Papa Vito's Pizza Downtown

Great place for pizza. Server was friendly and helpful. The salad was large and excellent and the pizza was even better! The crust was excellent. It was thin yet crunchy and tasty.

Wow! Asked girls at front desk about history of the place! Wow! Veggie pizza was great. We took up three tables as it was a cousin reunion. We all had a great time here. Guy waiter was excellent. Good memories!

Our party of three enjoyed our lunch. I ordered off the lunch menu and couldn't finish my half French dip sandwich and lhalf salad. My husband loves Papa Vitos large salad and yesterday's was excellent. Our friend ordered the 9 inch build your own pizza 🍕. She took half home for later. We're hoping to get back there more often. The delicious 😋 and filling offerings at reasonable prices make this a place worth visiting often. Stacy was attentive to our needs and served us well. Thanks, Papa Vito's.

Papa Vito's is my favorite pizza place in town. The entrance to the restaurant sets the mood with a historic home feel, low-lighting, and aged photos of the original building. I came here most recently on Valentine's Day to pick up a to-go order and the place was packed, unsurprisingly. The KSHE radio station ranked Papa Vito's to have the best pizza in the St. Louis area. I probably wouldn't go so far as to say that, but it is quite tasty.

For three people, we ordered two 8-inch personal pizzas, a French-dip sandwich (my husband's all-time-favorite sandwich, which is made perfectly here), and their house salad. All three of us got a second meal from our leftovers. They offer signature pizzas, but also allow you to build your own.

As it was Valentine's Day, my food was ready 10 minutes after the scheduled time and the bag was missing a requested extra sauce item. All in all, our experience was nearly top notch and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I was told this was their best location and didn't disappoint!! Food was awesome and service was excellent!! Family all approved two thumbs up!! Will be back to try different dishes!!

Went to this place to listen to music. It was fantastic. Atmosphere was upbeat and alive. Food was great and our server Chelsea ( only serving there a few weeks) was great.

Longtime fan but hadn’t been in the historic Belleville downtown location, and what a nice atmosphere.
Thin crust is perfect. Salads are huge - must split.
Sandwiches are massive. Toasted ravioli nice and plumb and not dry.
There with a large party - 8 — for a birthday, and our friend received complimentary birthday cake gelato.

We recommend the deluxe pizza. It's a nice mixture of pepperoni, sausage, bacon, green pepper, onions, and mushrooms. Lots of cheese. Thin crispy crust. Elizabeth was a wonderful server. I love the awesome looking old building. Thank you very much Papa Vito.

I've been to the Belleville location a couple of times, both very good. Gotta share, the Sunday Special, it's so worth it. Large 2 topping pizza, LARGE amazing salad and 4 breadsticks; soda not included...but only $35 and had a lunch for two the following day.

Absolutely loved our dining experience tonight. Amazing service. Amazing food.
Get the breadsticks and add cheese. You will not be disappointed.

Their sandwiches are delicious. My favorite so far is the meatball sandwich, but the French dip was pretty good too.
Their lunch salad is good and packed with veggies, and the house dressing is very sweet.
Nice interior and friendly staff. I would gladly eat too much food here again.

This was my first visit and me and my family will definitely be going back. The only issue we had was the hostess who sat us made it appear that we were inconveniencing her. The server made up for the hostess being snooty. The food was amazing and oh, the salad can feed 4 ppl easily. The pizza crust is thin and crispy.

I cant tell you how surprised l was when l visited yesterday, around 12.30pm! I saw a couple of tables, by the wall, with customers that appeared to be enjoying their lunch break, but it didn't look too busy. As we waited to be seated we reviewed the menu. Oh my gracious, everything looked good, but nothing could've prepared me for the experience that awaited me.
On our way to be seated we were lead around the corner to a lively, larger dining area; the only table that was empty was the one we were led to. As we passed we noticed the portion sizes, LARGE!
We chose to share the Toasted Cannelloni
(Hand-cut cannelloni filled with beef and pork  and coated with batter. Finished with seasoned breadcrumbs) and Vito's Garden Salad (Generous serving of iceberg and romaine lettuce topped with cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, red onions, tomatoes, pepperoni, bacon bits and croutons) [generous is not the word, think almost the size of an olive garden salad]. The salad's veggies were crisp and juicy.
I built a 9" pizza with Chicken, Red Onions, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Tomatoes, and Banana Peppers. Even with all of the veggies the thin crust was still crispy. It was delectable -I ate the whole thing. He got the MAMA'S CLASSIC MEATBALL. Fresh homemade meatballs, marinara sauce and provel cheese, on crunchy chewy French bread. Everything was amazing!
We couldn't stop complementing the food, or our waiter Luke! He was running around like his pants were on fire, but made the effort to stop by 3 times to make sure everything was ok.
I can't wait to go back!!!!

AMAZING place. I can not wait to come back next time I'm in Belleville. Service was fast, and friendly. The Bloody Mary was phenomenal! The baked wings are a must. The highlight of the meal was the buffalo chicken pizza. It was the best I've had in my life. Thin, crispy crust, sauce to die for.

We ordered from here for the first time this evening. This is BY FAR the best pizza and best sandwich we’ve had in the area. Definitely recommend!

Sooooo good that I forgot to take a picture. The salad is big enough to feed 4 people. We ordered 2 for 4 people and shouldn't have.

The pizza is thin crust, like St. Louis style.

Food here is not only delicious, but their portion sizes are incredibly filling and the cost is very affordable for their quality! Amazing service and you must try their salads/pizzas!
