Rachel's Cafe & Deli

Was in town today & we stopped in for a sandwich. It was excellent! The guys here were very friendly & very knowledgeable about the neighborhood. We had a great conversation with them. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood. I marked it in my Google Maps because i plan on returning next time im close by.

Wow the flood here is amazing! The portions are big and the food is very tasty. This is traditional Italian food that mom used to make. You gotta try this place. The staff and owner are great too and the podtions are generous!

They got a 💣 on the sub sandwichies . I been living in the area for about 4 years and finally check them out . I got a American Sub with Hot peppers , Oil & Vinegar and it was delicious 😋

Ok, I went in for the first time to get a turkey sandwich and I have to say I loved the fresh taste 😋 the sandwich was damn near perfect, the right amount of everything the sandwich was well balanced I could taste all the flavors of the turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. If you want a fresh sandwich stop by you won't regret it.

I have to say the Italian beef is good taste, like home made, if that’s what you looking for. Home made that’s the taste. Got to have it.

I just tried a slice of their sausage pizza. It was great! The fresh tomato bits, fresh sausage, perfect-flavored crust and overall flavor made for a fantastic lunch. Next time I'll try other items. Also, nice service. I like this place.

Took me a while to stop in, but the sandwiches are the best in Berwyn, as far as I know. The owners are characters, very charming. Definitely will be a sandwich I crave from time to time. The bread had a good crunch, the mayo was not heavy like Mr. Submarine (I have no problem with a lot of mayo, I love you Mr. Submarine). Stop being a weirdo and try these sandwiches already, will you? The sandwiches are like your dad or older brother would make when your mom wasn’t around.

My fiancé and I drove by here and decided to stop and try Rachel’s deli! they where so welcoming when we came in! he got the beef which he loved and i got the Italian sandwich it was so good but would of loved more oil and vinegar was kind of dry! pretty decently priced will be back!!! thank you it was a real Italian feel !!!

Went in about 3pm the place was not busy at the time. I ordered a 9in Italian Sub because what else do you order at a Italian deli? Bread had a soft crunch and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. This place gives you that Little Italy/Taylor Street feel with a food quality to match.

I ordered a 36-inch Italian sub and it was tasty. It had the traditional turano bread with the proper Italian meats, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and vinegar. It was obvious that the sandwich was freshly made. They sell this 36-inch Italian sub for a great price. You need to check this deal out!

Great food. Great people. Great environment. Walking in was a breath of fresh air. Finally a nice little bistro with an Italian dedicated menu. My new go to spot no matter how I'm feeling.

Definitely a hidden gem. Food was FANTASTIC! Staff was friendly and accommodating. The Vinny was Delicious and my son loved the pizza! Definitely will be back.

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, they are very people friendly, and caring. I recently had a emergency stop here, I’m a diabetic and my sugar was extremely low, I was half parked in front of Rachel’s Cafe & Delli, my daughter ran inside very irate and the staff here came outside to help us, and even provided me a free meal with a drink, to help bring my sugar up. At that point they were more concerned about my well being than money, and that really meant a lot to me. Also might add the food was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! Thank you again soo much look forward to seeing you very soon❤❤

Great experience. He made my grandchildren feel like family. The food is awesome. Will be returning for more. My family are picky eaters. They enjoyed themselves.

If you want authentic Italian sandwiches, this is the place to visit. Homemade pizza, arancini and even a new pasta bar are just a few of the delicious highlights. If you're lucky, you'll get to purchase a homemade chocolate chip cookie as well.

They made me a salad and got my daughter pizza. The salad was fresh and the chicken was delicious. Fresh mozzarella and cucumber and tomatoes. It was delicious. I will be coming back 🍕 thank you

This place is one of my top favorite places of all times absolutely delicious fresh food amazing taste Italian subs are the greatest my friend got a meatball sandwich he had zero complaints my son got some chicken Parmesan absolutely delectable A must eat place

I've gone in a few times now and the food and customer service is fantastic. The sandwiches are delicious! Still have a few things on the menu I want to try but I highly recommend this restaurant!
