Karl's Cabin Restaurant & Banquets in Plymouth

Happy to see they’re back open! Have enjoyed a few meals here and always excellent. Most stuff is homemade and it shows. Such a great spot. Love it in the summer with the patio. Lots to choose from and all is great. Service is great too.
The fish sandwich is a favorite as is the crab dip (with real crab and lots of it). The chili garlic shrimp app was great. The steak dip sandwich was really good too. Hard to pick a side, they’re all good (fries, coleslaw, mac n cheese).
Great wine list too!
Everything was amazing as always, highly recommend.

Wow. This was our first visit since their remodeling. Prior to the fire, we’ve dined at Karl’s a handful of times. Karl’s is conveniently located with a large, free parking lot. Every time we’ve visited Karl’s we were greeted by friends and welcoming staff. What I love the most about Karl’s Cabin is they are true in their atmosphere with large wood burning fire places, natural fixtures and the ideal cabin vibes. Each meal we’ve experienced at Karl’s has been great. Make sure you add Karl’s to your list of stops, you won’t regret it!

I'm so ecstatic that Karl's Cabin is open again! You were greatly missed. I've always loved the atmosphere of this place. The warmth it brings to me and my family when we frequent here. With inflation on a rise, I feel like the quality of food is not worth the price you pay. Karl's Cabin is NOT that place. You're definitely going to get quality food for a great price! The staff enhances your experience with their top-notch customer service. I can't wait to have more great memories here!

A lot of options when it comes to drinks. We ordered cocktails and they didn't disappoint. Appetizers were really good, the duck and mozzarella sticks are a must. For the entrees my baseball cut steak was a little bit under cooked, but the rest of the table they ordered braised short rib was amazing, and it will be my order the next time we're there.

James was awesome and his service and demeanor made our first visit to Karl’s - spectacular!!!’ Food was amazing and presentation was awesome! The samon dish and the jambalaya were well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was fun and festive-don’t wait to go!!!!

Loved karls cabin! The fish and chips were super tasty. The batter was extra crunchy and fresh! The ale onion soup wasn't quite my favorite but my husband loved it! So if you enjoy more bitter beer tastes you'd probably like the onion soup! Service was great too! Will definitely be visiting again. Very cozy spot

I absolutely love Karl's Cabin. The food was absolutely amazing, and our waitress Violetta was absolutely amazing. I will always recommend everyone to eat there! I'm so glad they were able to reopen because we absolutely missed eating there. Thank you for having a wonderful restaurant! This will always be our favorite spot!

The walleye was incredible! Great flexibility in ordering "what comes with your entree". Every person in our group of 7 enjoyed the meal he or she ordered. Don't miss out on dessert - delicious!!
Highly recommend that you put this on your list of places to try. The menu is extensive, and the prices are reasonable. Oh, and the drinks are fabulous too!

Service here is very good, food is usually well prepared. Our favorites are the walleye with delicious lemony cream sauce, the fried chicken sandwich (made from scratch!) And the creamy crab dip. They make beautiful salads and I ask to upgrade to a salad instead of fries. It is loud in the main dining room, the Lodge is quieter. I recommend making a reservation as they're very busy, if you don't want to wait.

We had dinner at Karl’s tonight and it was excellent. The waitress Shauna was amazing. She was very nice, attentive and had great recommendations. I would highly recommend the Shrimp and Scallop Angelina. Also had a yummy burger and one of the new desserts she recommended. Apple crumb sometimes. Delicious! That’s Shauna for making our dinner experience wonderful.

We had reservations for 12 people at 7pm on a Sunday. The waitress was "GREAT". She did everything she could to make the evening go well. The cooks were giving her grief. Some of our parties' meat wasn't cooked properly. The manager even came over to talk to those persons. Some of us thought the prices were a little high. Overall, the food was good tasting. I would go back but only for a special occasion.

Such a great experience, love the atmosphere! The food was amazing and so was the service. Dean was our waiter and he is one of the best we have had in a long time. Very attentive and kind. We got the mozzarella sticks, a burger, and the cauliflower gnocchi. We also got beers and an old fashioned. It was all delicious and we will definitely be back!

They really hustle at Karl’s! It is great to have a place so close to home that is always solid. If anything I’d say the staff get overwhelmed at times but that is too be expected with a lot going on. Food is fresh and great, everyone is friendly and accommodating.

I had my first Maurice Salad. It was great. I took the leftovers home and had two more meals. It was still great.
My family has reservations here at Carl's Cabin for Easter.
It will be a nice time.

I had a great lunch with my friend and exchanged Christmas Gifts. It was my first time at Karl's Cabin Restaurant.

Our waiter's service was a little bit not organized, drinks for 3 people were served in two stages and late.The food was served on top of our finished appetizer dishes ( we had to push them on the side and they sat there for about 10 min). Bread and butter we had to ask for it because we saw it at other tables, which got them without asking. Salt/pepper not served, not even asked. Food was excellent. Drinks perfect taste. The waiter's service was poor. We will be back and I highly recommend this place for a family outing!

Had a fantastic experience dining here with my grandpa on 12/6/23. To start- our server, Miranda, was amazing. She was very attentive, paid attention to the small details, and always made sure our water glasses were full. For being a busy night and a full house, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dinner. Next, the food was fantastic! We ordered the crab dip for an app and let me tell you- that crab dip was the best appetizer I’ve ever had! It was creamy and delicious. We also ordered the half rack of ribs and the fish and chips- they were both so yummy, hot, and fresh. Will definitely be back and am so happy this place opened back up. Kudos to all!

Very happy that Karl's has rebounded so successfully. Always enjoy their delicious, fresh menu and excellent service. And their beautiful renovation had patrons lined up to take group pictures by the welcoming fireplace. Need to get back there ASAP.

This was the venue for a girls-night-out. We made a reservation and were seated upon arrival. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! I will definitely be visiting again for a date night with the hubby!

First time there...generally speaking I rarely give 5 star reviews. This was the exception. Great food, great service, and a very cool atmosphere. Our server Shauna was excellent. We'll be back for sure.
