BattleCat Espresso bar: Brew Fiercely

The espresso here is delicious! They use Variety Coffee Roasters, which I've come to love after years of visiting the Manhattan Variety shops. It's inside of Orale, THE most beautiful restaurant in Hoboken. I'm thrilled to have such an excellent specialty coffee shop so close by now. I also really like the service. They're always pleasant and give you a perfect cup every time with a smile and without the usual mundane small talk. It's nice that their hours are different from every other coffee place in the area. This is really the only place I know of that you can get great cafe drinks in the late afternoon-early evening. I really look forward to watching this place grow and trying other drinks on the menu!

BattleCat offers incredible roasts of coffee with excellent service. The owner, Kevin, offers next-level insight into the flavors to expect and often introduces new products that you've never seen before. BattleCat also has coffee cocktails & mocktails. I had never had one before, so I was blown away at how delicious they are.

Amazing coffee, even better customer service. These folks brew with high quality coffee beans from small, independent roasters. Everyone here is super polite and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

I love this place. It’s the only coffee shop downtown that carries specialty coffee. Their cold brew is miles ahead of anywhere else in the area.

No hot coffee (yet), just espresso and cold brew. They serve Modcup (which is a good thing).
