One Bourbon

Great food & great atmosphere. The dining area is super lowkey & chill. The steak & chicken mushroom risotto were amazing. Our server was awesome - I think his name was Steve - but he was phenomenal!

First time here, and everything was amazing! Absolutely loved the music, staff, and food! Oh, and my drink was incredible! Blackberry Sage Swizzle with bourbon, not vodka! We can't wait to go back! And the cookie dessert!

Food was prepared quickly, properly, and tasted great. Steve, our server was pleasant and attentive without hovering. We had a nice table in the front window, very nice. If you have hearing issues, don’t sit in the bar, it’s very noisy. Great experience, definitely a do over!

My new favorite in Grand Rapids. The bourbon selection is phenomenal, so was the pork chop. Highly recommend the whiskey sour for after dinner. Say hello to Megan the owner who stopped by to say hello before we left.

Went for my 40th birthday, had the best experience! The staff was wonderful, my steak was heaven, and our drinks were 10/10. The have a HUGE selection of bourbon, and we loved it! Thank you so much for providing a wonderful place to celebrate!

What a cool place to enjoy some great bourbon! Super friendly and attentive staff. The Tennessee whiskey and .mushroom sauce was amazing!

Came for the first time last night and everything was pretty good. Large portions too. The pickles and hoppin John were my favorite parts. And definitely try the carrot drink with spicy tequila, so unique and so good!

I booked One Bourbon's Lounge and Oak Room for our company holiday party and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. I had the pleasure of working with Meagan throughout the planning process and she made it SO easy and stress-free; their entire event planning process is very well structured.
The night of, everything was perfect! Chandler took great care of our team! We opted for an hor dourve-style menu (not a full meal) but the portions and food were VERY impressive! No one left hungry, that's for sure! The food was phenomenal, highlights being the hot cheese, charcuterie board, Caesar salad station, meatballs, Georgia wontons and some amazing beef kabobs.
The atmosphere was upbeat and sophisticated, while embracing the building's history. The staff was extremely attentive and also knowledgeable about the building, impressing our entire staff with fun facts.
I would highly recommend One Bourbon for a casual night out or your next corporate party. From the food to the staff, everything was exceptional!

We made dinner reservations for my husband's birthday. Unbeknownst to us, it was restaurant week, but they still reserved a table by the windows for us and provided absolutely amazing service. Our waitress was one of the nicest waitresses I have ever had anywhere and she was knowledgeable about the bourbon.

We tried the black pea fritters for an app. For dinner, I had the grilled cheese with squash bisque and my husband had the burger. Everything was amazing!

Very, very, good. Fun atmosphere, great service, and really good food. I am definitely going back.

We went to One Bourbon last night for our friend’s birthday. We did have reservations, which was great because we were able to get our table relatively quickly. We started at the bar (which had space for 6 easily on a Friday night!) and all got drinks. The bartenders (Tyler and Dustin) made drinks that were out of this world! I personally had an Old Fashioned and Whiskey Sour. Both were great, but it was quite possibly the BEST whiskey sour I have ever had ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Within our group - we also got the Sunshine and Smoke, which was an amazing mix of sweet, spicy and smoky. So cool! The Footloose, which is a Cran-Apple Mule that is seriously BOMB! And other various bourbon and whiskey drinks.

Our experience here was so great, and Meagon, who helped with our table and service was great. We made sure to grab her name, just so I could mention her great service in this review - just to find out she was the owner. She absolutely shows and gives her heart in this place. She was down to earth and made sure everyone had a great time and service. Thank you!

On to the food - we had several dishes and apps at our table and everything hit! Apps we got were the Cheese Curds, Biscuit Board and Southern Wontons - my only regret was not getting pics of all these lovely foods! The cheese curds and wontons were amazingly delightful and the dipping sauce **chef’s kiss** Our waiter was Chandler - and he was great at answering questions, and getting all our drinks/food!

As for our meals -I personally had the Southern Chicken Sandwich - Nashville Hot. And.It.Slayed!! Spicy enough to get heat, but not overwhelming. The fries were good, too! The portion was huge, and even after sharing we took ½ home! My husband got the smoked ribeye and veggies (no pic 🙁) and loved it!

Overall - great experience. Will be back again! Also we are interested in Wilma - their traveling drink cart. Ask about it!!

We have been here twice and loved it both times. It isn't particularly special in a specific way but it is a very solid restaurant with great rotating food and drinks. My husband loves the whiskey flights.

We left wondering if the hostess - our first contact - was an owner. If she isn't, she should be as her hospitality and service set the standard for the rest of our experience. We had a short wait and she immediately offered to get us drinks while we waited, and even brought an off-menu drink that exceeded my non-alcoholic drinking wife's expectations. The food was excellent. The cocktail flight was excellent and well worth the price.

12/10 recommend!!! Great prices. Amazing drinks. The food is to die for!!!!!! I got the Tennessee chicken and I've been dreaming about it since we visited last Friday. Our waitress was Mary and she was awesome. The atmosphere alone will make you never want to leave. Sit outside on the patio. You won't regret visiting here and it will be your new favorite place! Can't wait to go back!

Awesome place! I'm new in town, and was trying to find a great place to just vibe out and drink good whiskey. This is that place! Bartenders are super attentive, good food, and a really wide spread of brown liquor.

Okay, I’m kind of obsessed. First, a little historical snack -the site belonged to the first bar in Kent county after prohibition! It’s absolutely gorgeous inside -perfect for cocktails with friends, after work get-togethers, dates, and catching up with family. If you don’t know much about spirits, do NOT worry! Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable -Meagan blew us away with her knowledge and her cocktail finesse! She started us off slow with a rose petal gimlet and blackberry thyme smash. WOWSA! Stunning concoctions! We then did a little whiskey tasting and moved into drinks highlighting bourbon -a burnt orange and vanilla old fashioned and blueberry boulevardier. The blueberry boulevardier is perfect for low-carb Googlers! And I forgot to mention the cheese curds! Simply stunning and a big, healthy order! They’re the lightest fried curds I’ve had -not greasy or heavy. Nice, light, well-seasoned, and crisp. For entrees we had the southern chicken sandwich, along with red beans and rice with chicken. Everything was wonderfully executed -throughout our experience, I was incredibly impressed with flavors and creativity. The environment was clean, welcoming, and unique. Further, staff were amazing! I highly recommend folks check this out. There’s a place for all -if you’re a bourbon connoisseur, you’ll be in HEAVEN! They have an impressive selection. If you’re new to bourbon and want to explore -this is the place to go, you’ll be taken care of whatever your needs.

The owner was there and she was very nice as well, i really enjoyed my experience there.

I went to one bourbon as part of a large group for dinner on a Wednesday night. I wasn't sure what to expect with my first visit but I was pleasantly surprised. Our group was made comfortable at a long table with a church pew for seating along one side (cool). We ordered three different apps including the Georgia egg rolls, cheese curds and hot cheese. They were all GREAT and made better by knowing that everything is made from scratch!

For dinner we got a wide offering of entrees and I have to say my three favorite were the vegetarian shepherds pie, the gumbo and the poutine. I would reccomend passing and sharing. Lastly be careful with the hot fried chicken, as it really is! I will be back again and couldn't recommend this place more, especially with the excellent bar tenders and wait staff as well :-)

Beautiful space and super pleasant service. The lemon asparagus risotto was unique and delicious! As the name indicates, the bourbon list is extensive, and I got to enjoy a pour of Colonel EH Taylor.
