Great food. It is rated the best burger in Grand Rapids and I can see why. Great balance with ingenuity.

- Stella Blue: Rated best and it had all the hallmarks of a great burger.

- Queso Jalapeno: Spicy! Not kick in the mouth hot, but constant pressure hot. If you like spicy (but not extreme), get it. DELICIOUS!

- Hippie Stuffed: It was Monday and it was half off. I tried it and it was good. I used to go partial vegan and I know how hard it is. Stella's has a reputation for their vegan stuff and I can see why. Fell apart a bit, though.

- Poor Man's Potato Wings: They were GREAT! Awesome texture and crispy. I'd come back for these alone.

- Chronic Fries: Great texture and taste without going overboard with salt. Packs a bit of heat, but not too much.

-Naked Fries: I was not expecting these to be good, but wow. A lot of restaurants don't pay attention to the basics as much, but Stella's does.

The atmosphere is not for everyone. It is not a family friendly hangout. Graffiti in the bathroom was vulgar.

Phenomenal waitress! I think her name was Brooklyn. She was very helpful. The happy hour portions were great. There is a crazy amount of vegan and vegetarian options. I personally found everything to be VERY spicy. But I'm also wimpy haha so for those like me, you know what to expect. I would say it's absolutely worth checking out and I'll absolutely be back! Thank you 😊

Stella’s is so cool!! The atmosphere is punk rock and amazing, including pinball! Lots of vegan options and pretty spicy too, but so good!

Stopped in with my family during ArtPrize - the atmosphere is so fun, love the kitschy vibe, the food was fantastic. I got the blackberry bacon jam grilled cheese and I still think about it from time to time. The chronic fries were wonderful.

Stella’s was the first place we went to after getting to Grand Rapids and it’s a reason I would travel back to the city.

Food was decent, vibes were awesome for a divey place. Overall probably a 4 for me but I feel compelled to upgrade to a 5 because of the plant based options that are shaking up the burger scene. Also open late night which was great for us.

So this atmosphere isn’t for everyone but it is a lot of fun for those who like kitsch. Tons of throwback video games (we love to play Galaga and NBA Jam). Fun 70’s, 80’s & early 90’s TV shows playing and lots of graffiti artwork. It’s a whiskey bar and most servers are pierced and tatted up, but also friendly. We took our kids there when they were younger & now that they are in their 20’s they love it even more. Excellent food. Famous for their burgers. Get the chronic fries. The Road Runner was outstanding!

The big wigs said this place had the best burgers in the United States. So I had to make the drive to try it out for myself.

The theme was pretty sick, and the music selection was good too.

They had a happy hour which was $5 nachos and $2.50 loaded fries. That’s ridiculous. It’s 2023, unheard of.

For the amount of money you pay and the quality of food, I have to agree this place has the best burgers in the United States

Great burger joint with a fun metal ascetic. This is a fun spot for a date night, it’s dark, kind of edgy, and has arcade games. We love the burgers, and the grilled cheese is also bomb. I wouldn’t get the stuffed tots again, those were a little bland. Would recommend this place for a casual, fun place to eat downtown GR.

Very cool atmosphere. The service was standard, the server wasn't overly friendly. When we asked what was on tap her response was kind of rude. She pointed at the QR code and said something along the line of "Im no a book i cant remember everything" Food was amazing.

Stopped in with friends for some food and drinks and were not disappointed! Everyone’s food was really good, particularly the poor man’s wings. So good! And so affordable! Under $50 with food, many drinks, and a good tip. Such a great place!

Always a great experience at Stellas. Wonderful vegan/veg options, decent price for beer and decent selection, fair prices, pretty good service. My only lament is that the dance floor is defunct.

Tried several vegan options, my favorite was surprisingly the "Shrimp" Mac nCheese, but the vegan wings were yummy too and the vegan ranch was AMAZING. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options. Will be back soon!

The food is always amazing! I'm vegan, and I love that they always have good options for me to choose from. At my previous visit, our server was absolutely amazing. He made sure I knew which buns were and weren't vegan and made sure my friend with a gluten allergy knew what options were available for her as well. He checked in on us frequently to see how be liked the food and to top off our waters. We couldn't have asked for a better server. I'm honestly never disappointed when I eat out here!

Our bartender was great and the Bourbon selection was terrific .... EH Taylor and Eagle Rare at reasonable prices!! The place is chock full of vintage games (think PacMan) and has a bit of a dive bar vibe.

Amazing burgers, fries and onion rings. Inventive stuffed burgers on the menu with many to choose from. They also offer many vegetarian/vegan options which my beloved greatly appreciated. Great dipping sauces. Long list of draft brews and cocktails. Awesome interior with eclectic murals throughout the bar. They have outdoor seating as well. Video games from the 80s to get your nostalgia fix. The staff was amazing and you can tell this place has great managers because it runs so well. Great location downtown GR. We will be back.

Great burgers and drinks. I had the basil lemonade and it was delicious and refreshing. My son's loved playing the old fashion video games. The take a quarter to play. Also you have to pay for street parking.

I’m in town for work and this place was such a refreshing find. The aesthetics are super cool, the staff is amazing and helpful, and they have a great Michigan whiskey selection. You definitely have to try this place if you’re in Grand Rapids.

Decent crowd for a Tuesday night. Excellent burger! Loved the chronic fries. Will have to try one of their vegan menu items next time. Amazing music playing for this old punk rocker at a volume I didn’t have to scream over. Very eclectic crowd and laid back atmosphere.comprehensive whisky, bourbon and scotch selection. Becka the super friendly and attentive bartender makes an amazing old fashioned. Highly recommend and will be back.

Had an AMAZING vegan burger - The Krabby Patty. Best meal I’ve ever had there. My non vegan fiance liked it more than his burger. I would recommend to any one! Our server was great as well.
