This Monmouth county park combines experience of the beach walk with trail hiking. I have made a loop from main parking lot along the beach to jetty inlet and returned back via blue trail back to parking lot. Open restrooms with warm water in mid-winter were nice touch (some townships winterize/close them for a season). The only desired improvement would have been paved parking lot.

Nice little park with a beach, dunes, fishing pier, nature trails, and a historic house. Views of Sandy Hook, Manhattan, and Staten Island. Restrooms available. Dog walking is allowed. The beach is your playground!

It's dog friendly, so my Morkie, #CooperHinzman, loves to visit. As soon as we enter the parking lot, he's excited as can be! Beautiful dunes and rebuilt pier jetting out to the bay are treats. On clear days, the NYC skyline can be seen. Restrooms are available, and a handful of picnic tables are available next to the Seabrook-Wilson House. Be sure to pick up a free copy of Monmouth County Parks and Programs Guide, too!

Cute place to visit that is not too far down the shore. Lots of things to find in the sand and where the sea water washes up. Plenty of parking if you come when it’s not busy and no fee to enter

Nice beach area for all. Clean and there are restrooms with hot water and paper towels. The pier is great, Always was. Nice to fish there with plenty to catch. Rangers always patrol and they are awesome. Dog friendly. Kids park. 5 stars. And it's "FREE"

Not a swimming beach but a Great park to enjoy the pier, fish, look for sea shells, and get a tour of a historical building. Restrooms, picnic tables! Had my daughters 8th bday party here. Thank you to the Park Ranger and Kyle for the tour!

Bayshore Waterfront Park is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon during my recent visit to the area, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. If you're seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this park is an absolute must-visit.

First and foremost, the views at Bayshore Waterfront Park are simply breathtaking. The park is nestled along the waterfront, offering panoramic vistas of the sparkling waters and distant horizons. Whether you're walking along the shoreline, enjoying a picnic on the grassy fields, or simply sitting on a bench, the calming beauty of the surroundings is truly mesmerizing.

The park offers a wide range of activities to suit every interest. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the well-maintained trails that wind through lush greenery and offer glimpses of local wildlife. It's a joy to explore the diverse ecosystems, from wetlands to woodlands, and witness the harmony between nature and urban development.

For those who enjoy water activities, Bayshore Waterfront Park provides ample opportunities. Whether you're interested in kayaking, fishing, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the marina, the park caters to all aquatic pursuits. The waterfront promenade is a perfect spot for an evening walk, as the setting sun paints the sky in vibrant hues.

Another highlight of the park is its amenities and facilities. The picnic areas are well-equipped with clean tables, grills, and spacious seating areas, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or a peaceful lunch with friends. The restrooms are well-maintained, and there are plenty of parking spaces available, ensuring convenience for visitors.

I must mention the park's dedication to environmental conservation and education. There are informative signs and displays throughout the park that provide insights into the local flora and fauna, as well as the importance of preserving the delicate ecosystem. It's a wonderful way to engage visitors and raise awareness about the environment.

Lastly, I want to commend the park staff for their attentiveness and maintenance efforts. The park is clean, well-manicured, and always in top condition. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring visitors have a memorable experience.

In conclusion, Bayshore Waterfront Park is a tranquil oasis that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, recreational activities, and relaxation. Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, this park will exceed your expectations. Don't miss the opportunity to explore this hidden gem and immerse yourself in its serene ambiance.

DOG FRIENDLY!!
June 2022
We initially went to Bradley Cove but as we're approaching summer beach season, they're starting to collect cash at the beach entrances/enforcing no dogs allowed until after 6 pm (if you go on a slow day before peak summer beach season, there are off-leash dogs on the beach during the day before 6 pm in the dog beach area). This was the perfect alternative. There's a lot of space if you want your dogs off-leash and away from other beach goers/dogs. Go early for parking & then to Frozen & Flavors for dog-friendly ice cream after!!

Like if this helps so I'll post more reviews & so it'll get bumped to the top so people can see this before wasting a trip there during the day (like I did)!

@cameraonyou for more ❤!

We stopped for a quick night time visit to the shore. The sound of my kids giggling and squealing was the most beautiful sound imaginable. It was stunning area, very clean and welcoming. We can't wait to return next summer.

Nice quiet beach. Not too much trash. Nice sand. Pretty rocks. Clear view of Staten island. The water was freakishly warm and not super clean looking but the beach seemed decently kept and was nice to walk on and enjoy the ocean sounds and views. And don't forget to check out the 1720 house at the park entrance!
PS bathrooms were accessible, stocked and pretty clean too.

Love it here!! Take my pup to enjoy this dog friendly beachfront. The people are chill and there are bathrooms which is nice & love the picnic area which has a bit of shade. Parking can be tough but there is always street parking.

A pretty remote beach, not crowded, free entrance, ... and has the best sunset views!!
The water is a little warmer than other beaches, but not as clean. Regardless, my kids loved it!

Quiet beach and wasn't busy at all when we were there. On a day with good visibility, you can see NYC

Loved this beach. Fishing, sunbathing and relaxing. Restrooms are so close to the beach and the parking is fantastic. Manhattan and Brooklyn could be seen from the beach. We will be back.

It’s a little park with no playground. Walking trail is no big but it’s ok to take a walk. There are benches to sit on.

This beach is great. Has become a lot more popular over the last couple years though. Still more quiet than your typical NJ beach. You can bring you dog which is why we always go here

Would definitely recommend this pier for fishing. We chose this place because it was close to a bathroom and easily accessible for my 90 year old grandfather. It was perfect and we had a blast! It was just what we needed to get some fishing action. :)
