Jim and the crew at Venom did an amazing job with the purchase, mounting and balancing of my new wheels. From talking through what I needed that would fit my budget, to making sure they were properly balanced (not easy with beadlocks!). Top notch, friendly and fast service from start to finish.

I have worked with Jim for years now and all I can say is he is TOP NOTCH! Jim and his team do everything that they can to make sure what you want gets done. Jim has went above and beyond my expectations with my jeep and I could not be more impressed.

Jim and his team were top notch through the entire process! I needed new tires for my F150, and decided to upgrade wheels and a lift kit, from stock. He was very easy to work with, and encouraged me to take my time selecting the right wheels for me. I never once felt like I was being “sold”, but rather felt like he was looking out for my best interest. Once I made my selection, they had the parts within a few days, installed promptly and had me on the road in no time. A big thanks to Venom Motorsports of Plainfield!

This is the place for all your off road vehicle, truck or in my case a high performance motor build. Jim and his staff are exceptionally knowledgeable in getting the job done right and sticking behind their work. My project for them was a supercharged dodge hemi 5.7 for a Superbee. The new engine and install went perfect and the car is better than the day it was manufactured. Their mechanics are the best!

Can't say enough good things about my experience working/talking with Jim up front. He was very informative and willing to help troubleshoot through some of my particular challenges. And Luke did a great job on the installation.

I had them mount my new tires and wheels along with install a Van Compass Suspension lift and a front recovery point/hook on my 2021 Ford Transit AWD. Suffice to say, I through them a curve ball with my tire/wheel combination that gave 3 different shops a heck of a time. Ultimately, after discussing with the wheel manufacturer, I had to switch to a different set of tires. Still a challenge (one shop insisted it wasn't possible), but Venom got it done.

Anyway, I WILL be back again probably for this vehicle and likely others. Thanks so much!

Brought my Colorado here to have work done on my King suspension and they did a great job. Jim is extremely easy to work with and kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle throughout the entire process. He even had my truck warming up for me when I came to pick it up in the middle of a snowstorm.

Jim and the guys there are some of (if not the) best around when it comes to aftermarket off road parts and install in Grand Rapids. I have a 2018 GMC Sierra lifted 3 inches on 33s. I took it to FOUR alignment shops to try and get my pulling and camber issue fixed to no avail. Took it to venom off of a family members reccomendation and after a 5 minute explanation and one test drive they found multiple issues caused by the other alignment shops and got it dialed in perfectly within an hour. Amazing customer service and amazing techs. Will be building the rest of my truck (3.0L blower and full engine kit) ONLY at venom. Anyone who says these guys are bad were probably just rude or didn’t know what they were talking about. Let the professionals be professionals.

Twice I’ve had work done here and twice they provided exemplary advice on exactly what was needed and performed the work in a professional manner at a reasonable price. Jim went over and above to help with a warranty claim from an aftermarket product that was installed at a GM dealership well before he was paid for any work that he performed. Honest, knowledgeable and fair… it’s all anyone wants when doing business and they deliver an excellent experience. Go see Jim first, and save yourself the hassle and frustration of larger dealership service centers.

Couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience with Venom. Bought a lift for my Jeep and dropped it off at closing on a Wednesday. Jim assured me they could take care of me in a couple days and sure enough I was able to pick it up the following Friday. The service was quick and I’ve been driving it for a week and couldn’t be happier with the feel. Definitely gained my trust. These guys are great!

I took my 08 Mazda hatchback here for a OEM to bc racing BR coil-over swap and was very happy with the results! Jim helped me with quick appointment scheduling and answered all the questions I had. Tony was the installer and I’m super happy it was done by someone who not is only familiar with the parts but similar vehicles also. I provided my own (new) parts, really nice I could do this since I got a deal on them. Will be going back next summer for new aftermarket sway bars!! Overall fantastic experience! Would recommend!

I am posting this for my dad. He had a friend help him with a lift kit for his Chevy Colorado & was assured his friend knew what he was doing. He did not. The truck was riding so rough & had a bunch of broken parts when he called Venom Motorsports to have them look at it. The truck was a mess. It had a lot of broken & missing parts that had to be replaced. Jim went above & beyond to get the parts all warrantied & saved him a lot of money. The work they did to fix this truck was amazing. He couldn’t believe how well it drove after it was fixed. He highly recommends using these guys for any lift kits you need put in your trucks.

The guys here couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. After getting some new tires mounted at the dealership locally that day (great deal) I was having some rub issues on the front driver side. Upon taking a look they discovered clips missing & some sloppy work on the part of the dealership tech. They were more than happy to assist in fixing the rub issue and getting my fender clipped properly in place. I tried to offer some money for their time/ parts but they wouldn't take it. Great guys, I'll definitely be back in the future & would recommend them to others.

Jim and team did a great job for me. I had them install some lights on my truck, very clean and professional job. I will be back for more in the future.

I took my 1973 jeep CJ 5 in to Jim to buy a soft top have it installed as well as get my winch fixed and the guys there are top notch in my opinion I will definitely be back to get more stuff done wether it’s on my jeep or something else I buy great job guys I appreciate it a lot

They did an outstanding job on my LED headlight conversion, their customer service was very helpful and they were able to accept customer parts and really work with me to get the job done where other places would not. I definately will be back to support their business!

I recently ordered some tire/wheels from Venom and they gave me a great deal and accomplished it on the date and time frame they stated. They also included installing a 2.5" Ready Lift spacer kit for me on my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. Additionally they included some extras at no cost to make sure the job was done right!

Venom Motorsports did an excellent job putting a Metalcloak 3.5 lift on my 2012 JK Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Very reasonable price. Also will check tires at 100 miles and then go over whole lift between 500 - 1000 miles. Venom also has a great selection of wheels, parts & accessories and a clearance section. Very clean & organized workshop. Thanks Venom for your outstanding services!

I got a short ram air intake installed at Venom. Super good experience, great people, fair pricing, and quick install. I will for sure go there the next time i need work done for my car
