Gallagher's Restaurant

Went here for dinner with a girlfriend of mine before going back home and it was a great end to my visit! The food was amazing tasting and the menu was very diverse with many yummy options.

The clam chowder had great flavor but was a little thinner than most chowders. I prefer mine a little thicker so it sticks to the bread better. Not a huge deal but my preference. The flatbread was another tasty option but it definitely needed more protein than what was given…or smaller pieces of protein spread out more evenly on the flatbread. The scallop entree was amazing for sure but only three scallops and for the price there really should be four or five at the very least. Fancy plating can’t hide lack of protein. 🤷🏻‍♀

The prime baseball sirloin was probably my favorite. The portion size was much better than the scallop dish and it was super flavorful. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. Definitely recommend.

The crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect ending to dinner. I didn’t even think I wanted dessert but I’m glad my friend wanted to get something to share…it hit the spot!

The service was so wonderful. I forgot the name of our server but he was a younger brunette man…kind, efficient, and knew his stuff about the food. The young blonde lady who assisted the server bussing dishes, filling waters, etc. was also super sweet with tons of personality! Great staff. Meal was paced really well by the kitchen, too.

The atmosphere is straight out of a Gatsby-like imagination. Super sleek and cool harkening 1920’s style…and I loved it.

Great place in a very cute town. Gallaghers is fantastic. The building is beautiful inside and out. We had a seasonal pork belly appetizer which was incredible. The cocktails were really well done. Especially the old fashioned. The jalapeño grits and summer risotto were awesome. We will be going back.

I drove an hour for the all-you-can-eat fried chicken dinner and had a great experience. I made a reservation for 11:00 AM when they opened. I was surprised when the hostess led me to an elevator to get to the second floor; it was a fun little experience.

My server, Travis, was amazing. He was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. He very much reminded me of the voice actor, Troy Baker.

The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. They start you off with a wing, drumstick, thigh, and breast and then ask you later if you want more. I wanted to save room for dessert, so I just stuck with my four pieces. That was plenty! They had peach cobbler for dessert, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

All in all, I’m glad I took myself on this fancy little date. I would come back again.

It had been several years since I had eaten here (about 5 to 10 years) and our meal was amazing. The restaurant had been renovated since the last time we were here. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. Our server was great and very attentive to us and our needs. The food was amazing. I got the salmon and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. I really like the grit cake that the salmon was served on. The fried green beans were really good. My wife got the baseball sirloin and it was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth.

The last time we visited was to have the Sunday Family style fried chicken dinner and that was really good. They kept on top of the fried chicken and fixings.

We got there about 7:30PM on a Saturday and it was pretty busy - would recommend calling ahead to get your name on the wait list. We were seated upstairs, but don't worry they have an elevator if you are unable to climb stairs, there are also restrooms on the respective floors, so you won't have to go to the main floor to use the restroom.

The restaurant is kid friendly and very casual. They do have a full service bar as well.

Everything was good!!! The whole meal and our bottle of wine was wonderful! Such a perfect valentines meal.

Yay! They brought back the classic whiskey sour! The remodel looks amazing. We sat at a table on the main floor. I love the design. The ceiling is gorgeous. Our meals were great. Sea bass is on the regular menu, which I love. The service was excellent. I'm definitely returning.

We had an amazing experience. The steak was cooker perfectly and our bartender Bekka was on it. We sat at the bar for food, and our glasses never once were empty. She is one of the best!

Food was delicious, venue itself is incredibly welcoming, and the staff are always amazing. Bekka always is extremely attentive and makes sure to make the experience as perfect as she can. Never once had a bad meal here.

Newly renovated and great atmosphere. The food is excellent. A must go to place. Update: We go often. Went back again tonight and had an amazing steak. Worth the drive from St Louis. Must go to place.

If in 'The Loo' Gallagher's is a must. Everything we ordered was presented perfectly, the service was very good. We would come back for just the bread and burgers. The ceasar salad was very unique and served with real bacon bits which gave it great flavor. Enjoyed the Gumbo as well. Definitely returning and next time will try to save room for dessert.

Incredible! The remodel and rework of the menu were well worth the wait. The restaurant is really cool and trendy but classy too. I loved the central bar and the lighting. Food was great and very filling.

The building is beautifully renovated, upscale-comfy. We sat by a window on a wintry snowy night.
Our dinners were perfect after a delicious beet salad. My scallops were nicely done and seemed fresh, a smaller serving that was rich and filling, served with a pumpkin sauce. Cindy's salmon was moist and nicely seasoned.
The evening was nice , and Amber was a chatty and efficient server.

Brandi has increased the quality of food far above recent years! They have done a great job letting her take the reins and improve quality while maintaining pricing. stop in for a great meal with a great atmosphere!!

Went in a couple Thursdays ago to get a burger! Best burger ever! After that we ordered desserts and Brandy’s crème caramel was the most delicious! Thanks!

This was a 4 course Valentines Day dinner. All plates had a nice presentation and good flavor. Service was timely and appropriate. Atmosphere was perfect for the occasion with a wandering minstrel topping off the ambiance. We appreciate the effort presented by Gallaghers and will return again and again!

Beautiful building, extremely professional wait staff and the food was delicious. A GEM. Perfect for a special occasion but wasn't too intimidating or stuffy for an every day dining experience. Love the elevator!

We arrived before the lunch crowd did so it wasn't very crowded . We sat at the bar the bartender was great . Very helpful in suggesting her menu favorites.
I had the signature burger . Very good . Burger was seasoned very well if not aggresive for some . The fries were blah . Soggy potatoes without much seasoning .
My son had the candied bacon BLT. It was also very good . Lot of bread to bacon ration but still good .
We also had the fried zucchini for an appetizer. It was also great and came in a larger than expected portion size .
