Amazing bread and very fresh ingredients. I really love the vegan options, especially the tofu sandwich. The flavors of the seasoned tofu, mushrooms, and sauce work so well together! Definitely one of my favorite sandwiches in GR. They also support their community by selling local art and other goods. Highly recommend this spot, for vegan food and for everyone else too

Beautiful space buzzing with energy on a Saturday morning. Kind staff! Ample seating! The vegan skillet was delicious, great cook on the veggies and tasty cashew cream sauce. My partner tried the vegan special and the red sauce and blue corn tortillas were phenomenal. I wish this breakfast became a regular menu item. We will definitely be coming back!!

love the amount of seating at Field and Fire. The atmosphere is really inviting, comfortable and clean. I had the jasmine fog tea - with butterfly pea (one of their winter specials) it was delicious! I tried the eggnog danish - delectable also. It was a perfect spot to sit with a friend and catch up with some cozy drinks

Wow! I just had the most delicious turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich I have ever had! So fresh and flavorful, it was amazing!!
The oat milk vanilla latte was off the charts delicious too. Will definitely be back even though I hate going anywhere downtown.

We came for lunch although I got a breakfast dish, vegan nutcase skillet, and my friends got sandwiches. We all loved the food. It was resh and delicious, and looked great. One of my friends and I decided to try the pastries too, and weren't disappointed. My Runeberg torte was delicious, dense and moist. My friend loved the chocolate cake as well.

not sure if pastries rotate flavors often, but if so, could you please add vegan chocolate cake or muffins or something decadent? 😍 even chocolate chip cookie would be phenomenal!
chocolate is my jam. pastry options today were cranberry cake or muffin and molasses cookie.
oh and their coffee is superb. 10/10!

The staff is very friendly , the location is very spacious. Their breads are excellent , had them before at farmers market. Croissant is flaky & buttery. Nice pastry offerings and breads.

Field & Fire Cafe was an unexpected surprise. Having been through for coffee several times while showing condos on Monroe, I was aware of this spot but hadn’t actually sat down to take more of it in.

The pastries were so amazing they were devoured before I had a chance to snap photos, so standby for more. If you stop in, get a few pastries with your coffee…hungry or not. You won’t regret it.

What I was completely unprepared for was the breakfast. This isn’t a hosted restaurant where you’re sat down and taken care of by one person, you order at the counter and sit down, so the fast-food style order of things didn’t prepare me for what was to come.

I ordered eggs benedict and they knocked it out of the park. The food was delivered to our table within a couple minutes and everything was cooked to perfectly.

Oh, and the coffee is FANTASTIC.

Cute coffee shop, bakery, and cafe with indoor seating and to go ordering. There is fresh baked pastries and bread, coffee, and food options with plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices. Laid back atmosphere, high chairs and booster seats are available for kids.

Order at the counter and they will bring out your food and drinks. We really enjoyed the hot mess skillet and the breakfast burrito.

I’ve eaten here several times and found it very good. Staff are helpful and friendly. Usually get an americano or carmel latte, both are excellent.
Latest stop I had the American breakfast, it was delicious, and the jelly was super! They carry some great breads, and good pastries to go along with a coffee break. Very clean, I really like this place, and the shelters are very clean as well. Definitely a nice place to stop at. Off street parking is a big plus.

Great breakfast options. I had a Chorizo and egg dish and my wife had a fried egg and bacon sandwich. The breads tasted homemade and the coffee was excellent. We got an egg nogg crossaint and specialty coffee. They even offered to adjust the sweetness of the coffee. It was busy, but we got served quickly and drinks were made on the spot. A hot spot for locals who had their weekly or daily visit and would sit to read to paper. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick brunch.

On my travels from Denver I’m glad I found this little gem. Warm with mid-west pleasantries, pastries, balanced coffee, and a hot mess skillet, this made our “Don’t miss stop” in Grand Rapids. At F&F, even a simple baguette boasts a creamy sourdough starter and mixed grains of rye & wheat. (60-2-2, I bet they followed all the rules?) It is totally delicious…I not sure it even needs butter.

My favorite place in downtown Grand Rapids:) I love their coffees. Because I eat only halal, I can find vegetarian options for lunch there with no issues. It is walking distance from GRRC where I work.

Good hangout place which has breakfast & lunch options along with awesome coffee options . The coffee here is the best, I tried in more than 6 coffee shops in GRR, i felt this place has the best coffee. Great pancakes & toast. Ambience is also good. Service was quick.Friendly staff. This place is just by the Grand river walkway. Pleasant area to have a walk & stop by this place in the morning for a good start to the day.

Great place to catch up and have brunch with a friend they do you have outside seating and the food is very healthy. A lot of great options and the staff was very friendly and kind and the place was very clean.

I am OBSESSED with field & fire!! This has been my mom's go-to bakery for baguettes (she is very picky about her bread), and we recently started to come here for brunch. The grilled cheese, english muffin sando, butternut squash soup, farmers market harvest bowl, and croissants are all fantastic! Everything we've tried is so yummy, I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu🤭🤩

This delightful little cafe was a short walk from where we were staying. The chai was delicious as was the toast with butter and jam. I also had a side of bacon that was perfect!

Perfect place to stop for breakfast. Fresh made bread and pastries, healthy and vegan options, and local coffee. Serving sizes are large and the pricing of items is great based on serving size, a problem I often run into with high quality breakfast. Lots of outdoor seating and plentiful parking in a district that is much less busy than downtown.
