Went there for my birthday dinner with my brother and sister in law. First time I've ever experienced real sushi and I was in heaven. We ordered 3 different rolls. And each one was better than the next! They also accommodated to my gluten and they made sure they were very careful. Which I super appreciated. Service and staff were great! I can't wait to take my husband there for a dinner date.

Everything about lunch here was great! My boyfriend and I were able to walk from our hotel on Pearl St NW, the staff and our server were friendly, and the food was incredible. We were both very happy with the sushi we ordered.

Nick, our bartender and server was excellent and handled our special requests. We didn't see nigiri on the menu but requested it and they went above and beyond to deliver some amazing sushi. He also suggested the soy and dragon rolls and they were also enjoyable. We liked everything about our experience and highly recommend it to any sushi lover.

Went on a first date to Maru and everything about it was absolutely amazing. Our food was incredible, our drinks were amazing, and our waitress, Rachel, was absolutely the best. We both will be back for another date night in the future.

Had my first meal at the Bridge St location Tuesday night Dec 19. It was excellent as expected. Our waitress (regretfully I cannot remember her name) did a great job and was very attentive. The food was incredible and everyone was super clean.

This is turning into one of my favorite places to eat. Very good ramen, pad Thai, and sushi. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of seating, and I usually have no issues getting a seat. The ambiance is great. Super modern, but it still feels warm. The have a really great bar too.

I have loved Ando since my first visit! The food is consistently phenomenal and I love it's location on the Westside just outside of downtown. My wife and I eat here 1-2 times a month now and we would eat there more if we could afford to--not to say it's overpriced but eating out every night just isn't responsible! Service is always prompt and professional.

Pro tip: Sundays are happy hour all day and the happy hour specials are great! Don't skip on the gyoza! It's SO good!

Maru Sushi Bridge Street is an excellent meal option and another well-managed restaurant in Michigan's Maru chain. Expect to wait a while for your food especially if you are with a group, because everything is prepared and served fresh. But it's worth the wait! The sushi rolls are delicious (both fish and veg options), and the hibachi meals are also a savory option.

My favorite Japanese restaurant. Crouching tiger roll is by far my favorite and the tonkotsu ramen is also a great choice. Fair price $17/person always a good spot to eat with friends
Make sure you can find parking tho

Some of the best sushi in Grand Rapids, good deals and great sushi. The sweet and spicy tofu appetizer was delicious, crunchy and very flavorful. The signature rolls and standard rolls are all really enjoyable, definitely mix and match and try a few. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The service is also amazing, the employees there are very friendly and helpful!

Will be delighted to return soon.

Great experience and dinner!! First off I want to give a shout out to our server! He was fantastic and accommodating to our larger party, to include our kids.
Drinks were made well and very enjoyable.
The sushi was delicious! We tried several rolls and loved them all. The salmon sashimi was like butter. I’ve had sushi around the world and Maru holds it own!! We will be back. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, go here.

We usually go to the Cherry St location but we're closer to this one so made a reservation for Sat night online. I needed to add +2 and called and it was no problem.

Food was delicious as always. Service was good. Food came out a little slower than usual but we aren't usually here on a Sat night either.

Good stuff! I'd come back if in the area for sure.

Great Asian food (check); interesting dining experience (check); amazing mouth-watering menu (check); expensive (double ✔)....but worth it. I'm not much for tea but u gotta try the black jasmine tea...yes, it's $6 but worth it. Staff friendly but overworked, bathroom clean, atmosphere very trending.

Both of our sushi choices were recommended by the server based on our personal tastes. The server did a great job and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would definitely recommend and I will go back!

The ambiance was very nice and it took us awhile to actually figure out what we wanted because everything on the menu looked amazing. If you're a fan of Maru you won't be disappointed.

I went to ando for lunch today for the first time... Its very nice inside with a few different seating options. inside, then a patio like area thats still inside but with big open doors so there is a nice breeze, and then the outdoor patio area with a few umbrellas for shade. The food was absolutely delicious and served in a timely fashion. No super long waits and they were fairly busy. I will deffinetly be returning

I was there for a weekday business lunch event. The server was nice and helped to navigate the information found on the menu to everyone's benefit. Great food, interior design and ambiance with floor to ceiling windows.

While the flavors were not the absolute best I've had, the food was still very tasty. The thing that shines is how fresh the ingredients tasted. The atmosphere was very clean and modern. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

I always have a great time at Ando. The bibimbap is fantastic, best I've had stateside, and one of the only places to get around here. Cocktails are creative and well made. I highly recommend the green tea gimlet. Good for a large group if you have a reservation.
