North Fishing Site

I've been going to the park all my life. After being away for 23 years me and my wife took the dogs for a walk and decided to revisit the park . I was pleasantly surprised of the upgrades and the paths for walking and bicycling along the river. Seen beautiful wildlife and a Eagle. We will be back.

A little peace and serenity watching nature and the animals. Clean and quiet metropark here in Michigan.

I'm not a fisherman but this is a nice place along the Huron River and also has a good, easy place to launch and land kayaks and canoes.

Beautiful views. Quiet area . Seen people fishing but not catching . Can't eat the fish from the river anyway. But it's very nice spot for thinking and watching planes

Recent updates to parking lot and picnic area are great. Clear focus on accessibility for wheelchairs and dedicated unloading area for kayaks with trailer parking! Great upgrade to park!

Early in the season still spring wasn't thinking beautiful place but I forgot my mosquito spray so I was moving pretty fast as I pass through this area not actually running but moving pretty fast don't forget your mosquito repellent

Close to the house. Great deals on sport bras here. Just wish they had 3 packs of all white bras though. Very good prices!!! Some of the best deals around. Open 24 hours!

Parking is close. Site is right inside the 94/haggerty rd entrance. Wide segment of river and plenty of room to fish. Dont recommend going after a big storm or a lot of rain. River is swollen and will be moving way too fast for decent fishing.

Site also has picnic tables and grills

Nice, new parking lot. This is my go-to parking spot when biking in the metroparks. They also made it easier to load and unload kayaks.

Beautiful spot, our first time fishing here. Didn't catch anything. But there's a bald eagle that has a nest visible from this spot. Neat

Beautiful park and friendly atmosphere....
Although, it's not a fish to eat area.
Highly recommended NOT to eat the fish caught in the area we found....

Great park. Annual permits keep increasing.

Plenty of amenities for a full day of family fun. Social retards can come and get drunk too.

White Bass runs May 1 through June 7.
