Allaire Dinosaurs

Amazing place for MTB riders and people who enjoy nature and a scenic backdrop. Everyone I encountered was friendly and willing to help or lend directions, especially the locals. Highly recommend if you want a day hike in the woods or to hit some trails with a bike. The dinosaur section is so artfully done and great to sit and absorb some nature.

One of our favorite pleaces to visit. Park at the group campsite entrance. Walk past two gates (they will be closed - go around them). Veer right on the path and just keep straight. It isn't very far at all. If you want a longer hike there is a map you can follow to take a longer route instead of the quick 5-10 minute walk. Lots of unique trees and natural scenery along the way.

We have visit the Dinos many times and my son and his friends love it! The walk to the Dinosaur area is pretty simple if you park outside the group campground entrance. We found a map on ExploringAllaire.com that helped us out a lot.

Cool sculptures a short distance off the trails in Allaire State Park. There are 3 or 4 dinosaurs and some teepees scattered around. Not a difficult walk from where you can park.

Amazing! So much better in person than the pictures that lured me here. 😊 Robin Ruggiero has done an amazing job.

A local person decided to do something wonderful with their quarantine. She has made a few awesome dinosaur sculptures that are worth the trip to see.

Kudos to the person who makes these and maintains these. I am so impressed with your creativity and passion! Even after storms messed up the T. rex I’m glad to see you have updated the look of it , looks great!

Took my niece and nephew here, a fun, easy hike the kids can enjoy. The dinosaurs are handmade by a local artist, pretty awesome!

Very cool display in the Allaire woods, crafted by a local artist. Would recommend a visit!

Beware!!! This place is great but I want to mention something really important since it is recommended for children… there are biking trails that look really fun for kids to go in. They are below ground level. I made the mistake of letting my kids go down and walk through them. Everything was fine and as the last child was walking up and out a biker came. I am so thankful that he saw me shouting for my youngest child to move. He was not able to see my son. Had this been a less cautious man he may have seriously hurt my son. This has been a huge regret for me because he could’ve been injured badly. Be cautious if you are a bike rider or parent because the hills look cool but are dangerous for kids. Cool dinos and easy hike otherwise.

This is really cool. I have zero idea why someone would walk this deep into the woods and chose to do this but I'm stoked that they did. Also, the woods alone here are really cool. Plus dinosaurs. C'mon. You know you like it.

Very cool. Five dinos and a bunch of teepees and benches. Short walk on a nice trail. Kids loved it. Great for a quick outdoor activity.
