Veterans Memorial Park

A park that has so much meaning yet beautiful to walkthrough day or night for tourists and residents alike. My night strolls brought me here and it is a sight to see. Great masonry work and sculptures that are not only historic and meaningful for depicting our history but a great addition to a city that is on the rise that would love to place our part in history. I recommend seeing it for yourself. Enjoy!

Lovely park dedicated to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country. I was very impressed with the reverence in which the statues and cenotaphs were created and displayed. I think Grand rapids did a wonderful job in commemorating their beloved veterans

Nice memorial. Quite and peaceful. Free to come and go. There are benches set around the fountain. Its a large fountain, you can sit around the edge if you like. There are trees and grassy areas; some of the foliage provides a mild screening effect filtering out some of city hustle and bustle. Enjoy.

It is a very cool place. Reflect on the past days that this country kicked out Vets to the curb. Now, they are honored. Thank you Vets. ❤

This place is so serene. It makes you forget time and space. I felt so tranquil when visiting. I wanted to just stay as long as I could to relax and clear my mind. Just cool out from all the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is a beautiful park . Its a great place to see all the names of all the men that made the utiment sacrifice for are country.The park has all the names of everyone who hase died in all our wars.Its rather surprising how many men that were lost in kent county all there names are listed there.The only bad thing i would say about the park was there were a few homeless liying around.

Okay I'm on love with this park. You get a little bit of everything!! Nice people, poor people, kids, adults... I mean it's next to the library! But I never really pay attention to the memorial. 🤦

Very well maintained park and beautiful setting. My friend and I discovered it while driving around at nighttime after going to the Grand Rapids Civic theater. It's a wonderful tribute.

As a combat veteran myself, was very moved by the beauty of this park. The purple heart memorial marker was very emotional for me, haven lost fellow brothers in arms during certain operations. It's nice to have a park here in Grand Rapids that honors veterans. Thank You.

This is a beautiful place. Dedicated to the one's who sacrifice their lives. Great memorial. Easy access. Wheel chair accessable. But also names of those who does.

Always clean, a great place to rest when exploring downtown or needing to pullover when exercising. 2 PokemonGo gyms, and beautiful at night.

A nice park to memorialize those that have served in the US Armed Forces in the past. Stopping by the Veterans Memorial Park, 101 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 is a nice thing to do in downtown.
