What a little gem! We were on the way to Northern Maine for the Total Solar Eclipse and booked this hotel on the day of our stay. I was so pleased with the rooms being extremely nice and clean. All rooms entrances are interior and it really feels like a luxurious place. Also our kids got occupied with some games and books that were on the shelf in the hallway.

Customer above all else.

What more can I say? The Grand Hotel Ogunquit is THE place to stay while visiting this lovely town. My wife and I visited for our babymoon and plan to do so again, thanks to our great experience.

We arrived late at night but the hotel staff, notably Heidi, had everything prepared for our arrival. Room key, instructions and plenty of thoughtful notes were left for us for our arrival. We felt as we were in GREAT hands. The level of service was above and beyond and to the highest level of understanding for us. We also felt very comfortable and welcomed thanks to the notes left for us.

Rooms were great, very roomy with a living room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Tons of space for sure. The hotel also has a heated indoor pool that we didn't use as we forgot bathing suits, and an outdoor hot tub. No breakfast served but there is a coffee bar available each morning.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. A mile-ish walk to downtown, less than half mile walk to Perkins Cove and conveniently located close to plenty of great food and shop spots. Also, the trolley makes a stop at the hotel, so an easy $5 will get you where you need to go if you don't feel like walking.

All in all, the Grand Hotel Ogunquit is a great stay for first timers and returning visitors. Expect nothing but the best here.

This was our first visit to The Grand Hotel. 🏨 It's a quaint little place, we just loved our balcony, with the birds singing every morning. The Hotel sits just far enough from the hectic center of town and close enough to ⛱ the beaches with a short walk.. The indoor wading pool and the hot tub are added perks as well. Our room was themed with a nautical design, including tasteful prints of the surrounding lighthouses and ⛱ beaches of Maine. How Lovely! Can't wait for our next visit, we will be back! 🏖⛵🌞🌊

This was our 1st time in Ogunquit and our 1st time staying at The Grand Hotel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends. We stayed 5 nights and I honestly have no complaints! The location is excellent and we were centered perfectly to walk in to town or walk to Perkins Cove and on the coastal trail called Marginal Way.
The lady at the front desk was very nice and efficient assigning our room quickly and professionally.
Our room was huge with 2 rooms and 2 TVs with a king bed and sectional. It was very clean with no odors or dust as I read in previous reviews.
It gave us plenty of room to be comfortable. The bathroom was clean with fresh clean towels and I was impressed when we got immediate hot water to shower!
There was no continental breakfast but with all the restaurants in town it's not necessary and more fun to walk to get any meal at a local restaurant.
There was hot tea and coffee offered in the lobby daily but I must say after walking outside most of the day exploring the hot apple cider was the best!! It was delicious and I loved it!
Parking is free and not a problem with plenty of spaces to park. I suggest just leaving your car at the hotel and if you're able to walk everywhere.
The A.C. and heat in the room worked great and we controlled the temperature as we like with no issues. The microwave and refrigerator came in handy with our leftovers as well as plates, bowls and silverware.
The cleaning staff were very nice and always helpful and doing a great job.
We really enjoyed staying here and hope to return in the future!

Blew away my expectations. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping were extremely helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the size of the room, and the amenities such as the pool + hot tub. The room was clean, more modern then the pictures, and the balcony was nice. Great location. Only issue was the parking. Tight spots, if you have big truck or SUV it might be for difficult to squeeze in.

They reserved parking out front for us, as promised. Check in was easy and friendly. We loved the room. It was spacious, clean, and nicely styled. I went for a dip in the pool (about 3' deep) and used the hot tub...nice after a long drive. No breakfast in the a.m. due to covid but they had coffee and tea. Hotel is walking distance to the marginal way and Perkins cove. Would recommend.

Our second stay here this season did not disappoint. Amazing room with fireplace and full size deck. We are within walking distance to everything, and took advantage and walked everywhere! Although we came at a time when maid service was suspended, all of our needs were met, and Cody at the front desk exhibits profound customer service! I see a late fall escape in our near future! ❤

The room was spacious and clean. The outdoor patio was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond for us. We left items in the closet. They sent us a message letting us know they had found them. They held the items for us for a month until relatives (who already had a trip to Ogunquit planned) could stop by and pick the items up.

We've now stayed at this hotel at least 6 times or so over the last few years. Both without kids and now with young kids. When we visit the NH/ME we always try to stay here. We typically come off season when they have really good rates. The location is great, short walk to the main beach, restaurants, Marignal way path, and downtown. The suites are very spacious and great for a longer stay. The rooms have nice small outdoor deck. The beds/pillows are always good although we're not too picky. The staff is always very friendly. They have a nice little pool and hot tub. Covered parking underneath the hotel. They used to have a nice little breakfast bar pre-covid, I wish they would bring that back but still always have coffee out in the lobby and it's usually pretty decent coffee too! We plan to continue coming here at least once a year! Highly recommend you check it out when coming to Ogunquit, we came here our first time here and have never even checked other spots when we come now

Great end room suite. Love the deck, wine glasses, opener real dishes were just on top because we only needed the glasses and it was nice to drink out of a glass rather than a plastic cup. Room was comfy, quiet and relaxing.. short walk to the beach. Definitely a great place to stay and will come back again.. excellent restaurant recommendation..

Stayed there for a few nights while in town. Perfect location between the beach and the cove. Rooms were cozy. Balcony is a plus. Pool and hot tub were also a great plus. Parking is also great as there is an underground garage. Just a nice place overall. Definitely would stay again when in town.

Stayed two nights at the hotel in August and the location was perfect! I could walk to everything so I didn’t have to worry about parking to see this lovely little town.

Been here for the third time and will choose Grand Hotel again. We have two kids under 10 years so the heated pool and hot tub was a big hit. Putting us across from the pool was a smart choice and made our stay enjoyable. We took out a few movies, enjoyed the free cookies and fruit that was always out and especially loved the super-sized continental breakfast that is much more than just your average "continental". The rooms are large and clean with a nice balcony off the bedroom to lay out your wet bathing suits. The best part is the location: halfway to Perkins Cove and halfway to the beach entrance of Marginal Way. Front desk is friendly and knowledgeable. Also, you're granted access to their sister hotel's amenities which is a nice bonus.

Very nice hotel. Very clean, nice bed. We had a suite and a little balcony where we ate lobster rolls and laughed at the chipmunk in the garden.

Clean, available, friendly, nicely center located to everything, quieter locale than closer to town. Rooms spacious and bed great. Price right as limited views. Shower heads are for shorter people even at 5'9 I was ducking a bit but small issue. We'll be back...loved it. Thanks for being so accommodating and clean!

Upon arrival we, (me and my wife) were greeted with a warm welcome for our first time at The Grand. We had the Penthouse on the third floor. The room was perfect; adorned with a homey, yet classy feel. It had one king bed, nice bathroom, TV in both rooms and a couch. The deck was very large and private. The room was beautiful and perfectly clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the sound maker was a wonderful surprise. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub. Although the pool was small as most hotels are, it was very clean and warm. It was very relaxing in the hot tub because it is outside and we were able to enjoy the night sky in a quiet environment with trees surrounding us making it feel all the more lovely. My wife said she felt like she was in a tree house. The location was perfect; walking distance to everything and the breakfast was exactly what a continental style breakfast should be. We loved how there was a movie lending library and the selection was excellent. After a long day it was nice to watch a good movie. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for things to be more perfect. This will be a place we plan to always return to.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel based upon a friend's recommendation who visits Ogunquit frequently. The staff were very friendly and professional, and they were able to accommodate our late evening arrival. Our room (Suite #303) was very clean and nicely appointed. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance to town and Perkins Cove. We would definitely stay here again!
