Krua Thai

This place is o our way to a store nearby, we decided to give it a try. It was a great decision. I believe this is not a formal restaurant but more like carry out place with couple of tables.Their food looks and tasted homemade and authentic. The ingredients tasted fresh and light.
I would love to go there again in the future and try other dishes as well.

I have been eating Krua Thai for over 20 years (since they were located in Irving Park). It is not only the best Thai restaurant in all of Chicago, it is my favorite food period! My entire family thanks this wonderful family for their years of service, providing delicious (and homemade) food!

Delicious take-out Thai food. Order early if you want the Fresh Spring Rolls. They sell out quick! Pepper and garlic chicken is a favorite!

Best Thai food around. We ordered pad Thai in mild, medium, and hot. Each person was happy with their level of spiciness and the flavor was great. Their chicken wings were also outstanding. I would definitely order again!

This place is awesome. It is for take out orders. They have tables if someone wants to stay. Food is good, resonable prices.

Update - visited again after not being here in a while. Still love the lunch special - the chef still makes awesome dumplings & crab rangoon. It's kind of like McDonald's fries - that's the best part of the meal, its that good!

I've eaten at many Thai places, so I'll share what's distinctive about this place. They make really good fried food - crispy egg rolls, crab rangoon, and pot stickers are absolutely excellent. I'd go here just for this!

Mom and Pop run establishment that can hang with the best of the best Thai restaurants out there. They are a take out only joint but don’t let that disappoint you from the consistent flavorful dishes they create. Nothing we have tried here has disappointed. 5 stars all the way!

Best Thai food I've had in the Chicagoland area. Spicy, which it should be, and very tasty. The lunch special is a worth it winner with an appetizer sampler, water bottle, and large-portioned entree all for $9

Amazing food. I had ordered Pad Thai chicken, pad Thai shrimp,green curry, fried rice, pad see ew, and vegetarian pot stickers for my family. Everything was on point and full of flavor. Great price point especially for the price and quantity. I think I found my new favorite take out for Thai in the Glenview area.

Wow, so good! Had the fried rice combo and pad Thai and it was so delicious! We also got some complementary spring rolls, crab ragoon, and potstickers and of course they were good too. Definitely recommend this place, great flavor!

Krua Thai can do no wrong. Every dish they make is mouth watering delicious. They know what they're doing & you'll see why I'm raving all about them. Can't go wrong with anything from their menu 😋

Excellent Thai on the border of NB and Glenview. Our first time there exceeded our expectations. Very fresh with excellent flavor, they are also not afraid to make it hot if you like heat. Be prepared to wait if they are busy because they put effort into every order.

Great food consistently every time we order. We are addicted to their food as a family. The owner is very nice. Cooks food perfectly per order. Curry fried rice is our favorite. Pad thai and panang curry is also great.

Food is excellent. Cannot go wrong with chicken pad thai, or beef pad see ew for a first timer. Foodies will enjoy the deeper offerings, such as their curry or basil dishes. They'll customize for you...duck pad thai is a personal favorite

Krau thai was delicious. I got the beef pad that and my wife got tofu pad thai and it hit the spot. We were coming from out of town and saw that they were open until 730 on Sunday. Come to find that when we got there at 7, they were closing up shop but still accommodated us anyway and were really nice about it. We told them we were really sorry we didn't know you guys closed early but they said, don't worry, if we didn't take any orders we could have just said no.

Lastly, their crab cheese was literally the best crab cheese we've ever had! So unique from the typical chinese crab cheese. Great cheese to wonton ratio, sauce was terrific and the texture on the outside was amazing.

We will be coming back if we come to Northbrook in the future!

Excellent food, great selection, good clean ingredients, definitely for carry out (IMO) but you can eat there, very nice owners.

We are Thai food fans that have ordered from this place many times. Then we went to Thailand and had real Thai food....same at Krua Thai which means Thai kitchen in Thai. Don't miss this great Thai food.

We have enjoyed this resturant (thai thai) now krua thai for over 20 years. First we enjoyed at a neighborhood place now in northbrook. The crab ragoons are the BEST!!! ALL of Toy's dishes are excellent. You need to experience this place you will not be disappointed with food. Sometimes it gets a bit busy. Be patient. You may want to order food ahead of time. GREAT FOOD !!!!!!!
