Discovery Wilderness School

My daughter has gone to Discovery Wilderness School for three years now and absolutely loves it. The teachers are so knowledgeable and kind to the kids. They go above and beyond to make each kid feel comfortable. My daughter has learned so much about trees and plants and animals and can't wait to go each week.

Two of my children are attending Discovery Wilderness School this year and we love everything about this school so much! My kids look forward to going every week and they have learned so much about nature and how to appreciate the beautiful world we live in. All the teachers and staff are so wonderful and really care about the children and spending time with them each week. I highly recommend this school!

My daughter has been going to Discovery Wilderness School for two years and within those two years she continues to thrive! DWS has nurtured her love of learning and nature. We also love that DWS fosters hands on learning, learning in mixed age groups, the importance of play, and being outside. My daughter has truly deepened her connection and knowledge of nature. DWS is a true gift and because of her experience I know my daughter is going to be a steward of the land and an advocate for the environment. She absolutely adores her teachers and the community environment that DWS instills. We love our nature school days!

My oldest son started attending Discovery this past year and loves it! The community is so welcoming. The intentional time in nature has greatly impacted my son. The teachers are authentic and very knowledgeable.

My two children ages 8 and 5 love DWS! They have learned so much about all things in the forest, how to be good stewards of the land, fire safety and we even learned how to tap maple trees as a family. I love how many birds and tree types they can identify and give facts about. The staff and teachers are all so genuine and kind. Such a fun experience for my kids!

My son has grown so much in this program socially and emotionally! His knowledge of nature has expanded immensely as well as his empathy.
