their amazing ceviche. I would recommend getting the sampler and trying the variety of options that they have available 🤤 All around great dining experience and I can’t wait to visit again.

The place in general was great. The food was delicious. Our waiter Andrés was particularly helpful and kind; we had a multilingual party and he was willing to speak in both English and Spanish.

OMG. First I would like to say that this is my second time here and I feel like it was my first. Our waiter Hugo was amazing. He was extremely attentive to us providing his opinion on what we would enjoy. Every dish he recommended was amazing. When I say it felt like my first time, I was blown away. The drinks and food was out of this world. Highly recommend. And ask for Hugo. He's the best.

Everything was perfect! The Food was delicious! The cocktails were sooo tasty! High Quality food in DC for a good price. One special highlight to Eduardo, Who was taking care of our table, and gave us such an special attention the whole evening. Muchas Gracias, Eduardo!

First time here and the food is top tier! I had the pescado a lo macho and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Had a 2 appetizers and they came out pretty fast. Our server Jamie was super helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely ask for him if you decide to come in! Overall it was a 10/10 experience will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends/family!

Nice atmosphere. Great food. Fast service. Highly recommend making reservations in advance because even on a Monday night, it was pretty busy.

We tried the ceviche sampler and they were amazing. Next time I would order more ceviche. Our entrees also were delicious and authentic. Will definitely return!
