What an absolute perfect spot for a date night. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful in describing menu items.

We couldn't choose between the arancini and meatballs appetizers so we got both! I'm so glad we did. Both were just delightful.

For our mains we got the bolognese and gnocchi entrees. Both were devine. Fresh flavors and ingredients.

Rounding things out with the pumpkin bread pudding and an espresso martini! We already can't wait to go back.

We stopped here on our way up to visit family a little bit further north in Maine. I have to admit, we were in comfortable traveling clothes and upon arriving, realized we were quite underdressed for this restaurant. I was very thankful to all of the staff for treating us equitably.
Our waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the menu, kind, and efficient. The food was a bit on the expensive side, but worth every penny because it was perfectly plated and delicious.

Note: The menu online is a sample menu. This means that it may not be exactly the same as in the restaurant. One of my travel companions was excited about a burger on the menu online, but there was no burger/sandwich section on the menu in the restaurant. Just a quick note to keep in mind before you try this place out.

The food is very delicious. Clam chowder is creamy by not overly thick full of clams. The roasted halibut is exquisite as well as the venison. Atmosphere and service are pleasant. Large windows towards Shore Road are fun watching the coming and goings. Definitely worth a visit!

Almost everything about our experience here was great. I had linguine with clams and it was hands-down one of the best pasta dishes I've had. The white wine sauce was perfectly balanced and delicious. They did not drown the pasta in it. My wife had the chicken piadina, which was also very good. Kids had the burger and devoured it. All of the deserts were also, fantastic. I had the olive oil cake with apricots and, once again, the balance was perfect. Not too sweet, not to heavy. Delicious.

The service was a little on the slow side and the prices were a little high but it's a tourist spot so both of those are to be expected. We had a great experience and I can easily recommend this place.

Thank you Eric for the best dining experience in many years. Thank you Shawn for the great service. The menu had great variety and seasonally fresh. The vegetarian options were excellent and well thought and executed. I am so glad I visited your restaurant. Done good! Thank you for reminding me about the dill bread story. Lol

The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Nice, relaxed ambiance and efficient service. A person that was leaving as we walked in said “you are really going to have a good time”. We knew it because it was our third visit…

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Five-O Shore Road this week, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience.

This restaurant boasts a rich history in Ogunquit, one that is typically passed down (in our case overheard) through the folklore of long-term patrons.

To begin with, the drinks were nothing short of fantastic. With a robust beer selection and inventive cocktails, our pre-dinner drinks were both enjoyable and sophisticated. Shaun, the bartender, welcomed us with engaging conversation and introduced us to a charming coconut ginger martini.

While the drinks set a high standard, what truly impressed us were the main courses. I had the privilege of savoring their signature Bolognese, a dish that left a lasting impression. My wife, on the other hand, was treated to an exquisite swordfish dish that exceeded all expectations.

Additionally, I must highly recommend trying their meatballs and warmed olives. These appetizers, although not part of our main courses, were a delightful surprise and added to the overall culinary experience.

What truly stood out, however, was their exceptional wine offering and cozy atmosphere. Five-O Shore Road boasts a wide variety of French whites, most notably carrying our favorite, Sancerre. This wine selection elevated our dining experience and complemented our meals beautifully.

Should we decide to journey back to Ogunquit in the future, there is no doubt that Five-O Shore Road will be our restaurant of choice.

No jokes this is some if the best food I've ever had 10/10 recommended. The waiter took away from the experience a little but the food and drinks were too good to care.

This place was incredible. The closest thing to Italian food away from Italy. You could sit here for hours chatting over a bottle of wine and feel right at home. Highly recommended.

Wonderful dining experience here! The ambience is lovely, and the food even better. We got the arancini appetizer, seafood risotto, and lasagnette — all delicious! Plus, they accommodated an allergy with the risotto. Would love to come back!

We found ourselves without reservations for dinner Saturday night and went to the Five O and were able to get a table in the lounge. It was great. The food was wonderfully prepared and the bartender who was taking care of us and everyone else was amazing. We would go back to be in the lounge again, even though we have eaten in the dining room several times in the past, which was always on point. You won't be disappointed.

You can always count on great food and drinks at Five-O! We usually end up in the bar area. This time I was dining alone, and was lucky to get a seat at the bar. We always meet interesting and friendly people there, including the wait staff and bartenders. The Bolognese was superb! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ogunquit, a town that’s loaded with good restaurants.

Went there for our anniversary, 7:30 res. Walked in and sat right down. The waitress was great, cute and funny. We had chicken breast over risotto and a Cod special. Both were awesome. Paired with a Cakebread chard. Tables overlook Shore road and are separated by large windows suspended from the ceiling. Lets you have a private conversation. Overall excellent experience start to finish!

We didnt have a reservation but were able to find a table for us and our baby near the bar. Our waitress was very friendly and enthsuistically shared her favorites off the menu upon request. I had the ginger martini it was divine, the grilled octopus was good, but it had alot of kalamata olives and capers so be prepared for a strong olive flavor that unfortunately is slightly overwhelming. My boyfriend had the swordfish it was excellent, I had the bolognese which was very good. We finished with the chocolate Pana Cota that was topped with a superb caramel and a espresso whipped cream. Will definitely be back next trip.

What a great dinner! Drinks food and service were all fantastic. Lobster risotto was 10/10. Great selection of specialty drinks. Prices are very reasonable. If you have to drive parking in the lot on the street next to the restaurant is your best option. If you are in town I highly recommend having a nice dinner at Five-O.

A nice upmarket restaurant, with excellent service. We had the vegetarian option which was some really tasty rice patties (that description does not do them justice!). They were really tasty, and a very creative offering - miles ahead of what most restaurants of this quality offer for vegetarians. Not cheap, but worth it for a good night out. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

It's January and we came here on a Friday so it wasn't too crowded. It's a beautiful, cozy Italian restaurant. I had the Caesar salad and Bolognese. I absolutely loved the Bolognese because the pasta was thin and I think many places make it too thick. The salad was super cold and crispy. Our server was attentive and accommodating. It's a little more pricey and upscale than the other restaurants in the area, but totally worth it.
