Great authentic road side tacos! I had the asada, pastor, and Elotes. All of the meat was well seasoned, juicy and tender. Shells were double layered. Onions and cilantro were fresh. The Elotes were tangy, crunchy, juicy, and just a little spicy.
The parking lot is small, but there is plenty of space on the street. No restrooms that I saw, walk up to order, window to grab it when it's done. Ample seating outside.
Prices were fair, food was great, overall recommend!

SOO GOOD! Every time I come to GR to visit family we come here. Serving sizes are massive. Don’t think that the onions have bell peppers in them, they are japabenos.

Legit tacos make me happy, so this place made me extremely happy.

Two Pastor, Two Pollo! Cilantro, onion, splash of lime and a bit of either salsa verde or roja, that's all you need, don't over complicated things.

The best tacos come from unassuming spots and this place is no exception. I likely could have had another 8 after my first 4.

Food was amazing, but cold by the time it got to us. Service was fast and they were able to get through a sizable line rather quickly. The price of the food was quite reasonable though!

We ate right at the picnic tables outside and do not recommend as there was a bee that was really after our entire meal.

I love this place, great food and wonderful staff who are always pleasant. I usually go with Barbacoa Burrito but everything I have ordered has been worth it. The large Quesadilla is also on point. Quick pick up window is a nice perk as well.

Tacos el Cuñado's sells authentic Mexican food at its best. And they serve generous servings. They serve take out no dine in. The only problem is the very small outside seating they provide for waiting.

Best tacos on the west side. The Al Pastor is better than any I’ve had before. Food is ready is less than 5 minutes. Can’t get enough of this place. The gorditas are great roo!

We loved everything about this place. Easy to order, fast food, delicious meal! We ordered the tacos in chicken, beef, chorizo, and beef tongue. All amazing. Also got the quesabirria. So good.

Went a little out of my way to visit Tacos El Cuñado on the way to the airport because I saw they had cabeza and lengua tacos on the menu - so glad I did! They were out of lengua, but the cabeza and chorizo tacos were awesome, and bigger than I had expected.

Since moving to Michigan from the West Coast, I've had a hard time finding truly great Mexican food. This was as authentic as anything I remember eating before I moved to Michigan. I highly recommend it.

I love this place. I get a burrito (asada, barbacoa or shrimp) 4 times a week.

I’ve been to Mexico several times, from Juarez and Tijuana, to Xalapa, Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Chihuahua and a myriad of other small and medium towns. I’ve also been all over the country and Mexican food is one of my go-to cuisines in many cities, so what I’m about to say is a big deal.

This is the best Mexican food spot, not just in the city, but on this side of the Rio Grande. The service is fantastic, the workers are polite, and every location is clean and consistent.

You don’t need anywhere else for Mexican food, especially if you’re in a hurry.

Very good tacos and some outdoor seating in the summer. Worth a visit if you’re passing through, or lived here all your life.

Quick and delicious! I got an American taco with marinated pork. Loved it! The pork had so much flavor. The green sauce they send on the side would be good on anything. We also got a steak quesadilla and that was amazing too. Can't wait to go back!

I just visited here for the first time. It is real authentic Mexican food. The staff was very friendly. I had the American style tacos; chicken, shrimp and beef. The were accommodating when I asked for no cilantro. I had a Harrison drink. Service was very fast. I took it to go but there are some picnic benches to eat at. Parking is limited but there is a public park nearby.

Very quick turnaround from ordering to getting your food. I highly recommend the tacos and guacamole. Such yummy food!!

We stopped by for free Tacos! Tacos El Cuñado has been one of our davorite spots for years. Local community owned eatery with authentic Mexican fare. So good! And how can you beat free tacos? Their other restaurants are also great. Especially their tamales!

IMO best tacos el cuñado location. Order through the phone so you don't have to wait in line. No more taco tuesday, but I don't mind paying $3 each for good tacos! Oh and try the aguas frescas.
