Chen Karl MD

I recently started going to Dr. Chen and I have nothing but amazing things to say.. He is very efficient and is doing every test needed to find out the reasoning behind the way I have been feeling. He is very quick and is doing everything necessary. His staff is also very sweet and helpful! Would definitely recommend :)

Love Dr. Chen!..... Not only is he very professional, precise and efficient ... But he is friendly, sincere and really cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen and address their concerns and finds ways to help and accommodate them where he can.

Three members of my family go to Dr. Chen. Soon a 4th member, who just became an adult, will switch to him. We are very happy with Dr. Chen. He is very knowledgeable and caring. All our medical needs are met. And here is the funny part: every time I suspect I have something, I go to him, and he tells me I have something else. I kind of disagree with him at first, and later, sure enough, he is right, always!

His staff has always been courteous on the phone and in person. They know there job, and I have never had a problem with any of them. Those who complained; perhaps you should re-evaluate on how you treated them!. As far as Dr. Chen and Dr. Santoro, caring and excellent doctors an never a problem. . Highly recommend!!!!

Dr. Chen has got me through the hardest of times. Sincerely cares about his patients. My favorite doctor highly recommend

I have never been more disrespected by a doctor or staff before in my entire life. They talk to you like you're dumb and only care taking money from you. After calling my insurance and clarifying the bill, Dr. Chen still didn't adjust his charges to me. He's an extorsionist more than a doctor. Don’t even go here if you're desperate.

My experiences with Dr. Chen's office are horrible at best. His staff are rude and extremely disrespectful when I come to visit. Even when I had an urgent medical matter to discuss with Dr. Chen, even when there are 0 patients waiting outside, I was referred multiple times to a nurse. So many excuses came out for me to see a nurse instead of him. I'm not sure if this is allowed by insurance companies but he and his staff have continued to treat me in a ill-mannered way. Through phone calls, walk-ins, and appointments, I have been referred with nurses almost every time. The office staff are not trained well. It seems as if everyone works as interns there, not knowing what they are doing. Multiple times I have talked with Dr. Chen regarding his office staff and multiple times I was brushed aside without a second thought. I will be looking for a new primary physician to take care of my needs.

Most incompetent doctor ever! My husband went to see him after he had a fever all weekend and starting getting spots on his torso and back. I mentioned to him he probably had chicken pox as he was exposed to his dad who just had shingles. He told the doctor and showed him the spots. The doctor insisted he had bed bug bites as he recently stayed at The Borgata in Atlantic City. I was weary of this diagnosis and had him get another opinion by Dr Rao. Dr Rao right away said it was definately chicken pox, and an hour later it was confirmed...his spots spread all over his face and body. He is now quarantined at home ;-)

Bad experience with billing staff. They are not intelligent. Same with Doctor. Not a place to establish a long-term relationship.

He is all for the money. Nice at first than forget about it. He would rather see you die than to get a prescription for an ulcer because you owe him 200dollars
