Went for a very early morning run here and the trails were great! They could have been a little better marked, to make sure you were following the right direction but they were nice for running.

One of my favorite local parks & hiking area. I love it because there’s so many different trails. You’ll never get bored. The trails can be muddy but easy to follow and is well marked. there’s creeks there’s a lake, bathrooms, picnic tables, a playground. I love to take my dog here we both enjoy it, there’s so much open land and great scenery. There’s many bridges to cross and wooden steps that can challenge your hike. My favorite part is not having to drive so far away to get a good incline and great scenery.

The trails are beautiful and they also have a lot of off trail experience. Dogs are most certainly welcome and I highly recommend. They do have a playground, picnic spot and bathrooms too.

This park is great, playground and clean bathrooms, walk along the river and take in the nature! Joe Woods would approve. Mario would say it’s phenomenal

Shark River has 6 miles of trails to hike, run, walk and bike. They have markers that allow you to follow the path you are taking. Green circle is the EASY trail- short trail intended for casual walking. Blue Square is MODERATE - longer trails intended for hiking and all terrain bicyclists.

This park also has a nice playground, fishing pond, open picnic areas and large group picnic area .

I enjoyed the walk and sitting by the pond can be relaxing. The restrooms are also well maintained.

Went for a hike yesterday on the hottest day of the year so far and it was still very enjoyable, peaceful and beautiful. A deer even came out to say hello. Shark River has 6 miles of trails to hike, run, bike and ride horses with 5 different trails. Three of the trails are multi-use trails and two of them are foot traffic only. The trails range from standard, moderate and challenging. On the Cedar Trail, there are 20 fitness stations with illustrated directions on what to do at each station. Just be very mindful that there are ticks and even staying on the center path, a Lone Star tick still managed to get on me and was the fastest moving tick I’ve ever seen! So, check yourself well after your visit to the park. Fun Fact: Go to the little-known Hillside Road Area/River Access of the Park just off Brighton Ave. to see wildlife, go fishing or launch your kayak or paddleboard in Shark River. I just created a new location for this on Google Maps so you should be able to locate it easily.

Very good trails, ~5 miles. Trail markers could be better, but getting lost and figuring out the way is part of the fun!

Great trails for all abilities. I wish I knew the main trail head with a map was across the road from the park. I started on the opposite side watching my google map for trails - then I cut through a neighborhood then joined the creekside path on the other side of Schoolhouse road. It was quite an adventure!

Nice MTB spot when you need a chance of scenery. A little technical and a little wet in spots. The trail by the river is not for mountain bikes.

Lots of trails and a nice picnic area. Good restrooms. Dog friendly- on a leash. Trails are covered in snow and ice, but still hike worthy. Bring your best snow walking skills!

This is a small park, but is a gem. I went here to ride my bike and to hike. The park is usually quiet and the trails are well marked.. Great place to visit especially down by the river edge trail, scenery is really great in all the seasons.

On this day it was a little muddy, melting snow but is a well maintained park. 2 entrances, we used Gully Road.

A friend introduced me to the trails here. For an out of shape super beginner, some of the constant uphill was challenging, but doable. Had to act like I wasn’t fighting for my life after a 10 minute uphill walk. Overall, it’s really beautiful and I recommend checking it out if you want a relatively easy and safe trail. You will not regret it!

Had a party with almost 80 people there in the main pavilion. It was wonderful. Kurt is an excellent park ranger and was very informative. He even lit a fire for us in this gigantic fireplace. Many guests were happy about that. The park is perfect for a kids party. Thank you to the rest of the staff for the help and information.
