Went to 6th Street Park to check out the world of winter but also realize it's a pretty neat little space, Love all the artwork all over and there are so many nice shops close by that you could walk to on a nice little day out to the city! Really enjoyed the installations they had up this year.

Great spot on the river! My friends and I did a clean up event here after our church spent many Sunday mornings here early in COVID. They also have exercise equipment which is super cool!

This park meets the Canal Park at the south end, separated by the Sixth Street Bridge. There's a gazebo and picnic tables scattered around. Nice flowers near the gazebo. There are some outdoor exercise equipment both at this park and Canal Park. Starting from this park, you can head all the way to the north of the Canal Park for a nice walk/bike along a paved trail. Finally, there's a lookout at the south end that often has a few people fishing and some in the river.

Edit: Added pictures June 2023.

This park is beautiful, with amazing views of the river and city. I love that they have exercise stations now. I often start my day exercising along the river. There is also a nice little playground for younger children also.

This is such a beautiful area. There are covered pavilions and picnic tables, outdoor fitness equipment, sculptures, and of course, the grand river. It may get a little loud on late nights and weekends now that summer is approaching.

Nice area. Wide sidewalk, wonderful view of the river, goes all the way down to Leonard St., and a lot of sitting areas along the way.

This is truly a place to see if you appreciate art . It's like one big book for the family . Each one is like a maze but instead of having a pen you do it your self . Kids love it and I enjoy watching them . Also when walking over the bridge the river is memorizing.

Great spot in the center of the Rapids in Grand Rapids. Great short visit park. Bring little bread for fish if u want.. Don't know that's environmentally sound, but traditional.

Peacefully nested downtown grand rapids, a beautiful river front escape from the hustle of the city. Minutes away from downtown.

The park here is gorgeous - very clean and well kept. It is great for running or walking, or having a bite to eat alongside the river. The sixth street bridge is iconic and provides a lot of character to the whole area. You can fish here as well! The location is ideal, with plenty of options for food/drink/alcohol within walking distance. Take your date down here, order carry out from somewhere nearby, and walk down to the park to eat. Go for a walk along the river afterwards and you guys will be married in no time.
