Excellent location, reasonably priced for a mid-June stay on the Cape. Breakfast was amazing everyday, multiple options available every morning. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Room was amazing, clean and up-to-date.

Beautiful, Serene, and Simply everything you would need for a stay in the heart of Cape Cod... and so it goes.

The bed and breakfast itself is charming - from the little holiday decorations items and breakfast items & tea cups to the warmth and coziness of the common areas, it is exactly what one would imagine from a Hallmark movie when choosing a little vacation. I visited in the off season for Cape Cod and I can certainly say that I was in awe of the beauty of the area, walking along the beach even with chilly weather, and how accessible everything was from the B&B. It makes me excited to return come summer when the weather is warmer to get the same lovely stay within a new season.

On top of the beauty of the Cape itself and the cute bed and breakfast, I cannot speak enough on how great the owners were. Courtney and Calvin were by far two of the kindest souls I have met to this day, and exceeded expectations when sharing tips, travel guidance, best things to do in the Cape Cod even in winter, food and coffee recommendations, and the list goes on. I have traveled all over the world - a NYC resident today, Paris for a good while, and several areas around Europe, the USA, MX, and Brazil. And yet I cannot think of any better experiences I have had - even in the finest of hotels, and what one would think of as a luxury suite - that showcased more genuine hospitality than the family running An English Garden and their sister inns/hotels/etc along the cape and throughout the East Coast. It is evident that their love for Cape Cod and doing what they do is within their spirit every day, and it made all the difference for a first time visitor like myself to have that shared among my time at their inn. If you stay here, be sure to save a little time for a cup of tea or a glass of wine and good conversation with your hosts, and explore the area and all its' beauty. A 12/10, stellar experience - all the gratitude and good words for this place!

My mother and I visited An English Garden and had the best experience. Courtney and Calvin run a top notch Bed & Breakfast. Our room, 111, was perfect and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have experienced on a vacation. I even looked at the tags to see what brand they were since I was going to upgrade at home soon. Extremely clean and inviting, we already booked for next year. There's a hot fresh breakfast every morning, not a muffin in plastic and a paper cup for coffee. We had delicious pancakes and made to order eggs any way. The gardens are beautiful and the hydrangeas were exquisite! Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels are all available for free use and Inman Beach is a block from the beach. It is easily accessible and a 5 minute walk away so no need to find parking. I really can't say enough about their hospitality, it was a perfect stay, 5☆ all the way! Highly recommended for an excellent get away.

My husband and I stayed here during Memorial Day weekend. I’ve been wanting to leave a review since then since we loved it and finally getting around to it. Although the weather that weekend was cold and rainy, we loved our stay. The bed & breakfast was very cute and quaint, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was nice and quiet. We also particularly loved the breakfast! We stayed there for two nights so we had breakfast twice and it was different each time and delicious! We loved that they made our breakfast to order and that it wasn’t buffet style. Our server was also very friendly. Overall a very enjoyable stay despite the weather!

Our stay here was perfect for a little weekend away. The B&B was kept super clean and neat. It’s decorated in such a cozy manner. The view and proximity to the water was my favorite part. Breakfast in the morning was DELICIOUS and everyone is so pleasant and friendly. 10/10. We plan on returning !

We LOVED LOVED LOVED everything about this charming bed and breakfast! The family owns and operates a few places in the neighborhood and they are all very nice too. The private beach with chairs, umbrellas and bathroom is less than half a block away! The immaculate, pretty rooms with balconies, COMFORTABLE BEDS, great staff and Amazing made to order Breakfast are why we extended our stay and will be going back!!!

We went here for a weekend getaway in December. Breakfast isn't served in the off-season, but we certainly didn't mind! This place is beautiful, cozy, and so quaint! You can see and walk to the beach from the Inn. The hosts are wonderful! We will be back!

This place is awesome! I can't understand the few ratings that are under 5 star. "Maybe just people that are satisfied by nothing". Anyway, The kitchen staff we're very helpful in guiding us on daily agendas. The breakfasts were outstanding as well! My wife an I hated to leave. An English Garden is a very charming place.

We had the chance to book a short stay in last minute… and the only regret is that it was too short! Our room and the hotel were very clean and well maintained, the location is excellent (close to the beach, very central in Cape Cod). The staff was very affable, in charge of making delicious breakfasts and cakes in the afternoon. A great experience.

Fantastic experience!!! Very clean and great breakfast every morning. The staff are very nice and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We booked suite 2 and it had everything you could possibly need. Full kitchen and the bathroom even had a washer and dryer. We will be coming back 😃 I suggest booking directly through their website prices are cheaper.

There is no better place to wash your stress away then at the beautiful An English Garden Bed and Breakfast. Our room was adorable, clean and we even had a little deck with a water view. The breakfast is outstanding and everyone who works there couldn’t be kinder! The owners are just lovely! It’s also walking distance to the beach which is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about An English Garden. This was my 4th stay and I will be back!!

The English Garden B&B was everything they said it would be. Stayed in Rm 304, had a balcony with amazing ocean views and a spot we could sit at night to enjoy it.
Calvin and the staff are top notch! Breakfast every morning cooked to order!
Had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

If you are reading this review because you want to know if you should stay at An English Garden LOOK NO FURTHER - book it and get excited! This place is heaven on earth. Steps from the beach, beautiful rooms, and (most importantly) a place with real character. I cannot recommend this place more highly. As someone who has stayed in hundreds of hotels globally...it is my newfound Cape Cod home. -E

I own a cottage in proximity to “An English Garden” and stayed overnight while work is being done at my place. It is delightful! Cozy, clean, lovingly decorated…it is in a wonderful location, and a “shells” throw to the beach. I will highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay 💙

We stayed in a suite in the carriage house next door to the large main house. Our suite had it's own side entrance. There were two screened sliders that opened up to a small private deck overlooking some conservation land. There was plenty of windows around the main space to make it really bright and airy. The suite had a kitchenette with a stove top, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. We had an AC and room sized air purifier as well as a dehumidifier which was great for blocking out sound at night for a sound sleep. The place was clean and had a homey cottage feel. The gardens were beautiful. The road was quiet. The beach was a tiny two minute walk away (though it was free parking the beach wasn't well maintained. I would drive down a little further out or take a longer walk through the path to the better beaches). But where the place really shined was meeting Susan and her helper Sophia the next morning at breakfast. We are vegan and Susan's first vegan couple. She went above and beyond to make sure we were not disappointed with her famous breakfast focus. She bought some really high quality vegan products (Siggi's, Miyoko's, Field Roast and Dave's breads) and produced a fantastic multi course breakfast of for the two of us with a spectacular variety of fresh fruit, toast with 'butter' & jam, and breakfast tacos with potatoes, kale, onion and apple sage 'sausage' on a flour tortilla with a side side of hot sauce. Her company and conversation was the after meal treat. She and her husband Mark run a beautiful eight room B&B. We would absolutely go back for another stay. If you're looking for an intimate low key vacation or weekend getaway that gets you in close proximity of a ton of high traffic destinations but don't want to be in the middle of all that noise and traffic this is the place to stay.

The accommodations are clean, comfy and come with a perfect location walking distance to the beach. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home and happy. Breakfast was very good and there were even some snacks available in the afternoon. We loved this B&B and recommend it highly!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at An English Garden, and it was wonderful! We rented a suite, which is located in the carriage house at the back of the property. We had our own kitchenette, a small washer and dryer in the bathroom, and a gas fireplace (which was wonderful on those chilly nights in May!). There was a private porch as well. The suite had one bedroom, the living area (with kitchenette) and a bathroom. The couch in the living area was so comfortable, and it pulled out so the suite would be great for two couples or a family.

The Inn itself has two nice sitting areas inside and a large dining room where delicious breakfast were served every morning. Mark and Susan, the owners, make the breakfast, and they are so accommodating! If there is something special you need, they will do everything they can to make it happen. Breakfast always included juice, coffee and tea, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels and muffins, and then there was a special, hot dish served (pancakes, waffles, omlettes, etc). Susan and Mark were always able to give great advice about things to do during the day, no matter what the weather was going to be.

The Inn is about a block from a small public beach, which was wonderful to just stroll down to on our first day with a bottle of wine! The Inn provided us with chairs, blankets and an umbrella as well! There was a hot tub on the garden area at the back of the property, but we didn't take advantage of it.

The city of Dennis Port is adorable, with several great places to eat (Ocean House if you're in the mood for something fancy, The Red Nun if you're looking for bar fare), and just a short drive from Hyannis (which has a ferry over to Martha's Vineyard). We cannot recommend An English Garden highly enough!!

Only negative is parking. If you drive a large vehicle, parking is tight. Bedroom was awesome as was the daily breakfast!

Mmmmm love Joe the egg man and his breakfast every morning. This is a wonderful, quiet, comfortable place to stay. I was here in October and the deck outside the bedroom was the best to come home to and read and smell fresh air. The owners and so nice and engage if you like to or leave you alone if you prefer. Can't wait to go back next year.
