Estate at Maplewood

This is a very warm, welcoming home that has been restored beautifully. From the moment we walk through the door to when we were leaving, we felt like family. Plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Fun and inventive specials. The food was delicious, the staff very attentive and the atmosphere relaxing. I will definitely be back! Thank you for an enjoyable evening!

Stopped there on Saturday to sit down with our contractor regarding a local renovation. Had a great meeting in a relaxed atmosphere in a back room by the fireplace and topped it off with a superb lunch. Can't wait to go again, it will be very soon!

I have been to the estate at Maplewood numerous times. I always bring my family and friends there when they visit. I have never had a bad meal there. Nor has anyone I’ve brought there. The owner, who I’ve seen there helping his staff when they’ve been busy and the staff themselves are always so nice and friendly. They always check to see if u need anything, and to make sure everything is good. I recommend this place to everyone I talk with. But best of all they have a vegan burger now n my daughter is vegan and can join us for dinner. Give it a try if u haven’t yet. It’s a great night out.

What a beautiful place. Had a great meal, delicious. Chicken Gorgonzola was to die for! My husband ate the rack of ribs, fell right off the bone. The Mac and cheese sauce was good, but was a little bland. Great selection of drink and meal options.

Our waitress Linda was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Prime Rib end cut and Halibut were both very good. The macaroni and cheese was out of this world. We would definitely go back. Nice atmosphere too.

Had our first meal tonight. The building is amazing and a product of its time and the ground surrounding it are beautiful. The food was excellent, probably the best brisket I've ever had. Pulled pork nachos were really tasty as well. Service was wonderful despite being a little short staffed. Highly recommended!

I've dinned several times at the Estate of Maplewood as well as ordered takeout. The food is always really good, the staff is great and the owner is very accommodating and professional.
Love the atmosphere and the grounds are beautiful. Looking forward to more events/dinners at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

I've been here a few times. Once to get together with friends and most recently for my best friends rehearsal dinner. The owner is incredibly accommodating! The food was very good. He came around to check on us to make sure we were all set and taken care of! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!!

Hands down best restaurant in the area. Amazing BBQ, really great atmosphere and beautifully maintained outdoor space. Must visit!!

Amazing local gem located in the rolling hills of Otsego County on Route 20. Totally renovated circa 1760 mansion. When you go, introduce yourself to Jeff, behind the bar. And ask for Linda's section for dinner... she is terrific. Monday is "fun-day" with Scott behind the keyboard. The menu and food are both over the top.

We stopped last Friday night for dinner and went in at a very busy time. We got the last two seats in the bar area. Layla the bartender had a full bar and was also dealing with computer issues on the register. She handled the entire situation with professionalism and never missed a beat. We ate at the bar and the food and service were phenomenal. Definitely going back.

Wow! Local hotel owner sent us here saying it was good and they were right! Solid BBQ that was fork tender and good bark. Baked beans were especially good.

The building itself enhances the experience. Just a really good, unique place.

We had the loaded fries appetizer and then I had the pulled pork Mac & cheese bowl and both were so amazing! The atmosphere is also very cool, kinda like a castle! We sat at big wooden picnic tables (inside) that were comfy. Also discovered a hangout space with shuffleboard, a pool table, and darts on our way out that looked fun! If it looks busy, still give it a shot because there was an event in the house that a lot of people were parked for, and hardly anyone in the restaurant!

We had a wonderful meal at Maplewood. Best fish fry ever! The atmosphere inside and out was just lovely.

This place is AWESOME. We dined on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived we were approached by a server who let us choose where we'd like to sit. There are a few areas to chose from, we chose the room with the open fireplace. (Atmosphere is really neat) We had a really good strawberry margarita by the fireplace while we looked thru the menu. We ordered the wings (bbq and hot sauce mixed) THEY WERE SO GOOD. Crispy and full of flavor. We also tried the pick 2 platter- ribs and brisket- to die for. We met the owner John- He was so friendly. since it was a slow period for them he gave us a tour of the place and chatted for a bit. Definitely try this place. You will not be disappointed!

What an awesome addition to the area. We came with a large group on a Thursday evening and enjoyed a short wait by the large fireplace with a cold cocktail. We had a variety of great BBQ dishes and several appetizers. Our favorites were the brisket, pulled pork nachos, and Route 20 burger. You most definitely need to make this a stop on your way through upstate NY.

Had a surprise party there; food was great and place is lovely and spacious! Highly recommend!
