The Front Yard was highly recommended by the proprietors of the Sassy Olive and they were spot on! Upon arrival for dinner we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess named Angelina. We had met her earlier in the day when we popped in to view the menu and make a reservation. She was very polite, and knowledgeable about the menu, she was a joy to deal with, always had a smile on her face and made us feel very welcomed. Our dinners were phenomenal. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the, lobster and shrimp ala vodka. Hats off to the chef, excellent meals. Our server was Jackie, she was excellent, very attentive, friendly, and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this restaurant, the menu is great and the prices are fair. Also the cocktails were fantastic and reasonably priced. And most of all, there's a great staff working there.

We ate at the Front Yard Saturday 3/23/24, our meals and service was excellent. The Octopus we had for an appetizer was tender and so delicious. Our meals were delicious also, I had the Lobster and Shrimp with papperdelli ale vodka and my wife had the seafood baulabaise. Jenni was our waitress and she was awesome.

Went for the first time for dinner with my husband. Throughly impressed! The patio was comfortable and the heaters were appreciated. Fantastic service, entrees were both incredible! My husbands surf and turf was the best he had in years. We will be back!!

Went for dinner with a group of other moms, and everyone was very happy. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. I had a pasta dish that was perfection. And I could have easily eaten any dish from our table and would have been just as happy. The only downside was that the creme brulee was over done, or was curdled because of the added lemon (not sure which) but they took it off our bill. I can't wait to go back and bring my husband.

The food and service was spectacular! We started off with the focaccia and the grilled octopus. The octopus was so good!! We got the rack of lamb and the lobster all a vodka for our entrees. Good sized portions, really fresh and delicious. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is only an 8ish minute walk from the center of town, do NOT let it deter you that it's not right downtown. They have an amazing ambiance, outdoor bar and lawn games. Modern decor and very clean. The bar serves up super balanced drinks. The house-made parpadelli should be unavoidable if you come here. We had the bouillabaisse and will have to come back for the pasta vodka. Their bread is amazing, mussels were a flavor bomb and risotto; creamy, delicious and the saffron puts it over the edge. If you're staying in Ogunquit.... Go here, you won't be disappointed.

I wish this place was my front yard!! The atmosphere is exactly that! Friendly, social, and fun! I'm sure there are no wrong dishes to choose but the brussel sprouts are THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER! Atleast that was the opinion of the three of us that had them! It is now my goal to figure that recipe out for my #nevertrustaskinnycook page. If in Ogunquit... you should definitely enjoy The Front Yard!

We have driven by many times, so this was our first time eating here. The drinks were delicious and well prepared. We had the mussels and crab cake for appetizers, the mussels were the best I have ever had anywhere! The entrées were also delicious. We had the Duck and the Shrimp and pasta dish. The lemon cake for dessert was also great. We look forward to many more dining experiences here!

Wow, I'm impressed! I've been curious about this place but I don't eat out often. Gave it a try after seeing a show at the ogunquit playhouse and was thoroughly delighted with my meal as were the others in my party. Far enough away from route one that you don't even hear the traffic on the patio which is my biggest gripe with the route one restaurants.Waitress was friendly. The entire menu looked amazing, I had a hard time picking. Nice atmosphere on the patio. Our swordfish and scallops were to die for. Gelato was amazing too. A plus! Already trying to figure out when I can come back to try the duck. ❤

Had a very positive experience. Busy night out on Rt. 1. Headed in for appetizers and cocktails at the outside bar. They were very busy. Bar was very clean, nice outside furnishings, open & spacious - several comfortable options. Service was excellent, someone always there if you needed something. We had margaritas and appetizers. Drinks were well made and good looking. We had the burrata with roasted squash, prawns in a spicy buttery sauce with crostini and a Mediterranean seafood chowder. Then added the meatballs and flatbread. Good presentation but meatballs were very garlicky. All looked great and overall most everything was tasty. Everything came out promptly. They served salty focaccia bread. All in all, very good. It is a little pricey - it would be tough for a couple to leave with a tab lower than $100. Was glad to see someone turn this spot around (it had struggled before, when other owners & concepts fell flat). Parking was a bonus.

Really pleasantly happy with my meal. I thought all the food was excellent.
Main courses ranged from $28 to $44.
Loved the duck with its apricot sauce. It was served on top of farro which as of now, I am a big fan of. The rack of lamb was also wonderful. They served a nice size portion of three double rib. Cooked perfectly. Also had the swordfish which I recommend. All nice size portions.
Save room for desert. If you like chocolate, finish your meal with the truffle cake.
All the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful.
If you are in OGT, make sure you have dinner here at least once.

Great outdoor bar, food and service. Also nice for people watching and conversation. We ate at the bar because reservations were full which was perfect actually.

We order Pinot grigio, peach smash bourbon and cucumber gin Collins. Dinner was one of the best we had compared to many of the restaurants in the area. We got the Duck Magret and Lobster Pappardelle. And for desert was the bluebet lemon cake, yum!

Can't wait to be back.

Lobster and shrimp pasta was amaaaaaazeballz. Interior is subpar tho (see my photos), I recommend waiting as long as it takes to be outdoor, which is really really nice. Didn't try any other meals but, again, the pasta were off the charts

Great atmosphere, wonderful food. Really enjoyed our experience at The Front Yard. I very much enjoyed the bouillabaisse, my partner especially enjoyed the watercress salad with added lobster. The lobster was especially delicious and very easy to eat! A must restaurant if you are in Ogunquit! Don’t miss it!

Wow!! We didn't have a reservation, but we were still treated like royalty. We sat at a table in the bar, and it was very nice. It was a little loud, but I almost expect Mediterranean places to be lively anyway so it didn't bother us at all. The food was exquisite and the drinks were very delectable! I will make a reservation next time (and there will be a next time) for sure!

We had the seafood risotto and the lobster in vodka sauce. Both were fabulous!!!

We loved everything about this restaurant except the music. “Canned” smooth jazz made it feel like a dentist’s waiting room not a fine dining restaurant. PLEASE, change up your music to fit the food and decor.

Have been here in the summer for drinks outside on patio but first time here for dinner. Staff was very attentive, martinis were killer, and the food was much better than I was expecting. Short rib dinner and lobster and shrimp combo in vodka sauce were to die for. You have to check this place out. We ate at bar area which had a lot of activity, fun environment.

This is a great restaurant with both indoor & outdoor dining. Outdoors offers full dining at comfortable tables, some near fire pits, and an outdoor bar. Inside is a modern and cosy atmosphere. Regardless of which you choose, the excellent menu offers an array of specialty drinks, appetizers, sandwiches, and dinners to enjoy!
