Oarweed Restaurant

Loved my chicken sandwich and was able to buy up for a side ceasar salad instead of chips or the other sides offered. The bun was not soggy and chicken was very moist. I also ordered ice cream for dessert. It's nothing special but good vanilla flavor. Everyone else liked their food and the view of the Atlantic ocean.

Great place to stop and get a drink and food at the end of the Marginal Way walk. Sat in the outside patio looking right out at the ocean. The blueberry splash drink was a hit and husband said his haddock fish sandwich(see pic) with bacon and cheese was the best he has ever had. Friendly waitress too

Great spot right at the end of the marginal cliff walk. We waited a bit to be seated because the place was so busy, but our seat was in a cozy corner with an amazing view of the water. The clam chowder was so creamy and delicious, the lobster roll was salad (it came with a bag of chip), and the blueberry pie was absolutely incredible. Their famous lemony dressing also totally lived up to the hype! It’s certainly not cheap, but I think it was worth it. We walked here but there is a parking lot next door (it costs $20 to park tho)

The clam chowder and crab melt are too die for. The Oarweed was so great that we went twice during our trip. The seafood was so authentic and we loved the ocean view from the restaurant. Would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

Great seafood, great prices, great service, and a beautiful view.
The blueberry lemon drop martini and the raspberry Cosmo were both lucious and huge.
The whole lobster and "Lazy Lobster" were perfect although, I usually order their crab cakes because they make the very best.
The strawberry shortcake had fresh warm biscuits in it and was big enough to share.

We had steamed mussels for appetizers, variety of chowders, salmon, 1 1/4 lb lobsters. Finalized with Blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream. All entrees were very delicious. Milosh our server did a magnificent job waiting on our table. We were going to another popular restaurant, but was closed at 4 pm on Sunday. We all felt we ended up with a better restaurant!

Great sea food and setting by the water

I enjoyed the seafood trio, and the stuffed potato is creamy and delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly. There's a good view also. Live the blueberry pie.

This is the type of restaurants that are slowly disappearing. Authentic, real, unapologetically focused on the quality of their food rather than the stars and reviews.

Delicious chowder, so so coffee (I was warned by the server), but the five stars are all about the view. The place is on the water, rock formations are beautiful, gorgeous ocean and people watching all make this place worth a visit after walking the Marginal Way.

Very good food. Nice sized portions. Fantastic views of the ocean. Our waiter Kellan was very courteous and very professional. Highly recommended👍

We had a great experience today! I took my two kids there, one being an infant. We received very warm welcome at the door! The waiter was also very nice! The lobster is quite fresh and lightly flavored which is what I like. The seafood trio is not bad, all seafood is grilled rather than deep fried which is great. The clam chowder soup is the best! It tastes a lot better than many other fancier places, the taste is fresh and not super salty. The only bummer is they the restaurant does not make their own chips/fries and bread, they are directly bought from grocery stores. Seafood price is quite reasonable. Fantastic view and location!!

One of our favorite places in Ogunquit. Seafood chowder is a must have, and they consistently have better lobsters than anywhere else.

Nice family restaurant right on the ocean at the entrance to the Marginal Way. It's wonderful to eat your meal with a full view of the ocean right outside! You can get anything here from a simple lunch to a full dinner. Anything I've ever gotten off the menu was delicious, and the prices are pretty decent too for seafood. Conveniently located next to the boat tour loading dock, as well as lots of fun shops in Perkins Cove. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Wow.... amazing as always. Lobster salad and steamers are so delicious. Mum had baked stuffed lobster and it tasted great. Our waiter was very attentive. Great view and so worth the price.

Great food here. The crab roll was excellent. Great flavors and texture and even the bun was great. The blueberry ale had little blueberry floaties. Got a kick out of watching those moving around. The blue berry lemon cake was something you should not miss. They make it there. Views are nice if you get seated by the windows or outside. Another customer came over to the table asking what our dessert was, she saw them bring it to the table and watched as four people shared the huge piece. Not sure if the slice is always that large. Everyone was happy with the food.

Excellent Service, Good Food and spectacular view. Came across this restaurant after Marginal Way along the coast. Hit it just right and got a table right next to the ocean. Wait staff was super efficient and timely and the food was above average and reasonably priced. Will def return in the future.

Great place for dinner. Portions were perfect. We had the spinach and artichoke dip with chips and crab melts. Their carrot cake is AMAZING. The chocolate cake was delicious as well. The view of the water was gorgeous from our table. 10/10 would recommend.
