Just a superb place. Exactly what I had hoped for. FYI: it’s big so give yourself an hour plus. This is specifically about the museum; the Arsenal is amazing as well. Plenty of free parking and clean bathrooms.

The new remodel made this museum so much better. Will be going back. There's a ton of information and it's very well set out on a timeline.

First time visit. Staff at the museum was knowledgeable and very helpful. Went around the corner to the Lock & Dam bar and watched the Army/Navy game. Super fun and great atmosphere.

Great collection of Firearms! Plan extra time to get cleared through the visitors center. They perform a background check. Also you need to use the Moline entrance on to the island the one on the west end is closed.

Interesting Museum with lots of history about US Army munitions. You will need to get a pass at security. We went during the week and it too about 20 minutes. The museum is not open every day so you should look at the web site to make sure its open.

Fascinating history about Arsenal Island and the surrounding Mississippi River! Also, possibly the largest collection of firearms I've ever seen in my entire life! If you haven't been here for a while, or never been, you should check it out! The gift shop is gone; but rest of the museum has been updated fairly recently.

Very interesting displays and a lot to learn. If you're at all interested in history or firearms, I recommend checking out this museum.

If you are curious about the history of firearms this is the place to visit. The docent was very knowledgeable and happy to share. We visited during the women of the Arsenal exhibit. It was a little disappointing. One small room but I guess you can only share what you have.

Really nice historical museum of the Arsenal. It told a great story and one could spend a good deal of time here. Important note, you need to get a visitor pass and on the day I was there, it took over 30 minutes due yo the number of people. A big bonus in that it was free

If you love military history Go Here. If you LOVE guns Go Here. They have thousands of guns on display both military and private. This is an awesome museum.

Wow, alot of interesting history both local to the area & this US Army base also all the artifacts in this museum! No admission charge but the donations are appreciated & you have to check in at the MP building, it's worth it!

It was extremely easy to get a visitor pass to get on the island. One of the officers that was taking our information was rude but other than that it was simple. The museum itself is great. Plenty of history to see and learn not only the weapons that we're manufactured but about the island itself.

Need to first go to south entrance to get a background check to get on the Army base. It's good for a year and needed for 18 and over.

Great place to visit. So much history in one location. Something for all family members. The lock operator is great. Video shows are very good.
If you like weaponry of all kinds, they have it. Including a field artillery piece called the Atomic cannon and captured equipment from several wars.
