This place gives you a taste of the historic big woods of MN. There are some rough unmaintained trails but really it's easy to walk anywhere about. The canopy is tall and shaded that there really is no understory of trees, brush or shrubs. There is no parking area all you can do is pull on to the shoulder of the highway.

It was just ok. Not much to see here. We went in the winter and went for a walk. Saw a couple of deer but thats about it
