Rick's Gourmet Ice Cream

I love this place! I've tried many of their flavors, from Mint Moose Tracks to Pistacio to Lemon Sorbet to Ginger Ice Cream and ALL are delicious. With the help of an insulated bag I carry for such occasions, I purchase at least a quart or two to give when visiting friends. In my insulated bag, I've had the quarts easily last an hour and a half to my destination. This is my favorite ice cream place!

They were friendly and have a massive selection of ice cream from 4 New England creameries.

If you are looking for a cold treat this is the place to go!

It's been over three years since last stepped into Rick's shop, miss your frozen custard so much! Been enjoying since the Center at Keene location.

Rick's ice cream was amazing. I got a hot fudge sundae with almond bar and vanilla ice cream, marshmallow, whip cream cherry. Very yummy. Almond bar tasted like an almond joy. My son got Monster Mash ice cream in a cone. Which is a vanilla ice cream with m & m and a bunch of other stuff loaded.

Rick is nice. I went there once and he read Goodnight Moon to me while I ate rocky road. He then showed me his foot which I found perplexing. He also collects antique bagel knives.

Bite into Maine had a variety of lobster roll flavors. However trying a variety, I decided that I like the one with warm butter best still. The other flavors like wasabi and curry are mixed into mayo and add a very mild flavoring. While the don't overwhelm the subtle lobster flavor they don't enhance it like butter. Do an interesting experiment once and not to be repeated. However, the butter variety is very good. Two lobster rolls and two cokes, tax and tip were 93 dollars.

Posting this on behalf of my brother and parents as well as myself. As my mom has a dairy allergy, soft serve has been off her diet for well over a decade since she was diagnosed. Not only is there vegan options, but they taste wonderful (she got the blackberry flavor.) They don't have any variety like this in Brattleboro from what I can tell. We all enjoyed our picks, though I did have a caveat with my waffle cone which broke in half in the paper holder, though the majority of the ice cream stayed in the upper half so I just ate it like that.

Best ice cream shop in New England! I love the strawberry cheesecake ice cream, and I typically get it in a "monsta milkshake". It's 32 oz of heaven. This place is a must try if your visiting.

Awesome place! Great ice cream!! Their homemade /cookies/cakes are fantastic! The girls are always super helpful and very friendly! My only negative is that guy behind the counter could be more friendly. He always seems to be in a poor mood.

Ice cream was amazing!! Good portions. Staff was wearing masks, the counters had face shields etc. My kids were so excited to get to go get ice cream. ( they waited in the car)

Great place for a treat. Many flavors to choose from with additional toppings. Small area for seating so you may need to take it to go but worth it. Quality ice cream.

Cotton candy + cotton candy candy + gummy bears equals the best dinner I've had in ages. The ice cream was fantastic and the staff was really friendly. I will definitely be eating at Rick's again.

The very best ice cream in the Keene, NH area hands down.

Lots of things to chose from, staff was friendly, relatively cheap, and ice cream was good. One of the few places around that carried ginger ice cream, which was great. Definitely will be heading back again if we're in the area.

My family and I found this hidden gem about a month ago on our search for ice cream as it’s one of our favorite pastimes. The staff are always friendly and the ice cream, well worth the 30 min drive!
