Oak at The Glen

Everyone was super nice. Great server we had tonight! Loved our wings and fried pickles! Music a bit too loud for my liking, and restroom needed to be checked more frequently. This was my 2nd time here, and do plan to return!

Great place to watch games and have a fantastic burger, fries and drinks. Nice ambiance and good energy. The fries are probably the best I've ever had to be quite honest. From the bartender to the waitresses, to the food, this place is first rate! They all continually asked if we needed anything and are just wonderful people. Highly recommend the fantastic burgers and fries.

Toyed with giving four stars but only because there’s no online reservations system which seems antiquated in 2023. We booked a reservation for my husband’s birthday on the phone but when we arrived, they were just using a paper and pen calendar and had no record of our reservation. Luckily, they were able to seat us within five mins at a lovely high top by the windows so it all worked out and thus, the five stars.

After the initial minor issue, everything was perfect. Our server was efficient and cheerful. Our drinks came fast and we’re delicious. Husband had an old fashioned and I had a rye Manhattan which was amazing. Had considered a beer and they had a large selection (probably 20 on tap) but as it was a celebration, and we love bourbon, we got the cocktails.

We started with salads (crisp and refreshing) which appropriately came first, and then had entrees. My husband made several alterations to his meal and they all came out exactly correctly. He had the cheeseburger but with turkey instead of beef, and no bacon. It was moist and flavorful. Fries are crinkle fries - crispy goodness. I had the chicken dinner which was cooked nicely with good flavor - slightly sweet but not overly. Coleslaw is thinner than some places which I found refreshing. Nice mashed potatoes. Good sized portion - took home half of it in the Tupperware I brought purposefully for it. We were too full for dessert so apologies but didn’t even see the dessert menu.

And the atmosphere is lovely - we love bourbon and wood so the decor was exactly what we like.

Can’t wait to be back and try other things.

The food was absolutely phenomenal!!! From the cooks to our waitress, the service was fantastic! Also, I would HIGHLY recommend their prime rib!!

We had a reservation for Easter Brunch for 11 and a high chair. When we arrived it was a bar height table. I mentioned it to them. They were very gracious apologized and corrected the problem within 15 minutes. This was my first time at the Oak at The Glen. Nice variety at the buffet, great omelets, crap cakes, paiella, lox and bagels, fruit, desserts. Nice selection for children. Everyone we had contact with was cheerful and seemed happy we were there. I highly recommend.

Oak is my new Friday night after work restaurant. Had dessert and drinks. Outrageously fantastic bourbon selection. Servers and bartenders were great. The owner was also in and we had a good conversation about the restaurant and of course bourbons. He has one of my favorites. attached a pic.Great Old Fashions as well.

Lovely pub-style restaurant with a good selection of beers and whiskey / bourbon. They had non-alcoholic beer on the menu which is a big plus. We had the 3 alarm burger and the pulled pork sandwich. The burger was fantastic according to my friend - he said it was a game changer in fact. The medium rare came out perfect, very tasty and juicy. The pulled pork sandwich was also great, loved the sweetness of the bbq sauce and the crispy onion rings. Best to book a table on busier nights to avoid long wait times.

There seem to be a lot of choices in The Glen for food, and we have tried them all but especially want to recommend Oak at the Glen. We had a larger group and the host team was super accommodating to our needy group and the service from there was outstanding. The wait staff was knowledgeable and playful and made our 3 generations of family members all feel special.

The tuna appetizer i thought was the best but arguments for the brussel sprouts were made.

If you like burgers this is your spot. They were all delicious. I made my way around to each plate to make sure of that!

But I had the scallop special to keep things different. Highly recommended.

Great food. Great environment. Great service.

Always noticed this place after its previous tenant and whenever I would stop by, it looked packed. Decided to stumble in on a Thursday night around 8pm and noticed they close at 10pm. Walked in and there were only five or so patrons sitting at the bar and was kind of bummed the kitchen closes around 9pm. Still ordered their Bourbon-Glazed Bacon Wrapped Shrimp which came with a side of Dirty Rice. Also ordered a few drinks. Definitely can taste the bourbon-glaze, and the Dirty Rice, which was kind of reminiscent of Popeye's rice, was a tad bit salty yet complemented the shrimp pretty well.

I don't say this enough with restaurants, but that was a great meal! Excellent customer service, the food was delicious. (I mean actually delicious!) The drinks were great too. We watched a game and left with a full belly and a great feeling. Joe was amazing. Felt like sober with family without...family.

Food was fine here, nothing crazy amazing and nothing bad. Service was fine as well.

The perfect place for a quick bite with the family or to catch the game with the guys.

This is a Freedom loving place 🙂, the decor is beautiful with natural wood throughout that gives an irish pub feel of cozy and warm. The vibe and energy is upbeat. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp which was cooked perfectly and the rice was delicious.The cornbread was amazing. I will be back to try some of the main dishes. There is a parking garage near as street parking is limited.

We stopped in for a quick bite with 3 kids because it was nearby. I was anticipating pretty decent food but it was better than I expected. The fried pickles and loaded tater tots were very good. The kids menu is very affordable and the portion size is pretty big. Service from the hostess to the waitress and busboy/food server was excellent.

Absolutely amazing place, from the atmosphere to the staff, start to finish - so good that we came back two nights in a row. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. Rich, the general manager is so kind and appreciative of his customers, and Joe was one of the greatest waiters I've ever had. The food was absolutely amazing (the totchos were next level and the Oak Branded Burger is one of the best I've ever had), and the cocktails were perfect. If you happen to find yourself in the area, stop in and you absolutely will not regret it.

Came here after visiting the Chicago Botanical garden. Best choice was to come here out of anywhere else. This restaurant serves the most incredible chicken sandwich I've ever tasted. It was their special- Hot Honey Chicken and we tried the Nashville chicken are both perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful, complemented by a delicious combination of toppings and a soft, toasted bun. It's a true masterpiece that will leave you craving for more. A must-try for chicken sandwich lovers. I haven't found a better sandwich in Cleveland like this. Also, the Salmon Salad was absolutely Superb. Best looking and tasting salmon I've had in a long time. Keep it up!

I'd give this place more stars if I could! We decided to come here when my dad was in town from Arizona because he loves whiskey and they have a ton. That list did not disappoint! We saw another table order the fish fry and it looked so good, my dad and brother instantly decided that's what they were having. They raved up and down about it and I had a bite which was amazing! I was boring and had the chicken tenders but I was NOT disappointed. Our server was the best there is. Beyond personable and made great recommendations on bother the whiskey and the food. He really made the experience complete! I wish all servers were like him! We got the opportunity to speak with the owner which was an added pleasure. Super nice guy. Turns out or server is his cousin. Talk about his cousin treating the business like his own. All around the perfect night. We will 100% be back!
