Visiting Elysian Cafe was an absolute delight! The ambiance was charming and cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a delightful dining experience. The Elysian Burger was a flavor explosion - perfectly juicy beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings all sandwiched between a soft, toasted bun. Every bite was a culinary delight! Even the Veggie Burger exceeded expectations, with a delicious blend of fresh veggies and savory seasonings. Combined with friendly service, Elysian Cafe truly delivers a memorable dining experience worth revisiting!

Went here for dinner a couple nights ago and it was the best food I’ve had in a while. We got the mussels and poutine as appetizers, the mussels are a must get, very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The skirt steak was my favorite, the chicken and gnocchi were also good. All of the food tasted fresh and well made, the staff were friendly and the overall interior was cozy and inviting.

Didn’t have a reservation, but a table became available quickly. The food was delicious, portions aren’t big but they are filling. The baked chicken was dry. Loved the salmon meal was incredible. Pricing is reasonable.

Our waiter was great, the atmosphere was just good. The music wasn’t audible when sitting outside.

Convenient meet up spot for bunch with folks in Jersey. Ferry ride from the west side to Hoboken 14th Street. The place was able to accommodate 10 in the back room. The service was very welcoming, attentive and quick. The food was very good. Had a really nice time here.

It has very nice atmosphere and sophisticated decorations. The foods( fish taco and calamari salad) and cocktails were amazing.

The service was excellent! Due to a train snafu from NYC, my guest was 30 minutes late for our reservation; however, I was still seated while I waited. The servers were attentive to the perfect degree. The outdoor seating had great opportunities for people watching and ample umbrellas to shield from the summer sun. The avocado toast with a side of eggs and fresh fruit was excellent. I would definitely recommend to others and plan to return again.

From the moment we walked in to Elysian, we were hooked. The historic decor/architecture inside really set a fun atmosphere. As we were admiring the walls and ceilings the manager approached us and started telling us some of the history. He was as nice and as friendly as could be. He highly recommended the poutine and it did not disappoint. All of the other food we ordered was delicious and the other wait staff was nice and friendly as well.

If you want delicious food for a good price in a old style restaurant with an authentic atmosphere and friendly people, then this is the place you're looking for.

The food here is phenomenal. The lobster roll was perfectly seasoned and came with a lightly dressed arugula salad. The French fries were perfectly crisp and just the right level of salt. We also had the French toast which similarly had the right level of seasoning. I like the interior design, especially the ceiling. Service was fast and friendly. You can also choose to sit outside for some fresh air.

My wife and I ate here recently for an early dinner on a Friday evening and plan to return. We enjoyed the grilled octopus for our appetizer, I had the grilled cheese with bacon and my wife ordered the fish and chips. We each had a glass of vino to pair with our food. Prices were reasonable and the food quality was good. We would recommend.

Delicious grilled chicken sandwiches! Super flavorful. Each ingredient was well prepped and delicious on its own and perfectly balanced together. The fries were also great. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite go to places. I absolutely love this place. I have been many times over the years and every dish I have tried is fantastic.
Many times for brunch, it can be difficult to get in without a reservation, so plan ahead.
The only thing I would change is the water served - there are always a lot of particles in it... better filtered water would be nice.

Historic restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Food sometimes fails to “wow,” and I tend to gravitate more to the bar menu offerings than the formal entrees. One thing I wouldn’t miss are the French fries, which are always perfectly crispy!

Ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich; I ate so much I feel like I'm gonna die, but at least I'll die happy. Hands down the best steak sandwich/lunch I've ever had. Had to eat it 20 min after it was delivered but even still, it was amazing. Bread held up well and was the perfect texture, mozz was gooey, onion rings were still crunchy and provided sweetness, and that thin sliced prime rib was so juicy and flavorful. Super well balanced. And the fries! So good, thin and still crisp, although a little heavy on the salt. $20 well spent, but I do recommend either splitting with someone or getting the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad option. Definitely stopping by in person.

I went to have a lunch, the food was delicious. I ordered onion soup and the Quiche with salad!!!.. everything was good, The ambientance and the service were really good !!.. I recommend this restaurant

Great brunch place! We have been there on multiple occasions as large group, couple, family with young kids and always have a great experience. The owner is very accommodating and the food is delicious.

Didn't have a reservation for Sunday brunch but managed to snag seats at the bar. Food and cocktails were fantastic. Would absolutely go back.

This place is perfect for a casual date or meetup. The food quality is great. I love that they offer the option of half a sandwich and half a soup. I definitely recommend the outdoor space if the weather allows - the indoor area is still nice.

Very cute little restaurant on a corner! Food is amazingly good. Everything we tried was fantastic. The poutines is one of the best I have ever had. Charcuterie board has some good variety too. The miso salmon was to die for! Definitely try the creme brulee - so incredibly good! Definitely call ahead for a reservation! Recommend!
