Food was good. The sweet potatoes were the best I’ve ever had! Everything else was good as well. I had the smothered pork chops, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and fried corn. (Yes, a lot lol) my man had the catfish and fries. Everything was on point. I don’t mind waiting for good food. Plus I had plenty of leftovers!

Food is great! I ordered 2 catfish filets, Mac and cheese and green beans. The cat was crispy and seasoned, Mac and cheese was homemade, not a box blend and the green beans tasted like something your granny would make. I couldn't finish it all and I've got a hefty appetite. I'll definitely be going back!

This place is always busy and worth the wait times some. Everything on the menu is a hit. You can not miss. This is a family business and they make everything love. Each dish is perfectly seasoned. Thank you for giving me a home on the road.

This is soul food for sure! I ordered the smothered pork chops with cabbage and sweet potatoes. It came with a piece of sweet cornbread and then I got a side of fried okra. Everything was delicious and fresh, packed with flavor! Tasted like home

If you aren't eating here you are really missing out. The fish is fresh and crispy, the cornbread is delicious and before to long they will know me by name. They will definitely have my business for sure. Thanks ladies for the great customer service, good food and getting me full.

This was my first time here. I ordered the shrimp dinner with mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. It was AMAZING! The mac and cheese was bomb! The shrimp was well seasoned. The yams were made with love. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I’m from stl and I work at memorial hospital in Belleville and let me tell you the food was so good I didn’t wanna share with my kids let me tell my oldest daughter not big on soul food but she loved it best hands down and I have never ever left a review before 5 stars on everything service food etc…..

Jesse’s is a new soul food restaurant that I had to try, and I was not disappointed. I was able to get their lunch special (catfish) and some wings. It was all fresh, crispy, and delicious.

I will definitely return!

~ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Better than any other Soul Food restaurant I've had, and I'VE HAD PLENTY. I would say average price, especially at the going rate for food. You get your money's worth. I have bought dinner plates for several people and sent my Mom & Pastor there and THEY LOVED IT. It's the smothered pork chops/cabbage/Fried Green Tomatoes for me...YOU GET ENOUGH (2 chops/satisfying amount sides). CLEAN and Highly Recommend~

Hey this place got the soul food you been looking for, it’s my first time but I’m impressed I only went to sample the chitterlings but I also bought the buffaloes fish sandwich banana pudding.

My only disappointment was they’re cowboys fans and I’m a Eagles fan.
But she prepares food so far so great =9.5

The ladies took care of us, made us feel important. ❤ Everything was great! Literally nothing disappointed.
Highlights: Great wings! Smothered turkey is out of this world! You have to finish with the banana pudding! All sides were great. The secret spice blend sets them apart.

Then I saw the huge amount of food!

My first visit I had Swai & Wing combo and added Shrimp. My sides Greens, Fried Corn and added Macaroni n Cheese. I must say there is enough food for 3 and was hot and everything was so good and seasoned to perfection. Customer Service was on point. I am so happy I was told about this place. Sunday they have Oxtails but I still have leftovers from today to eat tomorrow.

The food was so good and nice serving sizes. I had the oxtails, greens and mac& cheese and it comes with hot water cornbread. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The hot water cornbread was even good and i don't normally like it. I suggest calling in your order because there was a long wait.

Best soul food around I try to go every 2 weeks my favs are buffalo fish spaghetti yams greens cabbage smothered turkey & dressing very friendly sisters professional it is worth the wait for me & I love the quotes on the wall thank u for all u do will be supporting your business

Really great food. Amount of food plated is fabulous!!!! The owners are very nice .very welcoming. Will return for sure. Please stop in and have a bite or two. You will not be disappointed.

Today was my first time eating at this restaurant, the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The customer service was very friendly, my only complaint is that I needed two cranberry sauces for both meals. Highly recommend!
