What to the breakaway festival at this venue. This venue had a beautiful view of the sunset. I had an amazing grassy Hill to sit on. You could overlook the entire festival it was beautiful. There's also a big area down below where you can dance, dance, dance the night away. The drinks were extremely pricey. They could have had some more food vendors it was very packed I don't feel that there was enough food for the people the lines were extremely long. The sound quality was pretty dang good. There was a silent disco up above the hill in the main stage below the hill. Security was doing their job but they were also not too harsh. The bathroom facilities were not horrible but they could have had a few more but I've definitely seen worse I'd have to give them a six out of ten for the bathroom. I felt like the venue was well-lit with also the appropriate amount of darkness depending on the atmosphere you wanted to relax in. I will definitely be back to this venue to see a concert. I would also say it is kid friendly. You have to find parking outside of the venue on the so you may have to go for a little walk to get into the venue be aware.

The pickleball courts are very nice, and the lighting is great. Love how they have the courts for different levels of play and challenges.

Had a great time at the upheaval festival at Belknap Park. The only thing I would suggest is moving the food to several different locations around the festival. The way they had the porta potties right next to the food area was not very appetizing and it caused huge traffic jams of people trying to get through the lines of food. People ended up cutting lines that were already an hour long for some foods (burgers, pizza). All around beautiful space tho!

I rode a bicycle there for Upheaval festival. I go to that festival often. And getting the Island Noodles is a must every year. They are the best!

We visited for the Upheaval Festival and were not at all disappointed! The event staff did an amazing job maintaining the park, were friendly and the festival itself seemed very well put together! Would highly recommend events here.

Really great venue. Loved the set up. The hill can be a struggle, but the shuttles were appreciated. The food trucks were perfect to have. Quality food and variety. Allows chairs and bags. Instant 5 star.

Upheaval festival!! 2 stages, rocking performances awesome food and merch vendors! Everyone should check it out.. it gets better every year.

Upheaval was a phenomenal experience, I'm so excited to start going every year. Got to bring someone for their first music festival ever, will 100% be going again. Just wish there was easier access to water and shade, it gets HOT out there.

Was out here for the 2-day Upheaval Festival, it was awesome! Not a big fan of that hill for 2nd stage, but it was cool to sit there and see some of the bands from afar. Hope they do it again next year.

Awesome place for any outdoor event. The makes for a great view definitely would go back just wish that they had the Porta potties on the other end away from the food. Not great for parking either but it was pretty easy to navigate.

Love watching my grandson play hockey here! The facilities here are always clean and it's a lot of fun to go and watch these kids learning how to skate and some of the fundamentals of hockey.

Nice place. Running up the hill is horrible but is a great H.I.I.T workout. I’m not sure if the baseball field is open to the public but it’s well taken care of and would be a great place to have a community event.
Pickleball is very popular here! Courts are almost always occupied!

Great place to play pickleball! 20+ outdoor courts, free to play on. People I've met there are super nice.

Upheaval concert was an awesome venue. super hot very little to no shade.

Belknap Park is a great place to play baseball in the summer, sled in the winter and get a nice view of Grand Rapids whenever you feel it’s right. Take you significant other there and watch the sunset. It’s beautiful. It’s also the home of Breakaway Festival which brings popular artists to the city every year. Check it out!

Awesome spot for pickleball. Very well organized by GR Pickleball club. Open play allows you to jump in with other players in an orderly way, test out your skill level and keep moving around. Haven’t met a mean or snobby person here yet, the community is welcoming and friendly. GR is lucky to have a facility of this magnitude! No public bathroom but clean porta potties on site.

Went to an event at the park, also my first time there. Definitely is an amazing space to enjoy. I could imagine the views can be pretty spectacular. Would definitely visit this place again.

I love this area and live right behind the park. Although I have never played pickle ball it looks like alot of fun. You can hear the cheers of people all afternoon!
