Losurdo’s was amazing!

Very classic NJ Italian deli. Has the 70s vibes to it still which is chefs kiss. There will be a small line no matter what time you go - but quick and worth it!

We got the Losurdo (chicken parm style sandwich) and this is a must - the basalamic and peppers are too die for.

We also had the spicy Italian and this was also amazing. Prices were decent for the size of the subs - around $10 a piece .

Will be back!

The sandwiches were really good. The service was amazing. I just wish the prices can be a bit more transparent. We ordered one with a full loaf of bread and a different one with half a loaf of bread, the total was $41. It was a lot of food but we almost didn't bring enough cash. I can't find prices listed anywhere, and other reviews don't seem to talk about prices either.

So we had a long layover in Newark yesterday. We decided to find a highly rated local deli. Losurdo’s did not disappoint! Everyone there was friendly and suggested we try a few different items , all of which were excellent. We ended up ordering prosciutto and mozzarella sandwiches. We also had the cannolis, which were absolutely outstanding. If you plan on taking food home with you (via a surrounding airport), they have Bonilla hot/cold bags. Personally, I would recommend a larger cooler. We took prosciutto, and mozzarella along with a dozen pieces of scamorza. Our flight was delayed an additional 4 hours, not to mention the cross country flight following and because we only had the Bonilla bags, it was very difficult to keep cool. But in the end it was completely worth it. Outstanding experience, worth every penny and we plan on returning as soon as we can.

Some of the best sandwiches in town. There is a board near the deli area with some listed suggestions, but they’ll basically put whatever you want in a sandwich.

There are some interesting pantry style items here, but I wish there was more of this available.

The best focaccia in town hands down. The focaccia is fresh, oily, crunchy, fluffy and the tomatoes are nice and plump. I have to hold myself back to not finish it all. Of note, they only serve this on Saturdays.

Sandwiches are also delicious and packed with meat. They do not skimp.

Their service is also fantastic too. They are extremely nice and accommodating.

Old School. Coming here for over 40 years. Same quality same people.
Moved out of Hudson County 30 years ago. Still coming home to my roots. Was interviewed for a YouTube Munchie Video today. Classic visit. "That's Italian"

Best classic deli in Hoboken with a nice Italian imports section, prices are reasonable for the area. They do not skimp on fillings! Takeout only, cash only. A true asset to the neighborhood.

I had one of the best sandwiches ever here. The prosciutto and hot capicollo we're amazing. They have a great selection of meats and Italian specialties and the bread was extremely fresh. Highly recommend trying this place.

A Hoboken institution. Everything is good - sandwiches, bread, sides, cheese, cold cuts, and coffee too. Good assortment of products from Italy as well.

This place is one of a kind. It’s my go-to deli. Their sandwiches are fresh and they always provide great service. I also used them for a catering order and the food was a huge hit and reasonably priced! Deli is family owned and you can feel the care they have towards their customers and community.

Best deli in Hoboken hands down. They make the best Italian sub of all time. Delicious fresh baked bread and awesome old school vibe. Packed with hard to find imported dry goods too! Also, great holiday and weekend specials. Try their pizza on fridays!

I had an Italian sub from here and it’s quite literary blew me away. The bread is so fresh and European in style (crispy on the outside and soft in the middle). Meats and salad were a perfect compliment the flavors just worked! Would highly recommend this place for a sub or any authentic Italian ingredients.

A true local gem, this Italian deli has it all! Family owned and operated, the staff is equally knowledgeable and comforting. This Hoboken staple has everything you crave for a deli from fresh made bread and pizza to beautifully crafted sandwiches and imported goods from Italy. Definitely worth a visit, you’ll become a regular in no time!

Do yourself a favor and grab any one of their subs. All are delicious. If you can get there before they sell out, definitely grab a loaf of sour dough bread. Again, all their feshly baked breads are amazing and you'll be amazed at the freshness and "bite". One of my favorite things here is the smoked mozzarella, you must experience the taste!! This place rocks...a Hoboken staple.

Have been here a couple times and the sandwiches never disappoint! Most recently, I walked in to get some chicken salad to go. I asked about a roll/baguette as they were ringing me up, and the man threw a roll into my bag and said "here try one so you'll know for next time". So friendly and so nice and of course the roll he gave me is just as fresh and delicious as everything else! Best neighborhood deli!
