We had an excellent experience here! Everyone really enjoyed the food… Some very unique Indian inspired tacos too! I had the Samosa tacos, they were great! We finished our experience with the fried ice cream- also delish! Amazing salsas too! Super clean, a little sterile as far as ambience- but still cute. Super clean bathroom too- Staff was exceptional! They have a daily taco special- and even have good happy hour pricing on select drinks…

I recently hosted my daughter’s first birthday party here. Ahad and his team did a fantastic job. They helped with decorating too. He was great with communication and made sure to execute things as I wanted. Everyone raved about the food and margaritas! We used the whole space for about 50 guests but the private room would be great for 20! This is a perfect venue if you don’t want to deal with finding/renting a space and finding a caterer!

Fresh and tasty tacos on corn or flour. The Dorado and the tinga are both delicious. The chips are free and come with warm salsa, a favorite. And there are many other salsas on the salsa bar to choose. Will definitely come back and try the other menu items.

Just flat out good Mexican food. Tacos freshly prepared right in front of you with high quality meat and veggies. Loved the chicken taco especially - get it with a corn tortilla and lime. Service was nice and friendly, especially Aadil who promptly greeted me and was very patient. All orders come with chips which, while cold, were well spiced and a great accompaniment to the many salsas you can use from the self-service salsa bar. Overall, this place will excite your tastebuds without disappointing your wallet - highly recommend.

I wish I had taken a picture of the food. It was so beautifully packaged, but it snelled too good, and we just devoured our tacos.

We got take-out but got to sit for a minute in the large, bright, clean dining area. We definitely are coming back to dine-in!

The service was amazing! Chill vibe, great for kids, and amazing prices for the food! It has a great variety of Mexican inspired dishes, and staff are friendly and patient to explain the menu. Aman helped us out today, and we will definitely be returning!

We ended up here literally by accident, a car accident We were quickly distracted from this drama by the friendly service, free seasoned chips, and salsa that was so good I wanted to drink it. Their empanada are filled with meat and gooey melted cheese. Cant go wrong with their tacos priced at just a few bucks and totally worth it. I washed it all down with a watermelon margarita. To top it all off our waiter gave us free fresh hot crispy churros drizzled with caramel and chocolate. Will definitely come back.

Great spot for casual lunch or late night snack! We get the chips, salsa, queso, Al pastor, and chicken tinga tacos. Great service, friendly staff.

This is a new location and I’m really happy with it. Same-super quality and taste. It’s very clean and up-to-date. The staff, especially Aman, is extremely attentive and courteous. I will be back for sure!

Mexican places are a dime a dozen in Chicago. Some are hits, others are misses. Taco Maya is a solid taco place. The grilled meat (asada) taco is flavorful. The shrimp in the shrimp taco is not overcooked and the flavors are balanced. The chicken tinga taco has a little heat. The Indian-inspired tacos are worth a taste. I wish we found it sooner but now, it’s on our map!

This place imo is one of the most underrated Mexican fast food restaurants in Chicago. The signature taco is THE BEST. Try it with the creamy jalapeño salsa and you'll get that umami every bite. I literally eat there 2-3 times a week and get the same taco. Also, free chips and salsa? Taco Tuesdays? Salsa bar? Samosa, Korean BBQ and other fusion tacos? Say less

Amazing place nestled right in this great neighborhood. The two staff Ahman and adbid were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable about their craft. Food came out hot , and tasty. I live on the south side but will definitely be back !!!!!!!!

I had a great experience at tacomaya! They have an amazing salsa bar. Quality and taste of food was really good.
Also, the staff there was very polite and helpful, specially the manager Ahad took good care of us. I have been to so many restaurants which sale tacos and all of them Tacomaya is my favorite because they have so many amazing vegetarian options in all type of food.❤

Came here after a really depressing night and it really changed my mood. Unfortunately, I did not have the proper appetite to fully appreciate the food, but it did smell delicious and I am sure I will be pleased when I return. The service was amazing and Excalibur. The bathroom's was clean to preciseness. And the food came out in a decent time that I did not mind. During the wait I just went outside and practice my yo-yo🪀. Can't wait to return.

This is the best spot on Monday for a $1 it's honestly Delicious one per customer but I just hit up each location I pass
