Café Sophia

Absolutely DELICIOUS COFFEE! We stayed in Hoboken just a block away from this coffee shop. Because the airbnb coffee machine was a real pain, we just went here for coffee. What a great decision! I am a Starbucks lover & the coffee from this shop was just as great. Did not taste like Starbucks though. We purchased 2 drips & 2 lattes with whole milk & a shot of vanilla. I took a sip in the store heaven…. Just really wonderful & I was raring to go! Took a sip of the latte cold the next day - same. DELICIOUS COFFEE. Small, cute intimate shop. Try it if you can. 10 star review!

I came here to work given the wifi in my house suddenly went out due to the heavy rain storm. Their wifi was strong which was perfect for my needs. I sat there from roughly 11-3 and had breakfast and lunch as well as coffee. The bacon was cooked perfectly, just like I would at my own home. The atmosphere was perfect for what I needed to work remotely, plugs available and plenty of seating. While I will admit that upon entering in the morning, the lady at the front counter wasn't immediately warming, but after I chatted with her a few times she seemed to open up and was friendly. I think she's possibly just a quiet person, I didn't find her rude like others mentioned, just not over the top friendly like one would probably expect for this type of position. This would not deter me from coming back in the future. Definitely recommend!

I have been a few times now and the bacon egg & cheese is fantastic. The service has been great each time and the baristas are very nice to chat with. This café best embodies a small-town cozy coffee shop!

Been here twice now, once for coffee, again for coffee and breakfast. Excellent flavor and quality, left feeling so satisfied after having the Monroe and a cappuccino. If you're debating Café Sophia is a must try.

I’ve been here twice and have been so happy with the food. I ordered an Italian sandwich the first time and breakfast sandwiches the second and everything was made with high quality ingredients and properly to order. It’s a cute spot to also pop in for a coffee. Highly recommend!

The service has this far been outstanding. My order was ready prior to my arrival. The Smells of Goodness seeping from the Bag. My #1 go to free Pastries and Baked items.

I happened to stumble on this place walking by when I almost walked further to Washington St. thankfully I was lazy and too cold outside because I had a great breakfast sandwich (egg and cheddar on a croissant) and coffee. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the food is delicious. I’ll be coming back!

Cafe Sophia is a cute little corner Cafe with a wide variety of lattes drinks sandwiches and baked goods. A must try!

Cute little Hoboken cafe! I love coming here for an iced coffee and quick lunch. The Tacchino and Pig & Fig paninis are so delicious.
