Joe and Onie's

After my favorite café in Belleville closed, I tried out Joe and Onie's and quickly became a regular as they make the best version of my favorite drink compared to any other café. The staff and owners are eager to please, accommodating most any request.

I tried a variation of my favorite drink today, the gingersnap chai latte, and it was even better than the normal chai latte.

I almost always order the breakfast sandwich on ciabatta with bacon. The spicy aioli and Sriracha marmalade make this sandwich stand out from any other breakfast sandwich I've tried on Main Street. I'm also always satisfied with the price. You get a lot of bang for your buck and will find yourself spending more on less quality anywhere else.

There's a corner with a keyboard stand for live music. My friend told me she spent a Sunday morning there listening to live music, but I've never been while someone was playing. I also noticed during my most recent visit that they have a wall of local art for sale. Can't ask for much more than stellar food, service, and a business supporting locals.

They won the Belleville Chili Cook-off this year, so I'll be back soon to try that!

Such a great café owned by fantastic people! The inside is so cozy and inviting! I have gone a few times and the coffee is fantastic! The turkey brie sandwich and the breakfast burrito with the sriracha marmalade are to die for! Couldn’t recommend more!

Cute little coffee shop with kind employees. Very family oriented - Steve (owner) is a cutie ! 😊 I recommend the brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk. My sweetheart enjoyed the white chocolate raspberry mocha w/oat milk. The chocolate chip cookie was really good (pic shows how much was left).

My only complaint is that I didn't discover this place sooner! Delicious food and lovely staff. My Chai latte was probably one of the best I've had! And the fritatta was perfectly portioned and so yummy!

This is a great place for breakfast or lunch in downtown Belleville. The food is high quality, and he service is impeccable. You can order online and pick up if you are in a rush. Close proximity to the county courts makes this a great spot for people on jury duty to get out and stretch their elgs for a bit while getting a bite to eat. Highly recommend the beef and cheddar!

I loveeee the Lucky Charms latte, the staff is super fun to chat with and to order from. It’s family run and they really care about customer feedback ☕

My partner and I try to visit every weekend for a morning coffee and latte. The staff there are always friendly. The food and drinks are the best.

Had lunch there today with my girlfriend. The chicken salad sandwich was GREAT. Everything was great. Had Broccoli-cheddar soup all really good. 5 stars is not enough. Girl at the counter was sweet. 0

I stopped in as a first time customer and was blown away. This cute as a button shop had the kindest and most helpful staff. They happily answered all of my questions with big smiles on their faces. I went with the Snickerdoodle Latte and WOW! It was delicious. I also snagged a bacon breakfast burrito that did not disappoint. I will definitely be back to try more delicious goodies.

Great food, coffee, and deserts!! Everyone is friendly too! There's no reason to go to the chain coffee / sandwich shops when you can purchase from a local business where the money stays here. Oh, and their chili won in the 2022 chili cook-off!!! I placed a large order and, unlike what happens so often at chain stores, it was completely accurate!

Really glad I found this place! I had a turkey & brie sandwich yesterday for lunch and a cup of their dark roast coffee. Sandwich was delicious and the coffee was top quality. Looking forward to the next time.

Sooooo delicious cookies, coffee breakfast sandwiches. I had a Great experience my son did as well. Very homie vibe and the staff was very nice. I could easily cain 10lbs off the cookies alone!!

This is my second visit here and the staff have been wonderful both times. I’m always looking for new local faves and was thrilled to have Joe and Onie’s staff be so kind. I had a dozen questions about their lattes and not once did they hesitate to help me craft my perfect beverage. Their sandwiches are the real show stoppers here.
I was also lucky enough to meet Onie who was enjoying a cup of coffee herself. We talked for a few minutes about random things and I left feeling like I found a new fave spot in downtown Belleville.

Adorable family friendly coffee shop! The workers were wonderful and service fast. There was even live music on this Saturday morning that my friend and I attended. It was a lovely experience and will definitely go again.

Just had lunch and a coffee here and it was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly I felt like I was at my own home. They had music playing and it was perfect spot to work from during my lunch break. The sandwich I got was amazing and they had such a variety of coffee options to choose from. I will definitely be coming back anytime I am in town!

Traveling to St. Louis for a few days, we stayed in Belleville. We wanted a good breakfast before setting out, and this hit the spot! Great service, welcoming, and delicious food. Coffee was great too!

I'm not from the area so I wanted to show a local joint some love. I stopped by one day about 15 mins before close (didn't realize what time they closed). I had no idea what I wanted. Told them I loved oat milk and brown sugar. They whipped me up exactly what I was looking for an it tasted phenomenal! Super nice and super delicious spot! ☕ Would highly recommend!
