The owner is so nice and attends to all his customers with such great service. And every time that I have ordered or a friend would bring sandwiches for us to eat, it's always fresh deli meat. The mozzarella is so good and fresh. Hands down, Andrea is my new place cause everything is fresh and super good. And the owner is so nice and goes over and above for his customers.

Been coming here for over 20 years and love it!! Live in NC now so it's a treat when I'm able to stop by. I add sundried tomatoes to my Soprano and a little balsamic.

My mother put me on to these sandwiches almost 20 years ago. Same thing everytime , Turkey mozz sun dried tomato balsamic mayo . I started getting them everytime I’m in Jersey city for work , and they are fresh everytime … I love how the shop looks like I stepped into a little piece of Italy with all of the foreign goods on the shelves

I’ve been working in Jersey City (EMS) for two years and just discovered this gem. The soprano sandwich- sopresata, prosciutto, mutz, sun dried tomatoes, olive oil. THE FRESHEST meats and mozzarella. Each menu item is *perfectly* crafted. You’ll often find an ambulance outside as we’re buying lunch- the photo on Google maps can confirm!

Culinary excellence in every sense of the word. Most delicious Italian sandwiches I’ve had, and I lived in bk for 10 years. I wake up thinking about these sandwiches. Samantha and I go every time we’re in Jersey City. Owner Pete and his son Nico are the real deal. Thank you guys !!!!

Came across Andrea's on a food tour, and loved the Soprano so much, we went back after to grab one to go. It's become our favorite italian deli.

Heard good things for awhile finally went and it is all true. The sandwiches, olives, and stuffed pepper shooters the best. Really enjoyed it definitely a great place to eat!

Visiting from Florida, my friend takes me to this place. Said they have the best sandwiches in NJ. Bold statement I thought, so let’s give it a shot. He wasn’t lying. The Soprano sandwich, which is what I got, was out of this world. The man behind the counter made a joke saying that the only thing about that sandwich I should know, is when I finish it, I’ll be able to speak Italian. Might not be able to do that but for a moment I felt like I was actually eating food over there. Every time I come back to NJ I’ll be getting a sandwich here. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

THE BEST Italian deli in the tristate area.

The sandwiches (particularly the soprano) are a slice of heaven on earth.

I was looking for an Italian Deli and glad I found this one, the Italian tuna was delicious and the Italian hero was tasty and fresh. Definitely a must try spot!

Family's been going here for 3 generations, and for good reason. Fresh cold cuts, fresh baked bread every day, homemade mozz, so many imported products from Italy. You'll walk in wanting something and walk out with that plus 4 other things. Voted best deli in NJ multiple times, and it's well deserved. This is a must visit if you're in the area, a neighborhood staple that many hope will stay forever.

Great business & people! Ordered a few turkey subs & you can taste the quality & freshness. Awesome location on central avenue & a well known staple of the city! Highly recommend coming for a quick take out if you want true Italian service & quality.

Okay...so....I'm a Fiores guy. As in Fiores in Hoboken. They've got the best mutz and I love their special sandwiches, but this isn't a review for Fiores. I held out on Andrea Salumeria for too long. I stopped in and finally got an Italian combo. It's their Italian style sandwich, ham salami sopresata cappicola mozzarella and provolone. I added lettuce tomato onion mayo and oil & vinegar to it. Their bread was nice and crunchy on the outside with a soft inside. Can't wait to try more like their soprano or what's up.

I come here nearly weekly, sometimes twice a week. It’s unassuming from the outside but gives an old school Italian vibe once you’re inside, including the family run staff knowing their customer’s by name and order. I tell everyone to try this deli!

I've known Andrea Salumeria since 1972. I've known the original owner Andrea who was a wonderful gentleman and his wife bless their souls. A good friend of mine since the first grade now runs the place. Peter is a good man, and they serve some of the best sandwiches in the state of New Jersey. The cold cuts , The freshly made mozzarella cheese, all the ingredients in the store very well kept. It is a hot place and little old Jersey City New Jersey it's incredible I must stop if you're in Jersey City.

The 'What's Up' Sandwich is now my favorite. The quality of the Italian food is still the best in the area. I have not tried the Homemade Italian Sausage yet but heard its great. Made fresh every Tuesday and is usually all gone by the time I get there.
The Owner is one of the nicest guys I know. Staff is friendly and quick.
And I am not saying that because I got a tee-shirt. You can get them for $18.00 which isn't bad for a great quality shirt.
If you are in the area looking for a fresh sandwich stop in. Tell them John, the 'Cable Guy', sent you.

I have been going to this place since it first opened. Always top quality cold cuts. The Italian sandwich is by far the best. Fresh mozzarella and the mozzarella swirl are also great. I make it a point to go every year at Christmas time. If you are looking for a place to get Real Italian products you have to go here. Please hit like if you liked review Thanx

Great old school Italian deli, not much more you can say. Do yourself a favor and get one of their sandwiches and some fresh mozz. You won't regret it
