I thought this spot was pretty good.
Service is kinda sketchy- we felt bad/guilty about being there the whole time- but I know they're popular and it's hard to deal with tons of people!
The food was awesome. Great nachos, bf got steak tips, they had good beer on draft. Friendly patrons, actually good fresh jalapeños on the nachos- good.

This was always on our list of places to stop, and I'm glad we finally did! The cheese sticks are great and homemade! The drinks were wonderful. The pulled pork sandwich was so good! The pulled pork is more like burnt ends and they are delicious! The bbq sauce is homemade too. The bbq platter is a true platter! You get pulled pork, bbq brisket, and ribs with beans, cornbread, and fries, for only $25! I highly recommend checking it out. They have great outdoor seating and the staff is so nice!

Food and drinks were awesome. Staff were great. Inside / outside seating. Bar / dining areas.

What a find this place was. It is tucked away in a small town. Our food was amazing and they had live music. He was so good. Just made the experience so much better.

Wonderful staff and the food was good too! We had a party of 8 and they got us in. The atmosphere was perfect.

I must say this, I love this place. I've never had a bad experience yet. The atmosphere is very nice, the food and drinks are great. I really love their Pasta Lo Mein dish and their Brisket, but I feel like whatever you order here, you won't go wrong. It's a must try if you are in the area!

Great food that's really well priced with friendly staff. They also have a wide range of draft beer and unique cocktails. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Staff was friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious. Ribs, Mac and cheese and baked beans were very good. Husband had pulled pork sandwich which he enjoyed. Steak tips with chopped salad were awesome too. Everything came out quickly and warm. Would definitely go back here again.

First time going was this past Saturday night 2/11/23, and we were served by Mollie. She was outstanding. The food was delicious. The service was timely, the food was quicker than we expected, and the drinks were cold. We will be patrons of Back Burner for years to come. Thanks for the great food, service, and atmosphere!

The food is great with quite a few options to choose from you can't really go wrong with anything

So happy we stumbled upon this place after an afternoon hiking in the area. Such a great atmosphere with a super friendly staff and a wonderful outdoor dining area. We had the homemade provolone sticks, Caesar salad, meatloaf, and stuffed haddock and everything was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, I managed to forget my debit card in the check holder and the owner was kind enough to mail it back to me within hours of contacting her about it. This will definitely be our go-to spot whenever we're back in the area ☺

Great place to grab a beer and a bite! Cozy atmosphere, comfort food, and a phenomenal staff...they really went out of their way for our 9 person group, including 4 crazy kids. Highly recommend!

The food was so fantastic, we had to go back the next evening! Everything was delicious! The wings, calamari, baked stuffed Haddock, Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, meatloaf, red velvet cake and Blueberry cheese cake were all phenomenal! Look forward to returning!

The waitress - bar tender here is so friendly. It's almost like having a best friend sitting with you. People are very friendly here. This is my other favorite restaurant in porter. They have dishes that are very different different than other places in the area. Very much home cooking. Definitely delicious. A real community place to hang out. It also has a hotel motel connected that's very pretty and it's not that old. It has an outdoor area to sit if you so choose. I highly recommend it.

The fellas and I stopped in to get some burgers and beers after a ski day. I got the daily special, a jalapeno cheddar smash burger that was awesome!! It was actually a smash burger - aka big thin beef paddy - and I loved it. Sauce hit the spot, beef cooked perfectly, and they had Guinness on tap. All the fellas loved their burgers and the garlic and herb fries were delicious as well.

There was also a regular named Carl (or Karl) there. As a fellow Carl that automatically earns bonus points. Keep slayin boi. Hope to see u next time.

It is a lovely, rustic wood interior setting that is warm and cozy. I love the chicken pot pie and the French soup. My husband enjoyed the stuffed Haddock. Everything was delicious!
